Well do I have to state the obvious about the fertility issues? Not just of SJP but of Nicole Kidman and others. These emaciated actresses wait until 40′s to have a baby….well you can’t do it like that. Either gain the weight or start earlier. DERRRRRRR. There is an abnormally high rate of infertility in Hollywood…gee, I wonder why?

I’m torn. I like SJP on some level – I don’t think she is pretty however….and she is too sinewy here, even in her face. What is this Vogue Spread, wtf? Babies as accessories in a fashion shoot? ICK. Seems like a last grasp at fame…do they get paid for those shoots? Between that and all her hair care commercials, she is making a fortune. And it’s women eating it up, it would never sell to men.

@Jana: Why don’t you read her Vogue interview from May 2010? (There’s a link to Kaiser’s article about it here too). She says it herself in that interview that she hadn’t seen her daughters in over 2 months. Quote: “I haven’t seen my daughters for almost two months, with the exception of Skype, and I have to tell you. I never felt like this.”

Usually when couples, such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, use a surrogate, they are very careful to point out that it’s a gestational surrogate but SJP and Matthew Broderick never made that distinction, so my assumption is that SJP is not the biological mother. Not surprising, given SJP’s fertility issues and age.

As for Matthew, I don’t think he’s gay. He’s made the headlines a few times with his affairs, and they’ve always been with women half his age (http://tinyurl.com/5h27ha and http://tinyurl.com/67pywhh).

Kim, a surrogate carried their babies. I think she’s the biological mother, but I could be wrong. I never judge her as a mother. And I highly doubt as CB mentioned, that she didn’t see her twins for two months. I just don’t believe that. One thing about Sarah Jessica Parker, she lives a normal life in New York walking around with her kids. I think she seems like a great mom and grounded and a great wife, actually. But she was so adorable and quirky cute in SATC when I watch reruns, but lookswise, as she’s aging, just not the same. Though her body is still great. I like her in the maxi and blazer.

I keep waiting for Matthew to come out of the closet one day.

If I were her I would strictly prohibit any closeups. Her son is a cutie but what’s with the Amish hat? Mathew seems to be there just to please her but he does not look happy.In this case photoshop is her friend.

Love Sarah but find it odd she chose to adopt 2 babies and didnt take a few yrs off to focus on them? Im not saying mothers should stop working but most work because they HAVE to and Sarah has the luxury of not working. Find it a bit selfish – my opinion.

Carrie character was ALWAYS into shoes and clothes. Certainly the product placement became more and more but shoes & fashion was always, from episode 1, a HUGE part of Carries character.

I’m guessing Matt doesn’t get much sex and isn’t allowed to cheat so he’s like a neutered dog and not happy about it. Sex has a tendency to fall by the wayside after marriage and children and with SJP’s career, birthday sex is all that’s on the table. boo hoo Love SJP but she has emasculated her husband and it shows. Cute kid.

have never seen sex and the city so have no idea what her acting is like – she is not a pretty woman and she seems to have terrible taste in clothes – she looks better with her hair up and away from her face since she has a long horsey-type face.
