Jessica Alba in Dolce & Gabbana for the ‘Spy Kids 4D’ premiere: cute or over-done?

Aw, she might be a moron, and she might be “racially ambiguous” but I think Jessica Alba looks super-cute here. These are pics from yesterday’s Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World in 4D premiere. Alba wore a maternity maxi dress from Dolce & Gabbana that looks great on her. The clutch is by Roger Vivier and the shoes are Louboutin. She’s gotten to the part of her pregnancy where she’s gained weight in her face, and I think it makes her look younger and cuter. She looks like a knocked-up 19 year old! That’s what some added weight can do, ladies. My only complaint – and this is just a minor thing – is that Alba was the only person at the premiere who “dressed up” like this, in full hair and makeup and a long dress. While I don’t fault her for the dress (she probably just chose the dress that fit, that was the most comfortable), I will side-eye the over-the-top hair. The hair says “Oscars!” It’s slightly too much for the premiere of a kids’ film. Still, it’s only a minor qualm.

I think Alba is due soon too – her baby shower (with a “French country” theme) was last week, and the way she’s been talking, I expect her to give birth soon enough.

Other photos from the premiere – CB’s soulmate Joel McHale and my favorite child actress, Kiernan Shipka, from Mad Men. Look at her adorable dress! Look at her boots!

I think she looks great, hair and all! When I was *that* pregnant I didn’t feel like dressing up or waddling around in the heat, so kudos to her. She’s dumb as a box of hair, sure, but she’s harmless like a puppy.

And the little girl is the cat’s meow :)

Dress is cute but the hair is a bit too much

Instead of the up-do, a nicely coiffed ponytail would have been nice with that dress.

She had a baby shower for her second child? How very tacky.

Who cares about a second baby shower? She asked that people donate money to charity instead of gifts, but you’ll always get people who want to give you gifts. I loving giving baby gifts, first, second, or seventh baby!

As to her hair, she is probably SUPER HOT being this big pregnant. I know I wore my hair up alot at this time and its super hot summer too. I don’t fault her for wanting to wear her hair up. I think she looks great! Love her maternity fashions.

4D includes some scratch and sniff cards I believe.

    Cute! Cute!

I tend to agree her hair is up cause it is hot as hell! She is obviously in her last weeks of pregnancy and needed that hair up off her back. It’s cute and appropriate. Even her highlights are great.

Then how cute is Kiernan Shipka. She is always dressed her age in great dresses. Love her.

You mean to tell me that there are people who believe that she did not know the answer to the question, can you have sex if your are pregnant.

I would ask that question, just to see how many people I could mislead. It’s halarious when you see how many people you actually can fool…..

Then, I am the one amazed at how some people will believe anything you tell them.

Not a fan of the hair but, she looks great overall and I’d love to look that good when I’m that pregnant.

p.s. Is 4D some new technology or is this the 4th movie or something?

I thought 4D was motion of a 3 dimensional image but I think they are marketing it as smell-0-vision or some other such fuckery.

I agree that her hair would have looked better in a simple pony tail. I don’t really like the dress though. Kudos to her for trying to do something other than the plaine maxi dress that tends to look like a muu-muu on pregnant women but I don’t think that level of gathering a little below her bump is very flattering.

Her hair down or in a ponytail, something a little more casual would’ve made the dress seem casual. I think it’s a cute dress. And she’s pregnant she can wear what she likes haha.

She makes pregnancy look good. My face has gotten so fat (I’m 36 weeks tomorrow) that it looks lumpy! Seriously.

Ehh, maybe it was hot and she wanted her hair up off her neck. I think it’s cute.
