Reese Witherspoon has turned down an offer to star in another installment of the cutesy “Legally Blonde” series. The third Legally Blonde film will be set in London, and there is no word yet who will star as Elle Woods. One thing’s for sure, it will go straight to video:
Witherspoon has reportedly turned down the offer for this film, choosing instead to do a small biopic about a country singer.
Earlier, around the release of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, she was in talks to star in the third film of the series, which was expected to be set in London
The film-makers are however mum as to who will replace Witherspoon, and whether “Legally Blonde 3″ will be set in London or not.
According to Moviehole, this movie will join the league of MGM’s other direct-to-video sequels, including “Species 4,” and “WarGames 2″.
That’s not surprising. Now that Reese has won an Oscar she’s really grown past making another “Legally Blonde,” although I thought the first two were cute and would watch another one.
Reese is currently starring in the dark comedic fable “Penelope,” in which she plays a cooky best friend to Christina Ricci, whose character copes with a family curse that left her with the nose of a pig.
Here are Reese and Christina at the premiere of “Penelope” at the Toronto film festival. Whatever issues Reese may have had with her weight, she seems to have conquered them because she looks fabulous now.

I’ll bet she is hotter then you are! I think she is great. She is a wonderful mother and she has a hot husband. Ryan Phillipe wouldn’t be with her if she wasn’t way hot.

I don’t love Reese but she’s FAR from being fat! Get a grip! I think she looks best she’s ever looked here. Great dress too. I’m not surprised she won’t do another Legally Blonde. She’s probably at pains to distance herself from it now (much like Aniston wants everyone to forget Rachel Green). I only wish she’d drop this fake, sugar-sweet, southern twang (according to people who’ve seen her in person, she turned it off after the awards season). That desire to cover her ambition and drive with over-the-top cuteness is the only thing that irritates me about her.

LB3 is going to be starring Sara Paxton as Elle Woods, according to her manager, TJ Stein (check on the last name spelling), and some other dude, who both accidently leaked this to a room full of people at an audition I went to. Haha, oops.

NO! legally blonde is nothing without Reese. I dont know about you but I was inspired by these movies. Who better to play the part than Reese, she beautiful, blonde, hot, skinny, and she has the right kind of personality to film them. Plus she has the best putfits in those movies, omg i would die for those outfits. OMG! i am like crying, i wont see the next one if she is not in it. If you can read this Reese, please change your mind.
