Ugh, there are still a million stories about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. For a quick recap of our previous stories: Marc was crazy, controlling and jealous of Jennifer’s fame; Marc wanted Jennifer to be a more conservative wife-type, and he hated when she wore sexy clothes; and Jennifer was such an insecure wreck that her mom emailed Ben Affleck to get HIS advice on what Jennifer should do. Now for the eleventy billion other stories:
*Jennifer went to the Ukraine on Tuesday to perform at a private wedding. She got paid $1 million and she arrived with a gigantic entourage and stayed at the best penthouse suite. Sources say she was in a good mood, she was nice to everyone, she signed autographs and “smiled a lot.” When she performed at the wedding, she said, “Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!”
*Jennifer wanted to dump Marc as far back as Christmas 2010. They also stopped having sex, because Marc is obsessed with his fancy trainsets, and he would lock himself in his gigantic train room. Oh, and Marc was jealous of Jennifer’s relationship with Steven Tyler.
*Marc cheated on Jennifer with a stewardess he met on a private plane. A source tells Us Weekly, “Marc and Jennifer almost split up over it. Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay. They went to marriage counseling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved.” Sources also claim that “Marc go out without his wedding ring and flirt with women in clubs in NYC and Las Vegas.”
*Also, Marc was a horrible businessman and he made terrible decisions acting on behalf of Jennifer. Marc was responsible for Jennifer firing Benny Medina (the man who developed Jennifer’s career), and Marc was pissed when Jennifer hired Benny back. A source says: “Marc has always been a dominating husband. He wants to control everything Jennifer does, including her career. Jennifer feels like she hit her lowest point careerwise because of Marc’s decisions. Marc was the king of bad decisions, but you couldn’t say no to him or it would cause a big fight.”
*He was a crappy father, a source says: “She’s a really hands on mom — so loving and nurturing while he seemed to feel bothered by [their twins].”
*Marc is “aloof and visibly sad” in the wake of the split. Sources say that behind-the-scenes of his concert in Colombia, “He didn’t allow anyone to talk to him or anyone to come to his dressing room. The people who worked with him said he was a little bit upset, so because of that, they tried to keep everybody from him.” When he wasn’t performing, he just stayed in his hotel room and ordered room service.
Do you think this is the end? It’s not. This is going to go on for a while, especially when Jennifer gets a new boyfriend. Which should be happening any minute.

I don’t know where all these stories are coming from. Even if they are true, its in very bad taste to dish the personal details of your relationship to the media. Either she is that concerned with her image, or he reall f**ked her over, and this is payback.
Let’s face it, this divorce is the best decision she’s ever made in her entire career. Just last year, nobody cared about jLo anymore, and look what happend now! We’re all back talking about her!

If it is Marcs fault for the split I think it’s sad that JLO wants a pity party, I would have more respect for her if she handled her split like Sandra Bullock did hers but I guess she needs people to feel sorry for her because she has to seem more likeable to the public after her 3rd marriage and diva attitude she needs it.

I have really mixed feelings about this whole thing, if the stories she is reporting are true then good for her for getting out; no one deserves to have a crappy partner in life. HOWEVER whether she realizes it or not she perpetuating some very bad Latin man stereotypes. I have even seen commenters on here using those cliches, which IMHO is incredibly sad and moronic. They may be Latino but they are Puerto Ricans, from new york no less so its not like they are fresh off the island. An island that is commonwealth of the United States that has things like Target, Hoe Depot and the citizens receive ALL the benefits of being US citizens.

She, (her people, PR person) have accused this man of everything short of child abuse. If any of this is coming from her camp, it might end up being a bad move on her part. You don’t denigrate the father of your children in this fashion in public, no matter what he did to you because he is going to be in the children’s lives and therefore her life forever.

The only thing I don’t believe is that Guadalupe emailed Ben the rest is quite believable. I think he will have a fit if ever he sees her with someone else. Can you believe the mother decided to meddle (that’s what she’s doing) in Affleck’s life? Daily Mail article said MA was too controlling and poor little Jenny from the Block (who, let’s face it, knows a thing or fifty about being controlling) just couldn’t take it anymore. Actually, I think Jlo is a talented actress. She’s done a couple of really good films. She was a great dancer in her prime, but I hate her singing. And why does she always squint? I hope she doesn’t think it makes her look sexy. Or maybe she just needs glasses.

JLo has a string of broken engagements behind her, and is now getting divorced for the THIRD time. That’s hardly the track record of someone who has a clue about commitment or compromise.
We’re talking about a woman who literally pushes people aside — Mary Louise Parker to talk to Prince William and Marc’s previous wife to snag Marc for herself, to name just a couple of examples — to achieve her goals.
I’m really starting to dislike JLo. I’m sure that she and Marc both made their share of mistakes in this marriage, yet JLo’s so eager to make herself look good that she’s willing to launch a smear campaign against Marc. She needs to remember that the man she’s throwing under the bus is the father of her children.

I just watched part of the J Lo E! True Hollywood Story yesterday and they said that she fired Benny Medina while she was with Ben, and sued him for taking millions that she didn’t think he was entitled to. That was WAY before she hooked up with Marc, so it’s ridiculous that she’d blame him for that. In fact, Medina’s response was: “Jennifer Lopez, by making false allegations against me, is now trying to add me to the long list of people whom she has used and discarded after she took from them all she could get … I look forward to the opportunity to have the world come to know the real Jennifer Lopez.” I don’t think Marc was the best husband, and maybe he was controlling, but he did seem to adore her (God only knows why), and I think it’s really tacky to use the media to blame everything on him. Seems like that’s her MO to protect her image though, since she doesn’t have any real talent to actually keep her in the spotlight.
Wait now, Kaiser. Didn’t JL fall out with Benny Medina when she was still with Ben Affleck? She addressed it in her interview on Dateline, which you posted yesterday. Nit-picking, sure and I’m not a fan of Marc Anthony, but let’s not blame him for EVERYTHING.
The guy with Us Weekly was on The View, and he showed a great cover shot of JLO and said Marc put the kibosh on it and said it was too sexy for a mother of two at forty. He said it took like six months to get approval for then to use it on another cover because of Marc’s interference.
And now because of Idol, Jlo’s career has taken off again. Surprise, she has a big hit off her album and her album is selling well. She will tour. She’s doing a movie. Her huge career drive is back now and she’s over Marc. Let’s face it, with two kids, a Latin husband who wants her around a lot, and a career-driven woman traveling all over, it was going to happen, the breakup. I believe they are throwing some of this stuff out there about Marc and long-suffering JLO, because JLO doesn’t want the jokes about her fast marriges.

I think, she has wright not to hide, what was wrong in their relationship, and when children grow up, they should know the reasons for the divorce of their parents. I mean, I would like to know the trueth and from both sides, her and him. All of this just makes BOTH of them seem like complete skunks; Marc the unfaithful, abusive, train-obsessed control freak, and JLo, the immature, mud-slinging, image-obsessed control freak whose PR team seems to be in overdrive dishing all of their dirty laundry for the kids to read in the future.

Years ago, when the tabloids were doing that “baby watch” thing that they do with new couples, JLo was photographed somewhere with her grey roots showing and the tabs speculated that she was pregnant since she obviously wasn’t dyeing her hair. Her reps stated at the time that she wasn’t pregnant just busy and that she has been grey since her late teens or early 20s.
Either they are both on heroin or they are both baked out of their gourds.
