In case you missed it yesterday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet for the morning premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 in Los Angeles. Jolie wore black Michael Kors, Brad wore head-to-toe SAND. It was all lovely. But not as lovely as these photos – apparently, Brangelina brought their older kids to the premiere! Shiloh got done up in a little vest, tie and pants, and she was more dressed up than her dad. I love this little girl. I love that Brad and Angelina are like, “You want to wear a vest and tie to the premiere? Awesome!” Sidenote: Angelina slipped on a comfortable black SACK/poncho!!! Huzzah!
Meanwhile, Maddox is starting to get tall! He’s starting to be a big kid now. Pax is just kind of there (I know he’s a favorite of some commenters, but his style never really impresses me). And my favorite, The Empress, was shooting the stink-eye at everyone. And she was rocking the hell out of some awesome pink booties. I guess all of the kids at the premiere got those little drinks, it was probably some marketing tie-in with the film soon to be seen at Burger King or whatever.
All of the kids were in France with their parents at the Cannes Film Festival, but they weren’t photographed once. Angelina had to confirm her kids’ presences at the KFP 2 press conference: “Yes, we’re all in France. Our whole family is in France, and we’re very happy. They’re running around the hotel now, playing games and making a giant mess! I’m sure they’re having a great time. They love it here.” At the LA premiere, Jolie told Us Weekly that she is able to balance her work and her family life “Like every woman does in life. I think we just take time to do all the things we love. If you love what you do, and I’m very blessed that I love my job, and I love to do charity work and I love to be with my kids, so you find time. I just enjoyed this post and what I like is to see celebs actually holding their children’s hands (the Brangelina clan always does the deed well) not like some celebs who opt for the Nanny all the time.
Well I think they are still jet-lagged. I love Shiloh’s outfit but wow is Zee giving us the biggest Empress side-eye of all time. Maddox is getting so big he’s still such a cutie-pie.

Unless you mean go to Sunday school, I am not sure of the problem. Also, unlike some parents, Brad and Angelina did not let the chldren do the red carpet, just watched the movie, which started around 11am, then left. Normal kiddy time, normal kiddy activity, cute kiddy clothes and not middle of the night dinners in fancy clothes. I like it and Shiloh sure has a full head of very blonde hair–beautiful.

Brad was wearing head to toe sand…so what. As far as I’m concerned he was the best dressed man there. At least he didn’t show up in a tee shirt,jeans and gym shoes like 98% of the OTHER men. And to the posters picking on children…you are really disgusting! Some of you twist like pretzels to find something to insult this couple over.
I personally think Pax is a strikingly sweet and cool seeming of a kid…not the kid that is “just there”. WTH? As someone from a big family myself, those type comments are the exact insecurity that most children in big families feel without anyone actually SAYING it. All the kids are totally gorgeous and unique-seeming, to me. AJ and BP are totally blessed. One thing I have to say: If G. Paltrow said what AJ says here, “if you’re passionate you don’t get exhausted” quote? …there would be a pile on saying “Yeah if you have a cook and nanny and driver and yadda you don’t get exhausted!! What an oblivious snob, yadda yadda to infinity!!”

@jenni here is the difference for me Gwyneth says I am so exhausted it’s so hard I do everything on my own…meanwhile most of what she does is goes to high powered social events where people fawn over her.
Angie does alot more than GOOPY, her UN work, her separate charites, writing and directing her own film, more films, more children. And I have heard her say repeatedly she wouldn’t be able to do it without the help (yes she admits to having nannies), without the money, without Brad.

Yeah, seriously, enough with that “she’s BECOME too thin”. She didn’t. She always were that thin. Starting with her teen modeling days.
The only time she were a bit thinner than usual was in 2007 when her mother died but she got back to her normal weight in a few months. Only noone noticed ’cause by then there already was an established narrative and her being “too thin” became a cliche, a default label to put on every next picture of her.
This practice continues to this day and there are lots of people who can’t look past her thin frame now while they were perfectly happy with it before. It’s a brainwashing at its finest. No matter which perception (before or after) was more honest and authentic in each individual case.
I think we should start a Shiloh Fan Club.

She was not always so thin that the bones of her knees are wider than her upper leg. Nor that her wrist bones are wider than her forearm. Her hands look like those of a 60 year old. That is not normal nor is it the sign of a 34 year old on a healthy diet and exercise regime.
@PSA I think she’s gained weight since last summer when she did the SALT promotions I remember think then she looked seriously underweight. BUT I think she has a tendency to gain weight in her torso, boobs, and butt and not legs or arms which is why we always think she may be pregnant.

there are bikini modeling pictures of a busty Angelina at age 15-16, so it’s clear that she has had no boob job. Real boobs look flattened out or bigger depending on the bra you wear. As others have said, she has always been skinny & long-limbed. In Wanted, her bare butt looks amazing as does her bra & panty clad body in Salt. She was “even skinnier” then, so all the negative commenters should just watch the torture scene in Salt and pretend you are the ones doing the torture- it might help you with your misdirected anger. BTW, if keep watching the movie, you’ll never mock this woman for being frail again- small/skinny people don’t have to be victims!

Angelina is indubitably beautiful, but (thanks for the pics @Praise St. Angie!) she is looking painfully thin. It ages her (she’s still gorgeous as a 45 year old apparently) and it doesn’t look too healthy. You shouldn’t be able to use your elbows or knees to cut an apple.

@Canuck No Angelina doesn’t have a BODY double, Angelina has a STUNT double, who really only tests the stunts before Angelina does them herself. Angelina has never had a problem with nudity and has never used a body double.

Donovan she is dressing like she wants too. I think its great that she knows her parents love and support her as she is. My neighbor didn’t have that -his family called him a sissy and fa**ot because he was feminine.He shot and killed himself days before his 13th bday.As for AJ she is a little skinnier she looks like she did when she was filming Changeling.But if llok at her films she has been skinny for 7-8 years after Lara Croft.I just watched Beyond Borders and she was a little heavier maybe 5-10 lb.As for keeping their kids out of the spotlight they do this is only about the 5 th they have been seen close up this year. The examples you all mentioned have taken public criticism for their weight, and so have the “more than 2 millions of americans 500 lbs+” — or whatever arbitrary statistical info you want to bring in to sink the conversation. Jolie just gets more attention and press, for better or worse.
She definitely has a naturally very thin frame, there’s no denying that. No denying it suits her on most occasions. There are times when she gets too thin and it makes her look like a broken pane of glass; a bunch of people think now is one of those times. And for fornication’s sake… bringing in inaccurate factitude doesn’t help your argument.

I’m not sure why there are people getting defensive about the skinny comments. It’s obvious looking at her that she has some sort of issue with food and/or other that isn’t being dealt with. You would think that as a fan, you might be a bit concerned about her health. She’ll be looking at honeycomb bones in a decade or two if she’s not careful.
To the person who claims that Jolie has had no surgery, she most definitely has had a nose job, that’s obvious from before and after pix. She also seems to have matching scars behind her ears which would indicate some sort of facial work.
The cosmetic surgery argument is hilarious. She looks exactly the same as she did in her teen modeling pix.
Good plastic surgery =s not immediately obvious. Bad plastic surgery =s might as well hang a sign on it: under construction.

I wasn’t going to say anything about the body double thing…but in the articles/sources you provided (the second doesn’t even state that for sure, it’s a question based on a good old National Enquirer gossip), it isn’t said Jolie had a body double in Wanted.
I’m sure she must use one now and then, not because she has problems with nudity (we all know she doesn’t), but because it’s rather common having body doubles for those scenes where it’s not necessary to have the actor/actress in it.
However, that scene in Wanted showing Angelina Jolie’s tiny cute ass features indeed her. They just added more tattoos (for the character) and you can clearly see that’s her weird, SpongeBob SquarePants-like torso.
@Canuck great points. to hazard a guess as to why the angeloonies are going all torch and pitchfork at midnight on those pointing out the obvious about angelina’s weight: they likely identify with her *because* she is dangerously thin.
Well the boob job thing is ridiculous. If she had big boobs in her teens then I say us loons win that argument just because it’s possible to have breast surgery at 15 that doesn’t mean it happened…I do think she had a nose job hell I think I’d be surprised if there were 10 actresses since the 50’s who haven’t had their nose done.
@B: the tip of her nose is thinner and if you compare the profile, it’s also different. So what? She had those invisible braces too, you can see that in some pix. Again, so what? Canuck- really how do you know she has a issue with food. How do you know that she doesn’t have a health issue that makes it difficult to gain or maintain weight. diabetes, hypothryroidism , celiac disease, etc.Oh yeah I forgot you are a doctor , you did a medical evaluation so you know everything, Canuck. Despite Angie’s weight she is able to carry both Zahara and Shiloh through an airport(there are pics), able to do her own stunts, etc . So she is not fragile just skinny. IMO

lately AJ looks terribly skinny, and I realized this seeing her leg in the fourth picture. Now she’s not different from that Victoria Secret’s model – Candice Swansomething – who was on CB’s pages few weeks ago, criticized for being deadly thin.
As for the plastic surgery, if you’re not blinded by love, you’ll see that she has had work done on her face. And now that she’s skinnier and her skin very shiny, the work on her nose, lips (lower lip reduction, upper lip augmentation) and chin is quite obvious. And by the way, I’ve always been very neutral with AJ, my opinions aren’t moved by hatred, so don’t jump on my throat.

Some people are that skinny without having any issue with food or health or anything else. They’re build that way. There is nothing to indicate that AJ isn’t one of them.
She grew up in public eyes and she was always thin – as a kid, as a teen, as a young woman, and as an adult woman. Her legs and arms were always oddly shaped – they’re sort of too long and her gastrocnemii start higher than one would expect which leaves her bones there almost “naked” and her shin looks crazy thin as a result. Every time she wears a skirt that shows her legs below the knee she looks “scary thin” while the higher slit or shorter skirt eliminate that impression because her upper leg looks normal and even better than normal as it’s lean and muscular.
regarding all the skinny comments. Has Brad ever dated a woman who didn’t become painfully thin? Most of his ex-girlfriends are now healthier looking, but for a good duration of their relationship with him, they all became severe looking bobble-heads. I wouldn’t expect Angelina to be the exception to that rule. Brad likes borderline anorexic women.
If, god forbid, they ever separate, I’d expect Angelina to return to a healthier figure, as have all the others.
I loved Angelina’s look at that premiere but this is the first photo I’ve seen of that jacket, and it’s giving her a very amish vibe 🙁

Good god! When this child had her hair cut in an adorable short style that would enable it to stay neat looking and out of her eyes as she engaged in normal kid activity people were screaming about that. Now her hair is growing back and naturally it’s doing all the things that called for a short cut in the first place – falling in her eyes, getting messy every 30 seconds.
She is a KID. Kids need short hair – even girl kids. Most mothers keep their little girls hair long for their own desires & vanity that have nothing to do with the best interests of their little girls. Hair bands, pony tail ties, barrettes all fall out and get pulled out eventually. Are people really suggesting that after Shiloh sat in a theater for 2 hours that Angie or Brad should have fixed her hair before she left to get in the car?
I remember all the women, including me, who fell all over themselves to copy Shiloh’s style after Annie Hall came out. No one called us masculine. We were cute and feminine. In fact we were downright adorable.
I love Shiloh. She sure wants to be one of the boys right now. But, oh, Pax, I have never seen that child comfortable or happy. Sigh.

Angelina Jolie has Explains Why She was So Thin in a Interview in 2007
At the NYC premiere of A Mighty Heart Wednesday night, Jolie, 32, told reporters that the reason she’s been shedding pounds is because she’s been grieving over the death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died of ovarian cancer in January.
“I’ve always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I’ve gone through a lot,” said the actress, who is currently in New York with boyfriend Brad Pitt, 43, and their children, Maddox, 5, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and one-year-old Shiloh.
“I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding – it’s been hard to get my nutrition back on track.”
“Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it’s because I want to fit into skinny jeans.”
She added, “Someone saying to me that I’m thin is not a compliment.”
@Hill. It’s 2011…. um…. that information is at least 4 years old.
She’s not currently grieving (that we know of). She’s not currently breastfeeding (it’s physiologically plausible but highly unlikely).
Unless your comment is meant to point to Angelina having things on her emotional plate, what’s the point of this?

Man, this isn’t rocket science.
1)AJ has always been a thin woman. We all realize that.
2) AJ’s weight can definitely plummet at times though. “Thin” looks different on Ms. Jolie than “bone popping out skinny.”
3) She could simply be someone who is has too much on her plate and may not take care of herself as a result at times. She wouldn’t be the first mom to lose weight out of stress,etc.
4) That doesn’t change the fact that Ms. Jolie currently looks very skinny and boney right now, a look that is distinct from her simply being thin.
5) Skinny boney Angelina can be a little alarming to look at, because it does not exude the very picture of health and vitality that she CAN exude at times. That’s what makes it alarming-cause when she’s at a healthy weight, she looks amazing and vivacious. Don’t kill the messengers for stating the obvious here.

Personally I think the too thin comments are just attacks from haters. She’s always been thin. Pretty often posters don’t realize 5-6 year old photos are being shown and call her anorexic and drug addict. I’m sure the same people saying she needs to gain 10-15lbs are the same people calling her fat after giving brith to the twins. I also find the massive amount of plastic surgery comments laughable, especially saying her lips are fake. Just look at her childhood photos or even her biological kids. I’ve seen Gia and Taken. Angelina doesn’t have implants. If she was high 24/7 do you really think Brad would purposely endanger his kids?

She could have the same weight problem I had when I was her age and weighed 107 lbs at 5’6″ tall. I wasn’t anorexic or bulimic, I just had a small appetite and a metabolism that was off the charts. I had to eat like a horse just to maintain my weight. Urging food on people with this kind of reverse weight problem just turns them off food altogether.
There’s a sure remedy, though. Once you hit middle age your metabolism goes south and your weight goes north. Now I have eat less and less just to stay at 125. I can guarantee Angie will put on at least 15-20 lbs in the next ten years.

her limbs are naturally thin relative to her torso, but she id definitely far skinnier than she was about 6 years ago.
After watching all her films and tons of interviews looking photos I think she hasnt had any work done, but her nose just seems to fluctuate with her weight and makeup. Theres some old interview of her around where her nose is really slim like it is now, then a few months later its bigger, it just goes up and down
oh and in the 1st pic i can definitely see shiloh in angies face, but her brow line is definitely her dads

cheyenne, someone told a friend of mine the same,he was so skinny, but everyone comfoted him saying that… gues what he’s over 44 now and skinny as ever!!!
Angelina, on the other hand… maybe she’ll ain weight as her mom and dad did.
They were thin when young, Jon tall and lanky as she is, and Marcheline in pics seems to have had thin arms too. But later they got a bit of weigt. Marcheline was a beautiful mature woman, she was pretty, but when I see pics of her, I think that her features softened with age. The photos of her, angie and Jacqueline bisset are very nice.

@kasper: Read. I never said these photos were taken 5 years ago. I said that these weight comment are fake because even when old photos are used in new stories haters like you are so quick to bash Angelina, you don’t realize that. So when you make these “she was so much healthier 5 years ago” comments it’s obvious that you just want to attack her.
Considering she was photographed just a week ago I don’t know why people are in a hysteria now and not before. She doesn’t look any different.

I have to agree with firefly comment, Angies weight is really shocking. She is far too thin her bones are jutting through her skin. She was always slim but healthy looking.
This woman needs a lot of help. It’s quite obvious from older photos several years ago that she’s perfectly capable of maintaining a healthy weight. Yes she’s always been thin. No one is suggesting that she’s gone from obese to skinny. People are saying that she’s gone from being thin to being alarmingly malnourished. Even her skin looks sallow and she’s got no color or flush in her face. Something isn’t right. She looks like my mother, who is 52 years old. No offense to my mother (who is also dangerously thin). Honestly, people. Maybe if more fans admitted that she doesn’t look happy/healthy, she’d realize she needs to get help. Ignoring the situation could really harm her, whatever she’s doing. She looks like she’s the great aunt to those children. How can you not see that?

Full confession: I am a former Brangeloonie, turned Angeloonie and currently loonie free.
Looking at Angelina just saddens me to no end. What happened to that vital, vivacious woman who appeared too briefly after her divorce from Billy Bob Thornton? I think Angelina has quite a knack for self sabotage. This pairing with Brad has been the worst thing to happen to her. She went from 1 child at the beginning of 2005 to having 6 children by year end 2008! You know that quote she has tattoed on her belly “quod me nutrit me destruit” (what nourishes me also destroys me)? I fear it has become a self fulfilling prophecy. She wanted this big family but I’m pretty sure she did not imagine it would be under the Brangelina glare. This Brangelina pairing and the constant and unrelenting media attention has been her undoing.
Sadly, I also believe she is back to being a junkie. If you compare pictures of her now to when she was using in the past, they are so similar as to be interchangeable. Someone up thread mentioned that she was already thin when she filmed Girl Interrupted as a comparison to how she looks now. That’s not really a surprise as she was using when she filmed that movie.
I think I finally took the blinders off when I saw an interview she did while promoting The Tourist in Paris. It’s the one where she is wearing a grey dress and she is sitting at a table facing the journalists. Her eyes are blinking very rapidly and she is fidgeting with her watch (bracelet?). Her pupils are also quite dilated. I know there were pictures being taken, but I have seen her in similar situations and she’s been pretty calm. Not only that, she also looks gaunt, like she went on a serious bender. Her appearance during that entire movie promotion was painful to watch.
The pre Brad Angelina was in a good place in her life and it manifested itself physically. She glowed with good health and vitality. Google her red carpet appearances and interviews. She was clear eyed and animated. Now, she looks like someone has sucked all the life out of her and left this brittle, empty shell behind.
I hate to say this but I almost wish Jon Voight would out her publicly again, so she can get the help she so desperately needs.
I do wonder how she feels about being cast as the villain and Brad pretty much being left off the hook. I mean, how many tell all Angelina books have been written in the past couple of years? She definitely has fared the worse of the two of them.

I think she looks happy. Her kids look great. Her man looks like there’s nowhere else he’d rather be. At the end of the day, that’s what matters the most.

@B: I wasn’t claiming extreme plastic surgery, but anyone with eyes can see that she’s had work done on her nose when you compare her profile of then and now. She also has a matching set of scars behind her ears, how would you explain those? They aren’t exactly charming red tattoos.

Recognizing that Angelina has serious on-again off-again issues with weight, does not make anyone a hater. It just means they have eyes.
I don’t know if this denial of her weight issues is delusional, or the weight-deniers simply got their eyes poked out by one of Angelina’s razer- thin shoulders while staring lovingly at her photos.

Actually I dont read tabloids. All I have to do is look at the photos of AJ. She is “scary” skinny,very pale and doesn’t look happy. Even when smiling. That’s what I see. It has nothing to do with whether I like her or not. I don’t know for a fact she is a user and you don’t know for a fact she isn’t.
Hmmm- they didn’t walk the red carpet (unlike the other celebs kids) they were photographed for less than a minute leaving the theater. There is a video. As I said before these kids have had 2 deal with paps less than a dozen times this year as evidenced by the limited number of pics of them. Looking forward to TOL RC can’t wait for all the criticism of their appearance(smile).Skibunny-well I think she looks skinny but she looks happy and her skin and hair look healthy if you watch the videos from Cannes and LA premiere.That’s what I see,reasonable minds can agree to disagree,right.

What does bother me is when you throw a comment out there and someone comes back with an insult because they don’t respect the fact that another can view something differently. Honestly, none of us here knows why Angie has lost weight, but there is nothing wrong with noticing it. It doesn’t mean you like her any less.
