Whenever we run photos of Alex Skarsgard, there are always a few of you who say he doesn’t do it for you. That’s fine, you know, it takes all kinds and that just means there’s more to go around for the rest of us. I personally don’t get the Fassbender love that Kaiser and Bedhead have. I mean I wouldn’t kick him out of bed or anything but he’s not my type. That’s part of the reason I’m surprised that Kaiser has so much love for Alex Skarsgard. He’s not her type, I wouldn’t think, in that he’s so angelically lovely. (She likes ’em a little rough around the edges.) The guy is perfection on a tall perfectly toned… stick.
So here we have Alex for German GQ Style’s Fall/Winter issue and in September’s InStyle adding so much joy and meaning to hump day. He does look like a typically gorgeous male model, but to me he’s also a man of substance. Yes I’m overstating my case, but he just seems so nice, normal and humble in interviews. He does have poor taste in women, so we know he’s not perfect.
Skars is blowing up the newsstand this coming month. He’s also on the covers of Wonderland (along with Kiki Dunst) and Blackbook (along with his ex and upcoming co-star, Kate Bosworth.) I doubt that his parts in Straw Dogs or that Battleship movie are going to be breakout roles for him, but it’s still nice to see him get so much exposure. He’s a talented actor and oh-so-easy on the eyes.

I also wish I hadn’t started TB at times. Three episodes left and wait a whole YEAR for 12 more that you have to wait per week for. Sometimes I think it’s not worth it. It’s not like much happens per season.
I like TB, really do, but having to wait SO long is just ridiculous and makes me want to forget about it.

Until I started watching the show, I couldn’t understand Alex Skarsgard’s appeal. He’s a bit of a pretty boy. After seeing him on the show… wow. I’d hit it. hard.

The fact that he’s a big dork does it even more for me. His face goes from full hot to full derp in about 3 seconds which is more than enough time for me to say I’d hit it so often I would need an icepack.
He’s a dork, is smoking hot, has a great sense of humour, can drink like a fish, is humble and an all around really nice guy. FML, I really am ruined for all other men. Thank goodness we get our viking sheriff back this Sunday! That little bit of him in Sookie’s dream just wet my appetite. The way he came into her house and just… I need a cold shower now.

I don’t like em long and thin (thick-necked and stocky for me), but it’s his FACE that really bugs me — and, apologies to his legions of loyal fans, but the close-set eyes and big, bulbous nose look more clown-like than sex-ay to me…….

Add me to the “Meh on Skarsgaard” contingent. He is nice and tall which is lovely and I think some of his modeling shots are gorgeous, but his face just doesn’t do it for me. then again, I’m meh on most of the current “hot” guys – Fassbender, etal.

Alexander Skarsgard changed my opinion of blonde men (which had been pretty “meh” before) forever. I also have a whole new appreciation for tall men. That he can go from smiley and adorkable to smoldering beefcake is just a bonus. I’d hit it like the fist of an angry god.

I have to admit I didn’t get the appeal at first. I’ve never been into the tall lanky or blonde look.
But then I started watching the show and got it.Alex would truly define the urban term “Swagger”. When you see his interactions, there is this confidence and sexiness that exudes from within. Its the way he carries himself and delivers his lines. I will say he lost a bit too much weight for me this season. If I could get Season 2 Eric I soo would..Hard and often lol

That wonderland one looks horrible. The NKOTB dressed like that in the early 90’s, and it looked horrible on them as well, and they were far younger, in theory they would be able to get away with it far easier.
The B&W pics? Same old, he doesn’t look horrible (doesn’t look great either), but he’s dog food as far as I’m concerned, I am unable and unwilling to overlook his publicity stunts, dating ones and otherwise. Paps always seem to find him at his gym and other menial activities, but not at other times, weird, huh? A C/D lister isn’t worth enough for it unless involved in scandal. And those pics of him in a red shirt? He was totally playing it up for the cameras, that’s not his natural expression in the very least.
He does it for me when his mouth is closed and he has a serious look on his face. Don’t like his teeth or smile. The kind of contradict his other look.

I also believe his type of nose is not photogenic. Most noses aren’t and that’s why so many Hollywood starts get rhinoplasty. Some people look way better in person and in action than in photos. I agree with 13, 16, 17, and 32. While I can see why some people would find him attractive, Skarsgaard’s face does nothing for me. His body is hot though and those pictures look nice.

As for Kate Bosworth – I think it is a good thing that she chose him. I know women like Ms. Bosworth, and they rarely choose men that they find ‘beneath’ themselves. They are usually decent, ambitious and goodlooking men who fall trap to the pretty, innocent blond routine. Because although Kate Bosworth may have a bad reputation, she really has done well when it comes to the man department. Orlando, James, Alexander and attempting to pick up Jim Sturgess? They aren’t bad catches at all…

hairball, the synopsis for episode 10 has Sookie breaking the spell. The presumption is it’s the amnesia spell. Though since he now has two spells on him, perhaps it’s only the controlling spell, but probably both.
