If anything is going to send reformed party girl Lindsay Lohan back down the path of substance abuse, it’s this ongoing verbal slapfight between her and her annoying famewhore father, Michael. Mr. Holier-than-thou, who is an ex-con himself, just can’t stop e-mailing the tabloids his opinions on his daughter’s companion of choice, Samantha Ronson. His latest attack was via e-mail to x17, in which he called the celebrity DJ “hideous” and “disgusting.” He also accuses her of being the person writing Lindsay’s latest MySpace blog entries. Unfortunately, Lindsay can’t help herself, either. The smartest thing to do is simply ignore her father, but instead, she shot an e-mail to Page Six defending Samantha and their relationship and slamming her dad.
“My father obviously needs to be on medication to control his moods. He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it’s dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and I my whole childhood. He needs to be stopped. This is yet another reason why we aren’t speaking.
“I am in a great place in life,” Lindsay continued. “I have overcome a lot and have been able to learn how to enjoy and appreciate my life in every way possible. I’m proud of myself for being able to make a change in the past year and a half.
“My past is behind me, and that’s final. There’s nothing more to be said. All the false accusations that people try to make are simply because there’s no story when things are calm and good.
“But they might as well let it go because their lies don’t affect me anymore. Samantha is not evil, I care for her very much and she’s a wonderful girl.
“She loves me, as I do her.”
Is anyone else as sick of this as I am? Maybe the whole family needs to go on Jerry Springer and just duke it out, once and for all. As for Michael Lohan, he is not able to accurately judge anyone’s character or criticize the way anyone looks or dresses. The guy calls Joe Francis a “wonderful person” and was quick to praise Lindsay’s last boyfriend, Riley- the one she met in rehab who sold her out to the tabloids as soon as the relationship ended. What the hell does Michael know about anything except exploiting his kids so he can stay in the tabloids? Does he really think she was better off with Riley or Calum Best, whom she dated at the height of her substance abuse problems? I suppose he was just happy Lindsay was with a guy. He has some serious homophobic hang-ups and really needs to STFU, forever. But Lindsay is only feeding his need for attention by responding. The best thing for her to do is completely ignore his idiotic rants.

I believe she ignored him for some days now,but he keeps on threatening her with more revelations and so on.What an awfull guy.Also its realy unfair to Samantha to say such awfull things,everybody to publish them and to go unanswered.I agree that he was probably Lindsays main problem all her life.Also maybe thats why Linds always excuses her mum?Cause she saw what she went throu too?

That line shows some signs of domestic abuse i wonder.Didnt Lindsays former bodyguard said once that the whole family is afraid of him?Iam starting to believe its true.

After reading how Michael Lohan called E! and left another crazy rant… I must confess that:
Wow…. I never knew that Samantha Ronson was such a powerful lesbian lothario, who had full and total control over poor innocent and virtuous Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay if Michael is to be believed (and why shouldn’t this father of the year be believed) has no free will of her own… she apparently can’t formulate words for herself, as Samantha writes all of her blogs for her! Lindsay can’t escape the evil clutches of Samantha even when she’s alone-perhaps Samantha ties Lindsay to the bed so she can’t escape (oh, but how would that explain the pictures of Lindsay happily out and about when Samantha is somewhere else)? The hypnotic spell that Samantha has put Lindsay under is so powerful that Lindsay cries on the phone to her father, yet Dad doesn’t try to get Lindsay away from Samantha’s evil clutches.
Yes, Michael Lohan we are supposed to believe anything coming from your publicity obsessed homophobic mouth? Get over yourself and STFU!!! -
You’d think she would have some sort of legal recourse to make him stop talking about her constantly. I don’t believe in infringing free speech, but I also don’t believe in abusing free speech to harrass someone, which is what he is doing. I wonder what the law would be regarding this situation?

Im not a fan of LL but being on the site i remember past posts about her and i must say she really did overcome mayor problems.It’s great to see her in shape ,healthy ,working and in a steady relationship that makes her happy.I remember her skinny ,drunk and druged she evidentely is doing much better.So Michael Lohan seek therapy for your anger issues and deal with the fact that your daughter is bisexual or lesbian and she’s happy!!!

Definitely the best thing is to ignore him, but you also want to speak up for yourself when he is being so publicly accusatory, it’s just human nature to want to defend yourself.
I am actually starting to feel sorry for Lindsay Lohan. Imagine.

she ought to file a suit against him for defamation or harrassment or something and have a judge issue a gag order on talking to the press about her. I really do believe at this point that it constitutes harrassment.

Unfortunately, I think it’s worse than you depicted. He doesn’t want to exploit his kids. He wants to be the center of attention! He would do it even if he were nobody… it’s up to the tabloid to stop giving him attention. Michael Lohan can’t be entirely blamed for this circus… the circus would end, if the tabloid stopped feeding it.

Agree with Bros - Linds & Sam’s lawyers need to figure out some way to get him to STFU. Sam might even have the better case for defamation.

All looks good for those two but is it? I think it is Sam who will get hurt, Linds says she is not a lesbian but loves a woman!? Sam helped Linds when she was down, but has it been totally drug free? Many doubt that.Also, Linds likes the d— too much to give up for good. I also think no talent Linds is enjoying all the publicity since her career sucks. Tired of hearing about these two who are not celebrities. Make them go away.

Its obvious how well Lindsay is doing, I don’t think she is on drugs still, she looks too healthy and happy. For a drug addict, if they start taking drugs again, it almost always spirals out of control again so I think its obvious she’s not on drugs.
I think that her & sam should take legal action… and keep their heads up cos michael is crazy and everyone agrees.
