Right after her 36th birthday on March 18th, Queen Latifah announced that she wants a child.

She said that having a child is “the most unselfish thing you could ever do” and that she has everything prepared to have a child by this time next year. No word yet as to whether she is adopting or having it naturally or if she will raise the child with a partner. We think that she will make a great mom.
