June Pointer, the youngest Pointer sister, dies at 52

June Pointer has died of cancer at the age of 52.
She was the lead singer for most of The Pointer Sister’s songs, including “I’m so Excited.” The Pointer Sisters will continue to perform with June’s other sisters, Ruth and Anita, and her niece, Issa.
