Why bring it up now - at all? If she wasn't happy in her marriage, she should have left - simple. Publicly cheating on her husband didn't do her any favors in the long run. But that's not why her career's in the tank. She was all set to make a comeback (and break the "America's Sweetheart" mold once and for all), when she made "In the Cut". The problem was her FACE! She was about 40 at the time when she first having alot of work done. So young to go drastic with it. I thought she was a beautiful woman at 40 (before the face transformation) and to this day I think she's exceptionally talented. But now I just can't look at her. I saw her in a movie trailer (not for her latest film but the one just before it) and I cringed every time she came on the screen. I'm sure her performance was great, but her alien from outer space face was too distracting and I never would have made it through the film. Very sad. She once had the kind of natural beauty that didn't require her to engage in such a radical change to her face. Now because her face is no longer human. It's very hard to stopping thinking about it when you see her on the screen and trying to concentrate her performance. She had the kind of beauty that would have aged very gracefully, and the kind of true talent as an actor that would have kept her career alive for a very long time playing character roles, or roles like Sally Field and Kyra Sedgwick.
