This is a crock of hooey. Vaughn's mother couldn't stand Aniston and thinks she's a phony. Even more damning Vaughn himself doesn't want anything more to do with Aniston. You can put this down to Aniston's uber-dog PR flack Stephen Huvane trying to generate interest in Aniston's upcoming dud with Gerard Butler. Every since Butler put the kibbosh on their fauxmance Huvane's been scrambling for a replacement PR strategy. The fact is - if The Bounty Hunter fails then Aniston's days are a "lead" actress in romcoms are over. After the box office failures of Love Happens and Management she can't get any projects greenlit on her name alone. Without the likes of Vaughn & Sandler poor weepy Jen would have to head back to tv with her tail tucked between her legs. She just needs to admit the fact that she'll never be a true A-list movie star the way Pitt and Jolie are, get over herself and stop inflicting bad romcoms on the world! Enough already, Jen!

RAN - Like most people who love cinema, my tastes cross all the divides and while nothing will ever again match the glamour and excitement of that era of film-making, I personally feel the range of many contemporary actors matches, and in many cases, surpasses that of their iconic predecessors. Film-making and acting is a much tougher game now - and international independent cinema, in particular, has produced extraordinary talent, talent that can more than compete with the iconic greats. But JMO.

But, on the glamour and style fronts, Old Hollywood wins hands down - no competition! THAT is definitely a thing of the past.

G, just saw your comment that must have gone to spam. You're right.. I wasn't thinking of those folks so it was a pretty sweeping generalization. I was thinking more along the lines of the younger crowd - A Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, etc... But you know what... your list has some pretty young folks on it too.. so I stand corrected. Then again, I can't agree that anyone on your list has reached the Clark Gable, Audrey Hepburn, Paul Newman, Liz Taylor type of credibility. Do you think they ever will?

dumdee, that's been my take for a while. I find myself defending Jennifer Aniston against the very same people who claim to defend AJ against the "irrational, disturbing, made up, OTT, etc. stuff". However, the JA comments seem to be just as irrational, made up, OTT, etc. Sometimes I think JA doesn't go out of her way to hide her personal business, but then... why should she? Certainly she's a hypocrite at times, but so is the 'save the world' philosophies of the other two.

I don't care for her because she's IMO a very limited actress and, based on her interviews, not a particularly interesting person. Is that ok?

RAN - sorry, sweeping generalisation there, your <i>'Who, in Hollywood, is really much more than a limited dimensional actor/tress? None of them.'</i> That's just not true. Laura Linney, Toni Collette, Naomi Watts, Christina Ricci, Laura Dern, William H Macy, Robert Downey Junior, Christian Bale...the list goes on and on and on. Just sayin....

No clue yet- we want a surprise, lol. My mother swears up and down it's going to be a boy, but we'll just have to wait and see!

I'm really excited, even though every day I look down at my belly and still cannot seem to fathom that there is a tiny person in there, haha. I can't wait to meet him or her, and that meeting can't come soon enough. It hasn't been too bad other than the moodiness, ridiculously swollen boobs (they came before the bump, and people were asking me if I had gotten a boob job, lol), and the waking-up-at-3am-wanting-ice-cream part. The doc says that's all pretty standard though, so I'm not stressin' it. :)
