Beyonce did a new interview with Piers Morgan, and I have no idea when it aired (or whether it has aired yet). But I did find a cute clip where Beyonce is talking about turning “30” this year (ha!!) and how she “always said I’d have a baby at 30… I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don’t know. Who knows? I’m not retiring.” When Piers presses her on the baby question, Beyonce hedges and says “Only God knows.” For goodness sake, Bey! It’s like the Jennifer Aniston thing all over – if you don’t want to talk about babies, don’t talk about babies. If you don’t want to have a baby, don’t. But Beyonce has spent YEARS playing this “Maybe it will happen next year” baby game. I feel like she just doesn’t want to admit to her fans that she’s not ready to take time out from her career to become a mom, because all of the baby-obsessed women will freak out.
Yeah, the part about how happy she is to turn 30 is interesting: “I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.” It’s funny, considering it really seems like she was in her 20s for 14 years. I remember when it felt like she was 27 years old for three years straight. Maybe that was just my imagination. Or maybe she’s already 30-something?

Wasn’t it rumored that a Texas Department of Health produce official records of Beyonce’s birth which allegedly stated that she was born to Tina and Matthew Knowles in 1974 which would make her “37″ years old not “29″.

Uhhhh Beyonce hasn’t played any baby game. People seem to want Beyonce to be pregnant and Beyonce is just trying do her own thing but people keep saying over and over she is pregnant. Truthfully its no ones business but if Beyonce would have said no comment or something people would have bitched and moaned about that. So seriously cut the woman some slack.
There is a huge difference between Beyonce and Jen. Jen is getting past child bearing age while Bey still has some years to have child. Bey is married, Jen isn’t and hasn’t been in a serious relationship until now it seems. So their situations are totally different.

It´s apparently expected of women to be crazy about babies and want nothing more than to have one. I think that´s the reason she keeps bringing it up, to emphasize how ´normal´ she is and how she and Jay are just any old couple. But obviously, they´re not, and Bey is not stupid. She knowns she´s gonna have to take time off when she gets pregnant and will never be able to devote the same amount of time to her career. And I think that in the end, her career is really all that matters to her. Not that that´s a bad thing, though. It´s really none of anybody´s business what she does with her life, babies or no babies.
A sidenote: OMG look at those old photos of her in the linked article about the last time she spoke about having babies. I never noticed before how obvious her nose job is!

For some reason (I dont know why) I googled it, and there are two different birth dates floating around. One says she was born 1981 the other on says she was born in 1974. I dont know what´s more likely, but I also have the feeling she is in her 20s for the last two decades.

She doesn’t look 30 at all. It’s sad that she can’t admit she doesn’t want kids. If the age rumors are true then she’s gettin up to the point that it will be difficult to get preggo. Being a mom isn’t for every woman. Some women want kids and love being moms and others aren’t interested I think she’s worried about what people will say if she admits being a mom isn’t her cup of tea.

I think people who want her to have a baby already, think that since she has been with the same man for the past 12 years, since Jay Z is 13 years older, since he has talked at times that he would love to have a baby with her, because of all of these, it’s legitimate for people to have those baby talks related to her.

Belle Epoch…ummm please don’t use mediatakeout for any celeb info. They are wrong about 99.99% of things that they report. And they make stories up. This is also the same site that has reported Beyonce was pregnant several times.
I don’t particularly care for her music style or her, BUT she’s harmless. The stuff about her age is nonsense. I think Bey won’t admit that she doesn’t want kids because she doesn’t have an original thought in her body. Maybe if Kelly, Michelle, or Latavia (former Destiny Child members) have a kid then Bey will have to trump them and have twins. That’s the only vibe I get from Beyonce’s character. When Destiny’s Child first came on the scene, her reps (her skeezy dad!) bumped up her age to make her seem older – thus more mature – in order to set them apart from the younger poptarts. She was 26 from around 1999 till she got married to JayZ a few years ago!

A friend of mine has a theory that Jay Z can’t have children. It is pretty odd considering his age and status that he doesn’t have one or two baby mamas out there. In any case, I hate the “baby” questions. Unfortunately it’ll follow her the rest of her career (like with Oprah.) I’m 30 and have no interest in having a child. There’s nothing wrong with that.

#42, Jay-Z does have an illegitimate child that he has acknowledged but the child does not get papped and has spent time with him and Beyonce. Beyonce has a dead behind the eyes look and barely graduated high school. Now she is someone with a great PR team and such. I’m not as cynical about celebs as others but I don’t believe that she is that articulate or independent.
She is were she is because of her Dad and her mom’s support and her relationship with Jay-Z. Destiny’s Child was almost a one hit wonder in the R&B world.
She works hard but is very narrow in scope.

She will not have kids for years. She is too career focused for that. Nothing wrong with that. It pisses me off hearing other women judge others for their career and family choices. The guilt kills me.
My own mother told me she is a better mother than I am. My grandmother guilts me because I have to put my youngest two with a baby sitter. I gave up a career as a lawyer and became a teacher because the hours and holidays are better. If Bey wants to wait, or hire a team of nannies, or if she wants to quit let her. Don’t judge her because it’s one thing as women we don’t need.

Well … unfortunately for Beyonce, there is (or rather, was) the little matter of something called the Texas Birth Index, an official record which until recently was open to the public and online — and it clearly showed her as having been born in 1974, to parents of the same name as her parents. I saw it myself. So she’ll be 37 this year: not too old to have a baby, but definitely seven years later than she’d planned.
