Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Latest Style Statement: A Target Handbag

Sarah Michelle Gellar showed up at New York’s Fashion Week carrying not a designer handbag, but rather, a Target shopping bag as her purse. I think she may have just started the next trend in handbags here. It’s chic, it’s cheap, and it’s disposable. It’s a Target shopping bag! They’re not just for lining your wastebaskets anymore!

However, something tells me you have to a be celebrity to pull this look off. If I ever went out with a Target bag holding all my shizz, people would probably think I didn’t own a real purse.

  1. God I love that girl. The Grudge was a steaming pile, but she’ll always be the hard-hitting, wise-cracking Buffy Summers to me.

    Even with the bag.

  4. It’s a new trend - seriously - called
Targèt Couture. You can find overpriced Target-esque stuff at places like Intuition. Here’s an example: http://www.shopintuition.com/product.asp?pid=13124&catid=30&parentid=19&WebCategoryParentID=8&onCategoriesPage=1

Now, why anyone would want to LOOK like they shop at Target, I don’t know.

  5. Sarah Michelle Gellar Loves Target!…

Contrary to popular belief, Mike and I aren’t surprised that Sarah Michelle Gellar loves Target. Instead of bringing a fancy Gucci purse to fashion week in NYC, she sported a plastic bag from Target bag!

Why aren’t we surprised? Because ou…

  6. I think she’s just carrying this BIG bag to cove up the fact that she’s pregnant. I kinda hope she is. what a cute little family her and Freddy and baby would make. But what really gets me is that Her BLOG says she was born in 1977 making her 29 years old. That kinda dosen’t sound right. I mean Charisma Carpenter (played Cordelia Chace on BUffy and Angel) is 36 and she looks a LOT younger than Sara. Who knows.
