Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made their first public appearance together last night after the birth of their boy and girl twins, Knox and Vivienne, in France on July, 12, 2008. The famous good-looking couple attended the premiere of Angelina’s new Clint Eastwood-directed film, The Changeling, in New York on Saturday night. Angeline wore a strapless Atelier Versace black dress, Sergio Rossi shoes and pearl jewelry by Mikimoto, according to People. She also showed off two new identical latitude and longitude coordinates tattooed on her left upper arm for her twins. She has four other tattoos there that represent the coordinates of each of her children’s birthplaces, from Maddox to Shiloh.
Jolie told People that her growing family is doing “great,” and says she’s breastfeeding the twins, which “is part of your body’s recovery.” She looks to have recovered well:
Asked if she felt nervous to be back in the spotlight, Jolie told PEOPLE, “Not nervous as much as I just took a deep breath because it¹s been so long. It felt a little strange.”
The Manhattan visit marks the first time since the birth of their twins, Vivienne and Knox, that Jolie and Pitt have been in the city with their children.
“Everybody’s great,” she told PEOPLE. “The babies are getting big and healthy and developing personalities.”
As for being in the city that never sleeps, Jolie, 33, said, “We are a little bit [sleep deprived]. We have some help a couple of nights a week, so on those nights we catch up on our sleep.”
Still, as ever, she looked ravishing – decked out in an Atelier Versace dress, Sergio Rossi shoes and Mikimoto pearl earrings and ring – after a day of taking her three eldest kids (Zahara, Maddox and Pax Thien) to Lee’s Art Store midtown, while Brad went downtown to see photographer Jerry Spagnoli at his studio.
“I run around with all the other kids, and I’m breastfeeding, which I think is a part of your body’s recovery,” Jolie said. “I feel great [and] feel very happy that they’re healthy.”

i like that brad went darker too. they look great. i love that she is not afraid to wear a form fitting dress and show the extra tummy she still has instead of wearing what every other actress wears at post-birth (before all the baby weight is totally gone) events, those flowy, empire waisted dresses totally designed to camoflauge (sp) any extra padding. AJ’s wearing a tough dress to wear 3 months or so after giving birth and i applaud her for not trying to hide everything. she looks great.

Gerenimo, she is not photogenic at all, pictures do not do her justice. She is out of this world beautiful. I was there last night and I did see Pamela so I guess she will be posting later but the consensus with the fans last night was that pictures do not do her justice. There is this luminous radiance about her that camera cannot capture.
I am running off to watch The changelling, I will post more much later in the day.

@allabouteve - Being naturally beautiful does NOT automatically make someone photogenic. There are thousands of naturally beautiful people out there who do not photograph well. Entirely separate things. I understand you’re still on a high from your encounter(!) but a little bit of logic please!
How odd that you would pick that up as a negative thing? To describe someone as incredibly photogenic implies that the camera likes them all the time as opposed to just in carefully posed studio shots.

I can’t believe these ultra botoxed media hoggers are back to start where they left off. And to think I had stopped hating their pimping ways because they had reduced them a bit. Looks like they were just waiting for their surgery to heal and extra flab to leave. Oh and some nose surgery to take shape. I never find people who have had plastic surgery beautiful.
Ahhh, life was good when it lasted. Now it is back to wish them away….
FYI, Changelling is getting some bad reviews at the NYFF.

They truly are Hollywood royalty, movie stars for our generation.
Angelina is one of the few actresses I could imagine fitting right into Casablanca, say, or Cat on a Hot Tin Roof…her beauty and presence fit right in with Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly or Rita Hayworth.

The best she’s looked in a long time! She’s absolutely radiant. I’ve never found Brad attractive, and in these pictures he looks like he is in dire need of a nap, haha. Not that I can blame him; they’ve got their hands quite full. Angelina looks absolutely stunning though, and I agree with everyone else- props to her for still having a bit of extra baby weight and rocking it!
At the rate they move when it comes to children, she’ll have sleeves in no time

Celeb cynic that I am I digress when it comes to these two…looking at the pics made my day…and made me a bit emotional actually. I know that look…and the feelings that go with it… because that’s how I look at my new husband. They love each other and it shows. And Angelina looks incredibly beautiful. I wish them nothing but the best, how fantastic to see two people so obviously happy.
Its interesting, when I came to NZ almost three years ago and met my now husband at work six months later the comments had to be heard to be believed. And we aren’t celebrities obviously.
The gist of them was that I was a ‘ho who was ’stealing’ a Kiwi man, as I was a Canadian and WORSE, I had lived in Australia! None of the other women knew my now husband was even “looking” and I had taken advantage of him because he was lonely…blah blah blah. And these are well educated, fairly senior people in the public service. UNBELIEVABLE.
I tell this story to illustrate that it doesn’t matter what socio-economic/class strata you might occupy in life someone, somewhere is wanting to take you down, not becaue its you but because they are miserable whingers.
So all you haters go take a running jump at yourselves, pictures speak volumes.

Brad looks old and haggard because Angelina had to prep herself for this photo op. Brad has been carrying kids in and out of vans and planes for the last couple of weeks, even I feel for him. It is no wonder that he looks like shit.
Angieho has an artificial calm about her that shows that she is on something. I wouldn’t say she looks happy, just contained.
Since her movie is not going to fetch much at the box office like Brad’s latest movie didn’t, here is to hoping that they go away soon. Those poor kids need some stability.
Like I said, plastic looks have never impressed me. Neither do vacant looks.

Brad’s latest movie is now the 2nd higest grossing Coen movie ever in the US. It has now opened to large grosses in overseas markets. The studio sold the movie on Brad’s back and they are super happy with him.
Angie’s performance in Changeling is getting suberb reviews across the board.
Brad and Angie have stayed mosly out of sight, especially Angie, for months, only emerging for work as all must do. They both look beyond wonderful considering they are joyful hands on parents to 6 small ones, including 2.5 months old twins, and lots of sleep and rest is not something either is getting much of at this point.
I see some are still into their super negative mode as to these 2 and I wonder why. I can only speculate that some people live the most miserable and unhappy lives imaginable and therefore cannot accept the reality that others are truly happy and in love. How very sad and wasteful to go through life this way.

Angelina’s makeup artist should have spent some time on Brad. He looks awful! Like some haggard father of six, and not a hot bloke. Those bags under his eyes. The unpolished skin. Urk! Get thee to a spa pronto and get exfoliated and moisturized! I guess the next time we see Angelina she’ll be back to her rail-thin, veins bulging on arms, toothpick legs look. I am amazed she can even pick up Zahara considering how skinny she is. She must have gone on a starvation 5-hours a day workout binge after the twins were born as she barely has a tummy in those pictures. Amazing she is even breast-feeding as I would have thought her milk would have dried up if she’s starving herself again. Wonder how long it will be before number 7 joins the family.

RAN, I have no problem with anyone expressing their opinion, that is what all here posting are doing. But no one need use crude language and tabloidish inuendo like Lola does. I just don’t see the need to do so. Others typically do not and express their dislike quite eloquently. People have the right ot like or dislike others based on whatever reason they have, whether it is logical or rational to do so. Lola always sounds so off the wall and irrational about anything associated with this couple as if they have personally caused her some major harm. That is all I have to say.

Saw “Burn After Reading” this weekend — it was great. Took me a while to adjust to Brad in the new role, but he pulled if off really well. That being said, Clooney’s my main man — swoon — and he looked fierce, even in a gold chain.
