Details of Life & Style’s Brad & Angelina ‘How We Make it Work’ cover story

Life & Style has a cover story that seems like it features an exclusive sit-down interview with Brad and Angelina that may include their genuine relationship tips for how to keep the fire burning with six kids and countless responsibilities. The title reads: “Exclusive: Brad and Angelina Speak Out ‘How We Make It Work!’”

The interview is not quite the relationship guide they billed it as and is pulled from a brief interview they gave on the red carpet at the Changeling premiere fleshed out with other details. Props to Life & Style for coming up with a smart way to sell magazines. They got me to buy it and it’s not a tabloid I read every week. The unique quotes are below and the rest of the article is filler about how they looked at the premiere and the things the family did in NY:

Angelina took some time [at the Changeling premiere] to speak exclusively to Life & Style about life with six kids and how she got her body back. Asked about her amazing slim-down, she joked that “good clothes” were the secret. Of course, a dress can only do so much. “I spend a lot of time running around after the kids,” Angie told Life & Style “That certainly helps. And I’m breast-feeding, which also helps. I have an exercise routine, but I mostly just run around after the kids!”…

“The twins are wonderful,” Angelina tells Life & Style. “They have a really special bond. The other kids are really fascinated by them - -I think they feel older now that there are new babies around. They try to help, but they’re all still quite young, so they can only do so much.”

Still, it’s cute watching them try. “The other kids fawn over the twins,” Brad tells Life & Style. “It’s great.”

Ange while life is certainly chaotic right now, it’s not overwhelming them. During their whirlwind weekend in NYC, Angelina and Brad offered a peek at how they manage to balance their careers and children while still finding room for romance.

“When you have your priorities set, you just make the time,” Angie said.

Didn’t US Weekly say that Angelina didn’t exercise to lose weight? She told Life & Style that she does, although she tried to downplay it.

I don’t want to knock Life & Style because it must be hard to stand there for hours and do all that preparation only to get a few quotes. We had a taste of it a couple weeks ago waiting for Brad at the Burn After Reading premiere when it turned out he was already in NY.

The only clue Brad and Angelina give about their relationship and “how they make it work” though is that Angelina said “you just make the time.” Of course Life & Style is going to bill it as a unique interview and it is, it’s just not the intimate portrait of their home life I was hoping for. For that you’ll have to read one of the many other interviews they’re doing this week.

Oh and the “We have a bath together every night” quote on the cover is from The Mirror, and I doubt it’s even new. It sounds like something she said last year to Marie Claire and that’s why I didn’t report it earlier this week.

    “We’re very happy.”

  2. 1000 monkeys at 1000 typewriters could write a better tabloid.

  3. Kaiser & Dante Amen :!:
Making the time is hard enough for the average couple with kids. They seem to have it together and what they don’t will come with time. They both seem committed to making it work. That’s is what’s important.
Love is a wonderful thing isn’t it?

  7. Thanks guys. No, no date set yet. Things are different in Germany when it comes to marriage. My parents were engaged for four years until they married. But we do plan for next year.

  14. Bodhi, 21 days!! Any wedding jitters yet? Not that I am trying to get you nervous or anything like that.

Today is really quiet at work, but my boss is sitting like two desks away from me. So what am I doing, to appear that i am hard at work? I have a file open infront of me shuffling papers, while I am posting.

    Smart eh?

Celebitchy - I have mastered the art of the alt-tab. Sometimes my co-workers laugh when they walk into my cube and see me quickly switching to my spreadsheets.

  20. Anni, I am so pleased for you! If anyone deserves this happiness, it’s you.

You can’t let the illness stop you - what if you beat it, and then you’d sat there waiting for it to beat you, and missed out on living?

We will be expecting a link to a page full of photos of the wedding (since traveling to Germany to attend in person is not in my budget).

  25. Now, I have a fresh bottle of Riga Black Balsam and I think I’ve drunk enough of the stuff over the past week to whip up a nice batch of Latvian Hot BlackCurrant. It will literally cure all ails!

Alternatively, I’ve got some absinthe (well absinthe-lite, 60% proof  )

  27. Yay marriage! This makes me want to renew my vows. Only been 3 years though.. ha.
I’m sorry I didn’t know you are ill.

I love the exclusive and they always have vague quotes inside. Celeb rags recycle stories but lots of magazines do. Every womans mag has the same topics repositioned and reworded haha. I like the joint bath thing, to die for sweet. :P

Anni & Bodhi; Remember to have fun on your wedding day, it goes by in a flash
