Despite the tabloid rumors that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are totally OVER, they were both at the Teen Choice Awards last night, and were reportedly loved up, like always. However, The Bieb and Selena did not pose together on the blue carpet – Selena saved that honor for her BFF Demi Lovato. Dear God, I’ve never noticed how much these two girls look alike. They could be sisters! And even though I have some not-so-generous thoughts about both of them, I’m buying that their friendship is genuine. They truly look giddy and sweet together, and I wish them well.
As for the fashion – both chose short cocktail dress with mullet-like trains. Both dresses look kind of budget, in my opinion, but I think Demi looks better in general. Demi is wearing BCBG – it fits and it flatters, mostly. The mullet part is kind of fug, but it’s occasion appropriate and she looks healthy. As for Selena – she wore Erin Fetherston. Doesn’t this look tacky and budget? It looks like a pageant evening gown that Selena repurposed, chopped up and threw on. She looks like a 15-year-old going to her junior prom in a borrowed dress. Bad, bad, bad. Oh, and I guess Selena’s doesn’t really have a mullet, it’s more like a…? I don’t even know. I do like their styling, though. Both of them have decent hair and makeup.

I could never really tell them apart. I know that one of them is Bieb’s GF and the other one’s a bit troubled, but they look indeed the same.

I am glad to see Demi looking better. The extra weight looks good – she looks healthy!
The last year or so has aged her – not that she looks super old or anything – but for awhile I was worried she was going to go down a Lindsay Lohan path and look 40 by the time she was 25. Glad to see she has gotten it together since then!

Um..Demi should do something with her hair, maybe chop them off. Her hair seems kind of heavy..a lot and not very flattering. But she looks ok, I’m glad she is well.

I am the only one that thinks it’s the other way around with the dresses? I totally Disagrees with Kaiser. I think Demi’s dress is a fug mess, and Selena’s dress is fairly nice. To be fair though, neither are great.
I like that color on Demi. But, to me, all that weird ribbing is making her look like she’s wearing something from Big Bird’s secret corset collection with some window drapes tacked on. Jmo.

Demi’s dress and shoes are actually cute for a teenager but the tail on the dresses is pointless and horrid.
Selena’s dress is too gold. If I were young, rich and had a small figure like that, I would wear so many cute things but never this gold plastic looking dress

They look cute together and also like they really are best friends and having fun, which is kind of sweet. I wish them both well, too: Demi, that she stays on the right track; Selena, that she dates someone more mature than Bieber.

I don’t usually advocate hose with open toed-shoes, but in her case… investing in beige pantyhose would be a blessing. With close-toed shoes, of course.

oh Selena, the dress,the purse, the shoes!!! what were you thinking?! Ack! Talk about a fashion victim. I guess Demi wins this round, her dress is …slightly less fug? I don’t think they look alike, Selena is definitely the prettier of the two by a long shot. They look kinda bff phoney in these pics, but then again they are kind of the chipper/off beat/goody good types, so it would make sense they would seem that way. I agree on the hair and makeup, they did a great job.
