In what reads like a cautionary tale from one of those romcoms that made her famous (it seems most of the stars of He’s Just Not That Into You didn’t learn much from it, except maybe Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Connelly) Drew Barrymore’s new boyfriend is allegedly getting scared off by her talk of marriage and babies after they’ve been dating just three months. Drew’s boyfriend, an “art consultant” named Will Kopelmann who comes from money, was described as a “playboy” back when the news broke that they were dating. That hasn’t changed and he’s supposedly ready to bolt now that Drew is getting so serious.
Sources say Drew’s boyfriend, Los Angelees art consultant Will Kopelmann, is looking to make a clean getaway from the man-crazy actress after just three months of dating.
Why? She scared him off with talk of a quickie marriage…and babies!
The former wild child hooked up with Will, 33, in February and has already been telling pals that she’s found her soul mate. But insiders say Will is a playboy at heart and is not ready to settle down.
“Drew went from Zero to 60 overnight and quickly smothered Will,” continued the source. “Within weeks of hooking up, she overwhelmed him with talks of a wedding and kids and insisted he move into her Los Angeles home.
“Now, Will is getting scared off.”
Drew, 36, is starting to feel her biological clock tick, explains the source.
“She sees friends like Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz in love and settling down and it triggered a change in the usually free-spirited Drew. But Will went into this romance only looking for a fun hookup.”

Drew has been married twice, in 1994 to Jeremy Thomas and in 2001 to Tom Greene. I could have sworn she was married more times than that, but I guess engagements don’t count. She’s 36 now and it’s understandable if she hears her biological clock ticking. Drew has her career nailed down, she’s one of the richest women in Hollywood. Check out her new house. I’m hoping this isn’t true though, and that she’s the one who’s nonchalant about the relationship. You know that Drew falls hard and fast though.

She already looks pregnant in that photo with the long dress. Geez, sometimes she dresses for crap. And what happened to that pretty red hair she had a week ago? I hope these pics are older and she hasn’t gone back to the two-tone, ‘I’m growing my roots out and I can’t afford a box of Miss Clairol’ hair.

I love her hair! My friend just had it done and it looks fantastic. What makes it better was the other ladies in the salon giving her the side-eye when she and her hair dresser were raving about it. I don’t know, I just seem to ‘love’ it when other people ‘hate’ it – haha 🙂

Leave it to “sources” to tell stories about any and every 30something childless woman desperate for a family even when she’s a Gorgeous, successful millionaire who could probably get what she wanted if she *really* wanted it. As if men are afraid of impregnating/settling down with sugar mamas. Please. Barrymore is one of the most successful actor/producer/yaddas in Hollywood. And using Cameron Diaz as one of the friends she supposedly sees “settling into domesticity” is stupid because Diaz has said a couple times now that she doesn’t think she wants to be a mother, and prefers aunthood. Diaz just has a live in bf, big deal, don’t we all. That isn’t settling into domesticity and it isn’t anything different than Barrymore has ever had. Shoot it’s actually less since Barrymore was even married. Anyway personally I love Barrymore’s bohemian style. Esp. pic #3.
i like her and i like her style, although it’s not my style. she does seem a little clingy and a “let’s get married on a whim – it’ll be kooky!” kind of gal.
I love Drew–I think she’s one of the most creative, witty, women in Hollywood and she has a lot of wisdom in many ways, but in other ways is just a normal woman.
I think she should get back together with Justin Long–that was when she seemed to be the happiest, most grounded, and most content with her love life. They seemed a good match.

Uh…I really like her outfit in the second pic. Maybe not the hat, but I’d totally wear the rest. I like Barrymore. She’s a girl’s girl, but she’s ballsy at the same time. And I loved “Whip It”.

Sorry don’t buy it. Drew’s the one usually putting the brakes on her relationships once she feels they’ve run their course. She does fall hard and fast but she’s a seize the moment kinda gal very affectionate and effusive but also very independent. @zesty. He looks like the one gripping tightly to her hand to me. Either way I kinda rolled my eyes a little bit. What they couldn’t separate for two seconds so he could put whatever that is in his wallet?
