Yet another Water for Elephants premiere! YAY! This was the UK premiere, and it was held last night (Tuesday). Previously, we’ve covered the NYC premiere, the Barcelona premiere and the Berlin premiere – poor Sparkles was at all of them! So here’s Reese, Sparkles and Christoph Waltz at the London premiere, and all of them are looking rather lovely. Reese in particular… London really agrees with her, right? Her electric blue cocktail dress is Stella McCartney, and it’s perhaps my favorite Stella dress of the past 48 hours (Met Ball disasters!). My only qualm about Reese’s styling is her hair. It’s so puffy, I think it’s either a full-on wig, or she’s got some blonde mall hair tracks in there.
Meanwhile, Sparkles did black and navy Dries Van Noten. Nice. He looks kind of tired, though.

Ugh. No more Reese Witherspoon posts! It feels like she has been promoting this elephant movie thing for approximately five years. I am getting sick of her fried blonde hair. Also, the dress looks cheap with the straps down. Yuk.
The color is perfect on her. I too would prefer the straps on her shoulders, but other than that, the fit is excellent.
Love this movie, love the actors, keep it coming!
i’ve been in love with Christoph Waltz ever since Inglorious Basterds. the man is sexy as hell. i want to hump his leg, too. y’all can have patterson for all i care.
Did the men have a uniform for this? In any case, Christoph is the best. The other young man does nothing for me. Don’t get the excitement at all.

Love the colour on Reese and her hair is fab, but the dress looks a little tight and the straps look like they’ve fallen down!
I agree with the peanut gallery, in that the blue is a beautiful color for Reese. But also that the straps are driving me nuts. I just want to reach into the picture & ‘fix’ them…
Sometimes dresses can make that look ‘work’, but not this time. It just looks like she got dressed in the closet & left without looking in the mirror.
The straps are stupid looking. Actually one is twisted over, the right. The rest of the dress works. Sparkles is pooped. Probably partied with his mates at the pub too late!
Reese’s hair is awful, and the make-up is too pink.

The straps are to draw your focus to her shoulders/boobs and away from her fuller face and belly.
I like her hair a little messy like that. And the blue is gorgeous on her, though as someone else said the seam could have been a quarter to a half inch looser, LOL. Straps, meh — I think they would have looked better up.
Her smile is infectious, though — she really looks happy and relaxed!
The blue on this dress is just gorgeous! It has such a luxurious look to it, and Reese does it justice. Rob does look tired, but still relaxed (which is great to see). I’ve not seen WFE but I have enjoyed all the photos from the premiers and the promotions CB has covered.
Like her hair; like the color of the dress; but basically, I hate the dress overall. Looks trashy with the straps halfway down her arms like she is halfway undressing.
I hope Waltz will get better leading man roles in the future. He is a true talent.
Anyone else seeing a baby friend in the picture? Either that or it’s just way too tight across her stomach.
They look surprisingly good together! I def agree about the straps on Reese’s dress, though. She is one of my faves so I’ll let that slide.
I suspect the only thing in Reese’s hair is alot of ratting/back combing. Done to the underneath then laying the top layer of hair over it for volume.
Had this dress been a little broader in the hip area. It would not be puckering against stomach/hip area.
And no I do not think she is pregnant. I would be stunned if she has another baby.

Fantastic colour but those sloppy straps need to go! Along with that scruffy beanpole whose trying to distract from the delectable Waltz!
I like it, yet I wish it were longer to offset the bodice. The color looks fabulous on her.

Every Stella McCartney gown done in that satin/sateen fabric gives very fit, very thin women a ‘baby bump’ appearance. It is the fabric or the fit?

The color coordinates well with her eyes. Her extra bleached blonde hair makes her look younger and somehow refreshed. A big round of applause for Reese’s glam squad!

You either steal from other designers (Leger, McQueen) or you come up with hideous designs in awful colors and fabrics.
