Last week, we got to see Mariah Carey’s epic, naked pregnancy photo on the cover of Life & Style. Many criticized Mariah for giving (selling?) the photos of L&S, one of the most budget tabloids, but considering she also gave L&S the exclusive on the babies’ genders, I think Mariah probably has an existing relationship with someone at the mag or something. Anyway, this week’s gem comes via the British OK! Magazine – even more naked pregnant photos, this time with Nick feeling up his lady. Oh, Mariah. I LOVE YOU.
There are a few excerpts from the OK! Mag piece, and of course it’s all Mariah:
Mariah says: “You can tell the personalities a bit. In viewing our ultrasounds, our boy is all ready like Nick, like, ‘Here I am, take my picture or don’t, and our girl is coyly facing the other way, like, ‘No pictures,’ waiting for a proper debut. I took some ultrasound footage of them in the womb that I think they’ll definitely find interesting later in life.”

Look, I know some of you might think these photos are cheesy and gross and weird and creepy and all kinds of wrong, but you know what? It’s Mariah, bitches. She wants us to celebrate her love and her babies and her life, and I for one am celebrating. She’s magnificent. Budget and magnificent.

A pregnant woman is a thing of beauty and the pictures are beautiful.
However, I don’t like the thought of it being so public, especially front cover (my personal opinion)- this should really be intimate pictures for family enjoyment.
For the public maybe PG Rated pictures would have been a better choice (as well as the heading)

As far as these pics go, I think they would be more beautiful if she had a sheer robe of some sort covering her lady bits and allowed her belly to be exposed. The whole naked thing is a little much and I don’t really want to see him naked either. Pregnancy is beautiful and I’m happy for them both but I am not really feeling these pics.

I like Mariah, but this should have been kept for the personal archives. The ones last week were OK, but this wasn’t necessary. She said she did it for the fans but we got that ‘gift’ last week. This is attention seeking now Mimi. Nick published the letter he wrote to his unborn twins yesterday, I mean seriously?? I understand the excitement but that should be personal from him to his children. IMO, all these comments about the nudity are really borderline – close to suggesting it’s OK to have non-pregnant nudity, but we’re uncomfortable with a big belly. I’m pretty liberal. I get that Mariah thinks she is the only woman ever to be pregnant at the moment because she waited so long.
I had no problem with the Life and Style photos. I thought Demi Moore showed more in the 90s BUT the ones with the dude feeling her up are bordering on pornographic. I don’t need to see that and I sure as hell don’t want a child seeing those.

Demi Moore wasn’t the first to doo this Melissa Gilbert was in 1989. as I’ve said before give Mariah & Nick a break they wanted to document this for their fans and also break the menaughtany of her being on best rest until the twins are born. Nick has had that tattoo of her Name on his back since they got married like she has a butterfly on her talebone. Mariah has said being pregnant makes her feel more comfident and secure in her own skin. common sense tells us if you don’t like it don’t look it’s not the 50′s & 60′s anymore when you weren’t even allowed to say the p word in print or on telvision. the photographer who took the pictures has been photographing her for a decade she trusts him and he did a wonderful job considering she can only stand up for a few minutes at a time because of her feet being so swollen from the pregnancy never mind the beautiful big belly in the way nuturing the twins as they grow within her.

lets blame the art director-well consider that they had to block out all of Mariah’s body except her huge belly and face-obviously she had a lot of hair extensions in to cover her neck and shoulders and the poses are forced and awkward because of trying to get a photo that doesn’t show her ginormous arse and tree trunk legs-she was a good 60 lbs over weight when she got pregnant and so I’m sure it was an art directors nightmare-hence no one talented or famous was going to do it like with Demi or Claudia.The black fuzzy background was for the photoshop team to have some room to crop off and smooth out all her flab-the art director obviously did the best he could under the circumstances. Maraih has always acted like a molested 12 year old princess diva living in unicorn land and of course she had to push her huge cow belly in with the ranks of other celebrities-it all reeks of being a jealous copycat-like when her and J-Lo had the “who can show more skin on the red carpet” contest -then Glitter flopped and she had a poor me sympathy sponge “nervous breakdown”. Mariah seems to see what other celebrities get attention for and go drooling after it-I mean really the public has been telling Mariah to quit sausaging herself into the porno prom dresses for a few years now -that a 42 year old overweight pop star isn’t going to sale records based on strip videos anymore-if Maraih really thought she was selling CD’s based on her voice why did they all come attached to soft porn videos and posters and why when she rehashed her Xmas album she used a 10 year old composite photoshop image of herself on the cover? If she has made soo much money why does she keep whoring herself out to the point people tell her to put her clothes on-really quite embarrassing for everyone

I found these to be very odd. The pic where only his back is shown with her name tattooed across his back?? It’s like he’s been branded and is her property, the sperm donor. Distasteful and very, very odd. Could have been done alot better. I’m still shaking my head….

Oh my good that is really in the front cover? That doesn’t look good for me. It could be nice if they keep it a private photos. I honestly doesn’t like the guy looks immature eww!
