Kristen Stewart went out last night and supported a friend and colleague, which surprised me. Director Chris Weitz (who directed Kristen in New Moon) has a new film out called A Better Life, and it premiered last night at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Kristen isn’t in the film, she didn’t produce it and it seems like she just came out to support Weitz. Nice. I’m not really sure what to make of her outfit, though. I actually think she looks very pretty – her hair color is gorgeous, and she looks great in navy, but the whole skinny-jeans-rolled-up, with high heels…? Eh. Still, I guess I should give her credit for putting in some effort and not going overboard, considering it wasn’t her premiere.
Anyway, you know that there’s a scandal! It looks like K-Stew’s beloved, Robert Pattinson, was not in attendance. He’s working on a film in Toronto, and those are the breaks. If it was just two people being in different cities, it would be a meh story. The scandalous part is who else was at the LA premiere – Kristen’s On The Road costar and friend Garrett Hedlund.
Now, Garrett has no affiliation with Chris Weitz or A Better Life. He came out merely, I think, to hang out with his “friend” Kristen. They also hung out together in London just a few weeks ago, when Kristen was separated from her beloved Sparkles. At that London event, they even posed (as much as K-Stew “poses” given her terrible posture) together:
So… the Twihards want to know: is Kristen boning Garrett behind Sparkles’ back? Or perhaps Kristen and Garrett are just friendly colleagues who like to hang out and get high together? I’d like to think Kristen and Garrett have something going on. Just because it’s more fun that way.

OMG I think Kristen looks soo cute here. I love everything she is wearing and her makeup and hair are stunning. It looked like a pretty casual event so I think she looks amazing.

Heck she is what 20 years old. Do her fans really think this is it. That she won’t have other relationships before she settles down. She is still very young.

She looks really good…She often looks tired as hell and here she looks refreshed and sober…The Garrett thing is ridiculous though, there are a lot of people at the LA Film Festival…What’s more interesting to me is that there are rumors about his sexuality.

Very cute but I don’t know … maybe a different jean would have been better. Don’t get me wrong … gorgeous and she looks comfortable but I think for a permiere maybe go a little bit dressier? We’d all wear that outfit (sans high heels) to the grocery store. On the other hand I’ve often gone more casual to parties because my skin itches when I’m all dolled up and I think anyone is prettier when they are comfortable.

It’s too casual but this is the happiest, most comfortable and prettiest I have ever seen KS. I’d bet anything that she was all made up, hair done etc. and when she was dressed she hated how she looked and how she felt in the dress and said “I don’t wanna wear this and I’m not going”, and after all the “You have to go” etc. she said: “Ok, I’m going, and I’ll keep the shoes but I’m wearing THIS, fuck it.”

She looks comfortable and more in her element than when she’s all dolled up. Her hair and make up look gorgeous and she’s smiling. As she wasn’t at all involved with the film, I think it’s ok she’s this casual. Makes it clear it’s not about her.

@Nina I’ve heard that too about Garret (gay). Taylor Lautner was also there hanging out w Kristen so my theory is that Kristen wanted to hook her two friends up! It’s possible….
I think she looks great and I love the whole look. Her face looks beautiful. It was nice of her to support Weitz.

Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund are in a movie together coming out this fall (On the Road). Hedlund is going to different award shows to be introduced by his co-stars: Micheal Sheen, Kstew, Olivia Wilde. Taylor Lautner was also at the premiere and he isn’t boning Stewart either. There is no gossip here-unfortunately. I don’t like sparkles but I think they are set for now.

I like the Garrett/Kristen pairing better, too, mainly because I think all Kristen and Rob really have in common is Twilight, and as that is approaching the end, I think they’ll begin to see their relationship was born of proximity and convenience and they’ll split up. It’s like normal people dating the first cute boy you meet in the freshman dorm, then realizing during sophomore year that there are other boys out there. Don’t get me wrong, I think Rob and Kristen are cute together, I just don’t think they have all that much in common, once you take working together six months out of every year away.
As for her outfit–she’s dressed perfectly. This premiere is at the LA Film Festival, which is pretty casual, especially if it’s not your night. She went to support Chris Weitz, which is a nice gesture, but she knew her attendance alone would suck up a lot of attention, so she dressed down. She looks clean and put together but not showy–that’s enough for a guest.

It doesn’t matter what she wears, she always looks like she slept in her clothes, ie in need of a shower.
I find Kristen gross.
Maybe it’s her facial expression of ‘I can’t be f-ked being here’. When I see her face, I just want to slap her and tell her to be thankful. It’s not like she’s the next Elizabeth Taylor or Meryl Streep. I doubt she’ll be making anything credible in her thirties.
She just looks so up herself.

I don’t think it’s too casual, the LAFF is a casual festival to begin with, and it’s not her movie and she’s a big name there. So you dial it down more. She looks very pretty, her heels don’t really go with the look though.
If she was boning garrett behind sparkles back too, that would be super hot. lol

A single Rob is fine by me but I also want him to be happy so I’m fine either way. It’s really hard to imagine someone moving from Rob to Garrett but as the world has shown some things don’t make sense and sometimes certain women just don’t feel as if they are worthy of the men they have so they find lesser so it’s easier to deal. I don’t know why.

She would look good even with a potato sack,that’s how lovely she is.What i noticed though is that, every time she’s gonna see Garrett in any event ,she seems to make an effort to fix herself up a bit,the hair are all wash and made up,the make up is perfect,and most of all ,the smile came out naturally without trying,wazz up Kstew?
