Both are too fat. Cheryl (who used to be hot) and
Schimmer who just has fatt leggs . . . really, there are no available dancers? Is Broadway really doing THAT well? Or is DWTS a curse?

YES!!! They are both fat pigs!!! Allowing fatties like these two on the air only encourages other face-stuffers and over-eaters to continue their pathetic behavior. A pig is a pig and a fat ass is a fat ass!! People didn’t used to be this fat… why is it OK now? TV has a responsibility to show good examples in everything. Putting overweight people on the air makes it seem OK for those in the audience to be overweight too. How is this a good idea?? A little embarrassment and pressure might help them to gain the will power to stop eating everything in sight. 33% of Americans are obese… we’ve got to stop feeling sorry for them! You won’t ever find me kissing their asses! (blechh!)

They are both healthy and beautiful. Anyone who says otherwise is rediculous. It’s true that comments like this is why women have an unrealistic body image. Awful!

Personally, I’m glad I can watch this show and see two women that I am attracted to. Not everyone is turned on by the skinny European woman. Most importantly is, they are performing, doing their job and aren’t hurting anyone so stop hating and try to find understanding. If you try to please everyone you’ll be a failure

I just googled it because I noticed Lacey was wearing a lot of loose clothing and looked big. There is no question she is hot, but she is paid to keep up an appearance. Max is absolutely right. She mocks Kyle about eating right and working out. She needs to practice what she preaches first. I don’t know her finances and I hear the DWTS dancers are paid only $5000 per week + expenses. But she must do a better job staying fit as a dancer. SHE IS A DANCER! Dancers are to be agile, fit, and most of all attractive. It is the career she has chosen. If you don’t watch your weight as a dancer, it makes it hard on your knees. It isn’t about voluptuous and beautiful, it about appearance as a dancer. Otherwise, choose another field. I still love you Lacey, just more of you lately.

For the person who said that Lacey must have gained weight by her own fault because her genes “obviously” dictate she should be thin – have you seen her father? He was a ballroom champ but has since gained a lot of weight, so there goes your genetics theory.
Not to mention that because she and Cheryl are dancers – not in spite of it, as people are implying – they are bound to be more muscular than the average person. They throw themselves around in the air all day long and that takes strength. Strength comes from muscles; people who are muscular tend to be ‘thicker’ because they are not skin and bone alone.
In all honesty, I thought Lacey was the most attractive female on DWTS because she has some substance. Seeing people’s ribs protrude as they breath scares me.
What guy wants to cuddle and sleep with a big sack o’ bones anyway? None that I know.
P.S. I agree with you, Eric S. I thought the way she was shakin’ it was pretty hot – and I’m a girl!

The pressure that television puts on young women to become skin and bones is problematic. Most people don’t look like that. And I can’t speak for anyone other than myself, but I don’t like looking at a woman’s ribs.

Lacey Schwimmer looked HOT last night (when Steve-O hurt his back, unfortunately), with that smooth midriff twisting and that kadunkadunk bouncing around. I was actually on the phone doing remote assistance, when my cousin walked into the living room and said, “Damn, that girl can shake it!”

And here’s some food for thought on the subject of Cheryl Burke: I hope I don’t jinx her, but she is the current champion of DWTS, and therefore a role model by right. This is a prime example of an average-bodied woman making the mark, and doing it in the faces of her skinny contemporaries. We need more TV idols like her; this would help to undo the spell of shame that is tormenting women today.

… WOOW! I’m a dancer to, although I’m not as old as them, so they’re probablly totally aware that they gained weight. But that doesn’t really matter, becuase they’re both beautiful… I watched Lacey on SYTYCD and she’s just like that. It looks like she has a ton of muscle though, she always has.
If I was uncomfterable with my body, this would make it so much worse. They’re TOOOOTALLY not fat, at all, people are retarded.
