There’s some buzz over photos of Heidi Klum looking almost emaciated in a curiously cut turquoise dress, to put it nicely. In these photos, on ICYDK, you can see Heidi’s protruding rib bones and very thin arms. In other photos, the ones we have here, Heidi looks thin but normal. She seems a bit thinner than she usually looks but it’s not alarming or anything. Remember when Heidi gave advice about aging to not be “too thin, and have a little meat on your bones“? That’s obviously relative in her business. Heidi explained in Self magazine last fall that “being gaunt in the face… makes you look older by 5 or 10 years.” Heidi has been running this summer and blogging her progress on a new lifestyle website she’s launched, so that’s possibly why she’s dropped some weight.
To me the real story is this God awful draped turquoise dress she’s wearing at the amfAR Inspiration gala in New York. She was there to help honor Project Runway judge Michael Kors, and it’s safe to assume this dress is his design. I couldn’t find this exact dress in his Fall collection, but it looks like several other low-cut draped pieces he’s designed. At least she chose this dress with a skirt and not the version with harem pants. Heidi also wore a similarly questionable Kors outfit in April, a tan belted jumpsuit with a low-cut front. She was just as thin then I see.
Also at the AMFAR gala was Ke$ha looking drunk in usual and in need of a hairbrush, shampoo and some pants. I can’t hate on a girl who makes the best workout music ever though. (RPM #47 and #48 FTW!)
Jennifer Hudson wore a tight white dress and earned that Weight Watchers money. She looks amazing.
Beth Ostrosky is just too busy in that dress. That print is best for an accent piece or a small surface area, not an entire dress. What’s going on at the crotch area? It’s got a trompe l’oeil chastity belt.
Supermodel Alek Wek with Italian ballet dancer Roberto Bolle. That dress is too low on her chest, not to mention the design. It looks like it’s unraveling.
Courtney Love brought the Cray-cray in a Miss Havisham number. She performed at the show.
And Olivia Palermo takes the fug cake in this puffed polka dot mullet dress with a beige jacket. I don’t know who she is, but I guess she was in The City.

nah, heidi looks fine. not TOO thin. maybe she lost a little weight for her show to keep up with these young superhot models she has been promoting on Germanys next top model which season just wrapped up.

that being said, I like Keshas hair. the color and the undone look really suits her. just those shortshorts are not the best choice. 🙁

The polka dot dress would have looked nice if it didn’t look like she got the front part caught in her underwear after using the bathroom like a toddler.
Yea Heidi looks normal to but wow there was a lot of bad fashion. I love that polka dot puff dress. Its sooo pretty. Olivia should have worn it without that shawl thing. OMG Alex Wek is sooo lucky, boy she is with is hawt. Where can I get one of those?
Was this a competition as to who could wear the ugliest dress, because that is the real story here. I have never seen such bad dressing in one place, though Hudson looks good, from the ankle up.
J Hud’s dress is the only one I like. Heidi does look too skinny & her dress is fug. Kesha’s legs do look tone tho.
JHud is skinnier than Beyonce now. Every time I see her she looks thinner and thinner!

Jennifer Hudson looks amazing. I hope she doesn’t lose anymore weight though. She doesn’t need to. Heidi looks ok. Love her hair and makeup. The rest of them…eh or yuck!

I have no idea how women with good bodies, cash to spend and access to the best designers always end up looking so cheap and ridiculous. I do appreciate them giving me cause to point and laugh, however.

Jennifer Hudson is not meant to be THAT thin, you can see it in her face. It’s just not a natural weight for her. I guess Hollywood finally got in her head.
I think she looks a little thinner, but not bad. I think the one of her back makes her look worse than she is. Beth seems to be as thin but we didn’t hear anything about her weight. She runs as well. Running will definately do it to ya.
It’s the dress all over. I kinda get what Heidi was going for but all that draping makes her look like a sorority sister wearing a sheet at a toga party.

Jennifer Hudson looks like the best dressed all in all. Courtney Love never surprises me any more though I think every time she goes out in public like that she’s doing a disservice to her poor daughter.
I love Heidi, but for a model she has not much taste in clothes, off the catwalk her outfits don’t impress me.

I totally agree with velourazure…JHud’s face is starting to looked wacked. That is really too bad. 10lbs ago she looked awesome and healthy, not she is looking in desperate need of a meal. Why do these celebs go overboard? It really is too bad. She is such a pretty girl with a ton of talent.

Argh. I can’t get over the huge flaps of skin on the sides of Jennifer Hudson’s mouth. I know its from people who lose alot of weight in their face and its extra skin flap but god it makes her face look so ugly like big old wrinkles. And NO it is not dimples. I wish she would gain some weight so that she could restore her face.
Roberto is the best looking in this series of pics, bar none.

I like JHud’s dress, and I’d like for Heidi to go away. It seems that one of these days her nose will fall off. It has looked awful for the past few years, but now with that extra weight loss it’s plain scary.
Didn’t Heidi just have a baby 6 months ago or something? She’s just lost that weight (as always, she’s a RUBBER BAND) and now looks thinner by comparison.

Sometimes people have visible rib bones. It doesn’t always mean they are too thin. They might just not gain weight on that part of their body.
I’m 5’4″ and use to be 95 pounds when I was younger and poor etc. Decade later and I am the same height but 120 pounds. 36,26,36 and you can still see my ribs, especially on my chest. I just don’t seem to put on weight around my rib cage, collarbone and shoulder area.
Heidi looks fine to me. J.Hud on the other hand, looks terrible. She needs some of her curves back.

Heidi looks fine! I am 5’6″ and 130 lb and wear a 27inch waist jean..I would say I am slender but for sure not “skinny skinny” and my ribs are visible on the back side as well.

She needs to stop loosing weight stat and get more balanced, I know it’s difficult when you’ve lost so much weight to find the right balance , so as this is still new for her hopefully she’ll find a good equilibrium soon.

I have never seen anyone look as fab in a tight white dress as JHud does here. Yowza! She looks healthy, fit, and curvaceous.
I’m built the same. My upper body can look ‘wasted’ while my lower is aok. I am not too thin. 5’10 and 138. Just the way my body decides to be uneven. LOL.
JHud’s face has that Im on steroids look. ewll.
Heidi is thin but ‘wide’…can fit sideways through a crack in the wall but a fine size 8 from the front.
Heidi is also lik 5’10-5’11 if I believe.
Gwyneth is WIIIDDEE but sideways thin as well. They know how to pose.
A lot of these women look best right after pregnancy. Tells you a lot about how underweight they are. Heidi looked amazing on the runway right after her pregnancy. She amazingly had no tummy but had curves in all the right places. So did Angelina after having the twins. Her People magazine cover with the twins was probably one of her best ever. She was firm and her face was glowing. Now she looks skeletal!
Heidi isn’t too thin, imo, but her back muscles are softening-sagging a little. Hudson looks great but she’s got enuf $ & should buy shoes that fit. Alek W is scary skinny – chest like a little boy. Why does anybody ever invite Courtney to anything? Waiting to see if she’ll od or fall off the stage, or the barstool? She’s a nasty looking mess.

I occasionally even see an *overweight* woman with those visible rib-bones. I think it may have something to do with lack of muscle mass in the area since you don’t so much see this on men unless they are super scary skinny.

Perhaps all white’ is meant to mean completely white’, not every white’. Which still leaves the possibilities that someone would have a completely white bike for other purposes, or that particular bike may actually be intended for use as a ghost bike at some point.
