That said, please please no to the Angelina Jolie RDJ movie suggestion. She’s lovely and I give her props for her charity work, but her acting is stilted and one-dimensional and would detract from anything RDJ is in.

And I enjoyed Prime Suspect. I watched the premiere last night and it looks fun. I’ve always been a big fan of hers and I love how natural looking and expressive her face is. I was worried because I liked the original show with Helen Mirren (another fave) but I was pleasantly surprised. I just wish the best for her.

I saw him in some movie where he was a Medieval doctor. It was comedic yet period.
He was mesmerizing. Couldn’t take your eyes off the entertainment he delivered every seen. And I love genuine classics but hate old period crap! His was fascinating and just set in the past, not something that belonged left there.
He’s my favorite comeback story and deserves the love he gets. I respect those who fly right for the long haul, but he’s a rare former-disaster-made-good who obviously had a real fall and knows just how precarious his new position is. It’s sweet he tries to reach out to the less worthy screw ups in their times of need too. Compassionate, interesting, talented!
I hope he’ll Paccino out the next few years with tons of great performances only he can deliver in movies worthy of his boundless talent.

I truly like him as an actor and as a person.He’s been through a lot and he’s always been honest about it and that I can respect.It’s good to see that great things have finally come his way.

Not to rain on the parade, because Robert Downey Jr. is a very handsome man, as many of you have said, but I do believe he has makeup on. That’s partly why he looks so good in these pictures, and looks like he is aging so well…not that he isn’t aging well, but I think you know what I mean.
@mzjask: Brad is STILL filming “World War Z”; that’s partly why he looks the way he does now. The hair, some of the clothes – a lot of that is just because of the movie. If Brad had a movie he was filming that had styling like any of the “Ocean’s” movies or something where he had to be more clean cut, then it would be easier to see how handsome he still is.
The character’s costume notwithstanding, RDJ is my forever dong.

Robert should have received an Oscar for his performance of Chaplin way back before he hit bottom. He should be awarded for his obvious talent, especially now that he has risen above his demons. He is a true actor in every sense of the word. (and yes, sexy, too)
