She seemed to be trying to use humor to deflect the line of questioning. She didn't come off as bitc*y to me at all, more like personable, and not interested in talking about men she probably doesn't like anymore or ever. The "I could make money with this face" comment, well I could hear that as humorous as well. I feel like it's so hard for a woman to just be herself and be humorous, people always judge so hard, so often so much is perceived as egotistical if it's coming from a female ...I bet if Brad Pitt or Denzel Washington said he thought that at 6 years old, people would be like "haha what a card." If a pretty woman agrees she is pretty and tries to have fun about it, she is torched, but if she says "I was teased and funny looking" she is also torched. And if she's mute about it, she's called "boring". This girl, at least, has a semblance of a personality. The spandex and size 16 thing -? That is downright down to earth coming from a model. No one with so little self-awareness can be that rewarding of a conversationalist. I mean, she said that stuff, and if people responded to it negatively, it doesn't have to prove a deeper psychosis. There's a big difference between confidence and hatefulness, and I think parts of the interview veered into the latter. I have enough respect for myself and womanhood to not defend things I find distasteful because someone insists that I suppress it for the sisterhood.
