Gwen Stefani covers the April issue of Elle UK – the high quality image is the subscribers’ cover, and the low-quality image is the newsstand version. Honestly, I don’t know what Gwen is selling at this point. I don’t think she even has an album coming out, so she’s probably just promoting the fashion stuff. She just had a runway show a few weeks ago, at New York Fashion Week, I think. So that’s probably what she’s promoting. I apologize for not having any interview excerpts yet – nothing has been released!
Below, I’ve included some photos of Gwen, Gavin and… Zuma, I think. They were in LA yesterday, and they were pap’d, as they are very often. A lot of people have noted that Gwen is a lot like Jennifer Garner – in that we always have new photos of Gwen and her family, and that maybe Gwen uses these controlled photo-ops to control her image and to famwhore herself out a bit. I don’t know… for a while, Jennifer and The Dimple Parade was making daily appearances in front of the paps, but she’s settled down quite a bit, and suddenly haven’t been any daily paparazzi-friendly outings in a few months (which makes me think that Garner can control it, you know?). Does Gwen use the same method? When there are rumors about Gavin and that transvestite, did Gwen use public outings to defuse the situation? I wasn’t paying attention. All I know is that Gwen, Gavin and the boys do get photographed a lot.

I believe they have been styling his hair like this for a long time. It’s like when Maddox also was sporting some streaks in his hair. At the time, Angelina said it was a natural dye, that wasn’t harmful to kids, if I remember correctly.

Yes,for anyone who doesn’t know(including,apparantly,the author of this post)Gwen is working on a new album with her No Doubt bandmates.Plus she has her two hugely successful fashion lines and is the new spokesperson for L’Oreal,so there is much to promote.It’s nice to see her on another magazine cover,and this one is GORGEOUS! I think it’s a little rude though to suggest that Gwen employs ”controlled photo-ops” to control her public image.In reality,Gwen has said that her elder son Kingston sometimes is upset by the paparazzi and that she wishes that the paparazzi wouldn’t take photos of her children.

If that’s true I really don’t understand why Jennifer Garner wouldn’t at least put a minimum make up or dress up better (and wash her hair).
Gwen is always fashionable, I admire that. She’s a celebrity and she acts like that.

The difference between her and Jennifer Garner is that Jennifer Garner is a hands on mom who doesn’t rely on nannies 24/7.
Stefani even brings nannies on outings to the playground or out to restaurants when her husband is with her and there are more adults than kids!!!

Jennifer Garner has nannies just like every other celeb. I believe she has one per daughter(gasp) she affects the natural look so that whenever she’s ‘caught’ by the paps in Starbucks or wherever she looks hands on. The Minivans love that shiz. Like Jennifer, Gwen has not much going on career wise except endorsments. I am not saying she isn’t talented or amazing looking but she’s pushing 40 (if not older) and the recording industry is a younger person’s game unless she wants to do a grueling constant touring schedule. So it’s pap walks so that no one forgets WTF she is in order to promote her fashion line.

WTF are you on about re: minivans and WTH do they have to do with this post or my comment? Personally, I can’t stand them.
As for Garner & Stefani, Gwen uses nannies 24/7 and takes them with her EVERYWHERE — even when the kids are outnumbered by adults!! Garner has them on stand by for work-related commitments and seems to prefer playing and interacting with her kids herself rather than sitting at the playground primping and preening while the nanny does the grunt work.

I don’t see the point of this story when there’s no article to talk about. It seems pointless. But as mentioned Gwen is probably promoting her fashion lines. No Doubt has been saying for at least two years they are recording an album and I think about a month ago she said they were halfway done. Also Jennifer Garner is with nannies all of the time. Not sure how anybody can say she doesn’t nannies.

‘the minivan majority’ is a term I picked up from Lainey it doesn’t refer to all people who drive minivans but just people who are conventional in thinking and like ‘normal celebs’ .
