No, she doesn’t. This photoshoot gives her press.

  2. mia girl says:

I saw a great trailer for the Devils Double last weekend… it really seems as if Dominic Cooper pulled it off. I want to see.

  3. antisara says:

Well, at least he dumped you before getting hitched and having offspring…and you got attention from the break-up, so always look for the silver lining…not the first or last douche you’ll come across, kiddo.

  4. brin says:

She probably doesn’t regret flipping the bird at the pap though.

  5. jane says:

Read somewhere that celebs should never grace the covers or pages of mags before the wedding in wedding dresses; most end up not getting married or divorce shortly after. Some sort of curse I read?

  6. Truthful says:

Pls beleive everyone is laughing at her and she wishes it would all go away.

    what person wouldn’t be cringing.

I wonder since he called it off, did she get to keep the ring??

  7. Bitchbelying says:

lmaoooo. smh. I should feel bad, but eh, I don’t.

  8. Quest says:

Maybe just a faint reminder that your fiance broke off the engagement…nothing to regret here.

  9. lucy2 says:

It does seem to happen that way, jane! Never a good idea, but I guess when clinging to a little scrap of fame, a wedding dress photoshoot is like hitting the jackpot.

  10. Hmmmmm says:

I don’t feel bad about this at all. If you’ve ever heard of a little thing like Karma, you know she had this coming. She’s not a nice person.

  11. Calli Pygian says:

Re: Amy Winehouse/ withdrawl… went to CDAN. Yes, ppl CAN die from unmonitored withdrawl.

Lethal cardiac arrhythmias and/or seizures are likely when someone so worn nutritionally by their disease goes cold turkey without support.

And re: AW’s mom’s quote about tapering with ETOH, IDK ’bout the UK’s methods, but here ppl are safely withdrawn using benzodiazepines (like Ativan/lorazepam)as agent of choice.

That said, she sure was a mess recently (see recent European concert footage), so it is a coin flip on cause until tox reports are in.

It is so sad. She was such a freakin’ phenomenal talent. It just saddens me so.

  12. Kirsten says:

In regards to the Amy W. thing, you can most definitely die from alcohol poisoning. In my rehabilitation class we learned that Alcohol is one of the hardest addictions to get over right behind meth and heroin. It also has one of the most deadly withdrawal effects. Her dying of this is completely plausible except i don’t know if that would show up in an autopsy or if the toxicology reports can determine that. No matter the cause this is just sad.

  13. dread pirate cuervo says:

Alcohol is the only substance that can cause death from quitting cold turkey. Not even heroin is like that. I met a guy in recovery who was told to keep drinking while waiting for a bed to open up in rehab. His liver count was like 700. He was on the verge of organ failure, but it would’ve been too great a shock to his system to just stop without medical supervision.

  14. 4Real says:

Nothing a LOT of photoshop can’t cure.

  15. Cherry Rose says:

@dread pirate cuervo – Xanax is right up there. For many people who are addicted to it, trying to stop cold turkey can induce a massive brain seizure, which may or may not be fatal.

I only know this because one of my friends was addicted to Xanax, and decided to quit cold turkey and had a seizure. Luckily he was in a psych ward at the time and got medical attention.

The doctors told him that you have to titrate yourself off Xanax or otherwise you will most likely get a massive brain seizure if you just stop suddenly.

  16. RedRightAnkle says:

I have no idea who this woman is, but GOD DAMN that is some shitty photoshopping.

  17. danielle says:

She is beautiful – the dark eyes and eyebrows make me think I could pull off going blonde, but maybe I’m wrong. (Can’t comment on her personality – never watched the Hills or that other show)

  18. kk17 says:

FYI, alcohol withdrawal (or withdrawal from benzodiazepines, like xanax or valium) is actually the only type of drug or alcohol withdrawal that can kill you. that’s why alcoholics usually have to go into detox programs or be hospitalized if they stop drinking entirely. withdrawing from heroin or cocaine is unpleasant, but you won’t die.

  19. Charlotte says:

First: HAHAHAHAHA! I know it’s mean, but she’s mean. Second: What career in entertainment does she have exactly? Third: Um marriage, hello? Usually means change and compromise. KC is beautiful on the outside, but unfortunately I’ve only ever seen her behave in a rude or self-serving manner.

  20. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@calli P., my MIL is an expert alcoholic/rehab dropout. The one tip she took away from her trips to rehab was to pop those benzos and chase them with her drink of choice (SoCo) in order to make it through the work day without getting DTs. She forgot to take them at my son’s b-day party and party guests asked me if she had MS because she was shaking so badly.

@kk17, true. My MIL spent 5 days detoxing in a hospital before going to rehab.

  21. DethHammer says:

@MorticiansDoItDeader, I hope your MIL can titrate gradually and manage her addictions.

I know this is off topic, but I never got your email 🙁 My email address is my name on here but with only ONE H @ gmail.

  22. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@dethhammer, I just resent. I think THAT may have been the problem (1 too many H’s) and thank you for the well wishes, we’d love for my MIL to get healthy and be in our sons lives.

  23. DethHammer says:

@MorticiansDoItDeader, I got it and I just emailed you back 🙂

  24. Calli Pygian says:

    @ morticians do it deader-

I hear you. A family member died from his alcoholism 9 yrs ago, another on his way. It is an ugly, ugly disease( especially for a child to witness, I can attest firsthand). I do hope your MIL can clean up, but if not, excising her from your & your child’s life may be the right thing to do. Best of luck to you, & ((hugs)).

  25. VeneficaDelirium says:

My mom always told me that seeing the bride in her gown before the wedding brings bad luck.

  26. Carolyn says:

A small part of me hopes this happens to KK. Looks like Kristen dodged a bullet here. No idea what she’s famous for. Everyone knows sportspeople cheat on their wives.

  27. TQB says:

I guess it doesn’t matter much to me whether Winehouse died from the drugs and the booze, or from cutting them out too quickly. You have to be a serious abuser to get to the point where alcohol withdrawal will kill you – not just a partier. That no one was able to help a 27 year old woman in obvious distress keep from reaching that point, or from the consequences, is the tragedy.

  28. seri says:

Everyone chiming in w/ regards to alc. addiction are correct. My mom is an addiction specialist in the VA-hospital near where I live, and she was just telling me the other day an explanation of how the brain will overheat itself as if its in the grip of a deadly fever or heatstroke in alc withdrawl. The heart is so messed-up from continued years of abuse that to stop suddenly will cause them so much physical pain, and mental confusion–for weeks during detox–that the body can simply shut down.
