He allowed them to rant and rave and say all kinds of things, in their "effort" to adjust, things that I would have said "y'all need to get a fucking grip" to, but he allowed a week or more of it and then posted his blog as promised. If you read the entire blog it's very well done, unapologetic, compassionate for those having issues (which is weird since it's his life (simplified, I know), but very definitive in his position. I give the man props for being that strong...tough thing in any gay person's life, coming out to family, much less millions of "interested" parties. Anyway, I think he's pretty much done with that...he does wish to have his own life. As to the makeup...eh. Some remove it some don't... I give the dude props for not giving a damn and just doing his thing. Peace! He usually comes out to stage door within minutes of the curtain coming down. He goes back inside after signing autographs and taking pictures with fans and then gets ready to go home. It doesn't take that long to take off, and actors need the time to decompress after the show, change clothes, give costumes to the wardrobe people, take off their makeup, and even receive friends that have come to see the show in their dressing rooms. Throngs of fans are there every night, night after night for years sometimes, the actors don't go rushing out to greet every busload of Baltimore blue hairs and pre-menarchal teenyboppers.
