David Beckham confirms that Victoria is pregnant (update: not true)


David Beckham has said that his wife Victoria is indeed pregnant, as all the tabs have speculated:

David just confirmed on the Spanish TV show Gente that his wife, Victoria, is indeed expecting their fourth child, Victoria hasn’t exactly been mum about her desire for a girl.

David was asked by the paparazzi if Victoria was expecting and he said “Si (yes)” and smiled. Look for a news break shortly!

In mid-August, Britain’s Daily Star said that Victoria was pregnant , but they may have been speculating. Victoria and David were open about trying for another child, and they are said to want a girl. They have three boys, Brooklyn, 6, Romeo, nearly 4, and Cruz, one and a half, all born by cesarean section. Victoria has said that if she has a girl she would like to name her “Luna.”

Here are pictures of Victoria out with her girlfriends looking wasted on 8/22. Let’s hope she didn’t know she was pregnant at that point, and that she’s taking her fish oil now. Her body doesn’t look capable of holding up her head, not to mention nurturing a child.

Update People Magazine is reporting that Beckham didn’t understand the question, and merely said “Si” when asked. Their rep says Posh isn’t pregnant:

A source tells PEOPLE that Beckham, who plays for the Real Madrid soccer team, was signing autographs and simply misunderstood what the female paparazzo was asking. He thought she was asking, in Spanish, how Victoria and the babies are, when in fact was asking how Victoria and the new baby are doing.

Despite the latest reports, Victoria and David Beckham are not expecting another child. “She’s not pregnant,” a rep for the couple tells PEOPLE. “It’s as simple as that.”

    Hm.. there are still some doubts about her being pregnant. the way he confirm it didn’t seem quite official to me and she doesn’t look one bit pregnant on those photos. I can’t quite figure out how she can nurture a child with that anorexic body of hers but she seems to be popping them out without fail. if she’s preg, I hope they finally have a girl. can you imagine her shopping for a girl?

    well damn,there are only so many ways of asking if somebody’s pregnant…
    tendra un hijo?
    esta emabarazada?
    esta preñada?
    esta encinta?
    andddd embarazada is misunderstood by english speaking people as embarassed..maybe he confused tendra (future tense) with tiene (present tense) :S still it’s weird…
