Last night, the “Do Something” Awards were held in LA, and the biggest “gets” of the evening were Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Jane Lynch, and Justin Bieber (The Bieb didn’t even walk the carpet). So… no offense to Jane, but the event wasn’t really A-list or anything. Still, we do have some interesting photos of Demi and Kim posing together on the carpet. Now, go ahead and yell at me because I’ve never thought Demi was a really “fresh, pretty” looking girl. But doesn’t she look amazing when she stands next to Kim Kardashian? Maybe that’s the new thing – “How great do you look standing next to a Kardashian?” Because Demi looks gorgeous, fresh, natural, beautiful and adorable next to Kim’s kat-face.
As for the actual fashion happening here… is it wrong that I like both of their dresses? Kim made a rare fashion hit with this long gown in an off-white, with a metallic belt, designer unknown. My only complaints about Kim’s look are the shoulder pads (dated, unnecessary) and the fact that she’s too dressy for this kind of event. As for Demi – some sites are talking about how her boobs are on display, but I think she looks really pretty and healthy. I do hope she’s doing alright, because she looks great. Is it a bad sign that she’s hanging with Kim Kardashian? Probably. But that’s an issue for another time.
PS… I included some closeups of Kim’s face just to emphasize the point that her face is officially a tragedy. She’s ridiculous.

Neither of them look that great to me. The short dress is cute but DL is too busty and broad-shouldered so it looks off. KK looks like she is channeling Joan Collins in the Dynasty heyday. She actually looks like she could be DL’s mother. Not good at all.

I think Demi dated Rob Kardashian or something and stayed friends with the family. Kim K and Demi always tweet to eachother. He was at her bday party and that kind of stuff. I think it was pretty much on the d/l.

They both look like they’re about to burst out of their dresses. Would it have killed them to go up a size? On a positive note: KK looks like she’s in great shape. Weren’t there some previous posts bitching about how she was gaining weight instead of losing it in preparation for her wedding? Looks like she was just dressing unflatteringly.

Kim kartrashian has now beat paris as the most useless piece of flotsam on the planet; my housecat’s upchuck has more value than this dolt – to use the term “fashion” and a Kartrashian in the same sentence is to further demean the already slumping world of fashion. Aside from appearing at these events, and looking more vacant than when I read the newspaper to my cat, and selling crap to the masses, does this dolt actually do anything? I have no comment on lovato because, like many, I’m tired of disney forcing these kids on the public.

I actually think Kim looks very beautiful here. The metallic belt is awesome and makes her waist look tiny. Demi looks the prettiest and happiest I’ve ever seen her – though it sort of feels like her dress was originally a full-length and somebody cut it off above the knee for some absurd reason…oh, and ditto on the painful boob remarks. Nobody likes squashed puppies!

Well, we asked for healthy looking and curvy and here they are. I agree with what Kaiser said, I never really thought of Demi’s looks as anything to write home about, but she looks exponentially better standing next to a Kartrashian.

ummmm, KK’s lower eyelashes make it look like her vacuous, money-grubbing, dark little soul is trying to seep out via her eyes. Creepy lower lashes (those things shouldn’t ever be longer than the TOP lashes, right???).
I’m really coming around on Demi, tho. She looks nice here. Lovely skin, nice hair – crazy cleavage. She’s cute.

2) Lardassian Kartrashian should know enough NOT to wear a bra lighter than her skin tone under a white (or whatever) dress…didn’t she used to be Parasite’s “stylist?”
3) It wouldn’t have killed either one of them to go up a size in dresses (but I’m sure it would have killed their EGOS).

Agree with honeychurch. D looks too old for her age (thanks to the TON of make-up) and K looks like a doll / too fake & also due to the plastered make-up. How bad is there skin going to look in a few years just from not breathing air!?> Oh yeah, that’s what the stretching and botox is for! My bad.

Hmm….me thinks KK’s long, evening-look is because of the psoriasis on her legs. She is very fortunate that its only showing up there.
I think Demi looks nice and healthy and young. EXCEPT-why the nasty, claw-like nails??!!!! Scary! I’m surprised to agree that KK looks like she could pass for her very well-kept mother (could be the evening gown though). *sigh* we’re the same age, I need to prep myself to no longer hear that I look like a student but like I could be one of my students’ mothers.
As an aside, I REALLY think KK looks a LOT like Kris. I can barely remember what she looked like originally but now she looks like a Kris klone. I know the article on visiting her father’s grave was a long time ago but it had popped into my head then that that was a pretty good idea. KK resembles and seems to think/behave like Kris (business-minded/entrepeneur/driven) so what happened to her father will be eventually what may (actually WILL-we all die) happen to him. Although, he’ll be her 2nd husband so maybe he’ll be more like Bruce….either way, its good he get an in-your-face encounter with the reality of his future before he says “I do”. The choice to move forward is his.

WOW this is the first time it’s really hit me just how bizarre Kim’s face has actually become. The hairline, the Frankenstein cheeks, the nose, the eyes, even the eye lashes! Just absolutely incomparable to the original Kim we saw back in 2006. Demi Lovato outshines her by a million, Kim looks puffy and swollen.

Demi looks better because she has eyes that actually look open and normal, not slits in her face from multiple cat-face surgeries. Kim used to have the most beautiful eyes, and now they are ridiculously ruined.

Demi’s face looks better. But Kim definitely has the better body. Demi’s figure is kind of, erm… porcine. I know that’s a bit brutal, but she just has a really weird body shape. She’s got a small waist and small breasts (relative to her size–but she’s gained weight lately so they don’t look as small), and thick arms and legs.
