We’ve been talking about what Fergie allegedly had done to her face for weeks now. Her husband’s explanation was that Fergie had simply changed lipsticks. The tabloids claimed that she had gone under the knife for a $30,000 plastic surgery makeover. As more and more photos appear, I’m more inclined to think that the difference is plastic, and that it likely cost Fergie much more than $30K. Her face looks really, really different (to me).
Anyway, these are new photos of Fergie promoting… shoes?… at Macy’s. Sure. Cool. Look how she’s posing for the photos – it kind of breaks my heart. Did I ever really think Fergie was some great beauty? No, I didn’t, but her 2009 Face was fine. It moved. She could close her mouth and she didn’t look permanently “surprised”. her 2009 Face didn’t look painful, like this. I feel like Fergie is wincing! I find this set of photos so depressing… Fergie has this great voice, she’s one of the most popular solo acts, and she’s in one of the most popular groups in the world, and she still feels the need to mangle her face and then pose like this on a red carpet to shill shoes. There’s something so sad and desperate about it. I know that sounds really bitchy, and I’m honestly not trying to say “Haha, it’s so funny that her face is jacked and she’s desperate.” It’s not funny. It’s sad. She’s better than this.

I think she looks better than she has in a long time. Maybe her lips are a little fuller, but they look awesome. Even her hair looks better. The only thing I find “depressing” about these photos is that I can’t look like that!

She was perfectly lovely before. Do these celebs simply get tired of their faces? Do they need to change their face like a wardrobe they’re bored with (shish, she should see my closet)?
Anyway, the surgens are really gifted to make such a change yet we can’t put our finger on exactly what changed….only to say, “SHE’S JACKED!”

yes, and before this it was all ‘whoa holy methface’ in every article so I can see where (combined with the cheating hubby) she may have some self confidence issues or say ‘screw it, they call me ugly anyway’. girl gets slammed no matter what.

She had a slight bump on her nose, which I do notice is gone now. Other than that I see no changes to her lips or anything else.

Damn! I’m from Lebanon, where plastic surgery is as common as getting a new hair colour. Not kidding. I think Beirut actually has the highest plastic surgeons per capita outside of Miami or something nuts like that. And know what? Fergie looks like every other woman over 35 back home. It’s pretty sad, I agree. I would never get work done, and I want to say that I should not judge others. But I do most of the time, especially when people end up looking like her. My judgement: sad and pathetic, but better than last year’s face. Lip fillers fo sho.

She looks so so different to me. I’d love to see a side by side before and after. She looks obviously plastic but…prettier than before. That’s what is sad, to me. That she has such low self esteem that she had to do this. She was never a beauty, but her looks were unique. Now she looks like a blow-up doll.
And PLEASE, celebs, stop treating us like we’re f’in stupid and just cop to having the surgery. Jesus. New lipstick. Yeah. Ok. Just like Kirstie is a size 8, right?

She is simply beautiful no matter what. Instead of focusing so much on her appearance, why don’t you promote the fact that she had a deadly drug addiction that she managed to overcome and use that to inspire your readers.
Let’s compliment her on her focus, talent and her ability to pick herself up and dust herself off and not play the what did she cut game.

These major surgeries shouldnt even be considered until you are a minimum of 45! and botox and filler shouldnt be considered until late 30′s and even then a light touch is needed.

It has been widely speculated that she got a nose job, and botox. So much so that her singing voice has become altered. She actually does sound different on the new album.

I honestly don’t think the whole thing would be quite so noticeable if it weren’t for the blindingly blue-tinted unnatural teeth. She looks like she has Barbie teeth. I mean tooth. Whatever. LOL @ all the comments about Fergie’s teeth. I’m actually about to whiten my own set … and what can I say? I’d love for my teeth to be pearly whites again!
At the moment, they’re really yellow and I have no confidence whatsoever wearing anything white on my upper body.
Fergie’s 2011 face isn’t that bad. It looks like it’s painful for her to smile, but maybe the “tightness” will get better over time as her face “settles” … she actually looks more like the Photoshopped version of herself on the cover of the Elephunk CD we have. Weird and wow!

I think she looks way better than before, not waxy or creepy looking. Her face is smoother, and her cheeks aren’t saggy as usual, probably it’s just the hair that’s hiding them but to me it seems more like a mini face lift. I see plastic surgery here, and fortunately it’s the good one.
PS: I see what’s different: the space between her eyes (above the bridge of the nose) is less deep and it softens her overall appearenace. She looks less a caveman.

Whatever she’s had done (or undone!) she looks better to me than she did before. I think she actually looks more natural now (except for the teeth!).
While I applaud the celebs who buck the trend and don’t get work done, I understand why most of them get plastic surgery or cosmetic work of some sort. I just wish they would be honest about it-I have alot more respect for the ones that are truthful about what they have or haven’t done. I read an article in the The New Yorker recently about the actress Anna Faris and although I’m not a fan of boob jobs I liked the fact that she was open about having one. She also admitted to having Botox, too. If you get work done, own up to it…don’t pretend it’s just new make-up or that you gained a little weight and the extra pounds all magically landed on your chest.

When she first became a member of BEP I met her at a concert – back then, she looked surprisingly fresh in person but clearly still had some past work done. In photographs she looked completely different to me.
I’d say veneers are the biggest change from 09 to now… but I can’t help wonder if she is one of those people who looks more harsh/harder in photos.

I find this to be sad for the same reasons Kaiser does. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with her face before. It wasn’t cookie-cutter, (& admittedly I probably would’ve tried to take care of that slight ‘cleft’ in her chin ages ago) but she had all this confidence doing her own thing, which I’ve always envied.
Now it looks like she’s trying to be Angelina Jolie… If you let your eyes go out of focus for a second, you’d really think it *was* AJ…. Fish lips & all. But perhaps NotSoAnonymous is right, in that she photographs harsher (sort of like Rumer Willis, who looks totally different on video).

I think she looks lovely. I suspect they did something with her jawline and lips but it looks pretty natural to me. She didn’t look bad before but she looks even better now… and I’m not generally a proponent of unnecessary plastic surgery.
