Here are some new photos of LeAnn Rimes in London, outside of the BBC. She made an appearance and performed to mark “the 50th anniversary of Songs of Praise” and to promote her new album, Lady and Gentlemen. Okay, don’t shoot me in the face, but I don’t think she looks bad (for her) here. Yes, she’s emaciated and squinty and her legs scare the hell out of me, but really, this is not a bad look for her. She’s covered up, the bolt-ons are contained, the outfit is rather nice and her hair and makeup look especially good. Two things: one, she really needs to stop wearing ankle booties. On most women, those booties cut off the line of the leg and make slender women look chunky in the leg department. On LeAnn, however, the booties make her legs look even more ridiculous and chickeny.
Second thing: THIS PHOTO. That baby is like, “Seriously, bitch, stop poking me.”

I think, like, ‘OK, I’m 29, I’m done.’ I say that for a week and then I’m ready to go back.”
She’s very wise: “I feel like I have more to give now than I ever have. I have all the success and knowledge and wisdom behind me to be in a really cool place.”
If she wants to quit, why doesn’t she? Why doesn’t she take a break for a few years and stop with the seemingly endless hustle? Or has she been on a break and I just feel like she’s been hustling because she’s such a famewhore? Oh, and this quote: “I’ve been one of the very few who have come through as a true artist as the other side of the child star kind of thing. I’m prouder of my work than I’ve ever been. I’m coming into my own as a true artist and not just a little girl with a big voice.” Here’s the thing: even if that statement is true (debatable), it’s not for her to say. It’s for other people to say about her and her career. It’s like she’s saying, “Yeah, I’m unbelievably good. I’m so good, and I’m can’t believe how great I get year after year.” Not even Barbra Streisand could pull off that kind of ego.

@Lisa, I’m the first to admit that jealousy does bring out cattiness, and I try to check myself prior to making rude comments. Am I actually jealous? I also agree that some comments I read on gossip sites appear to me to be a product of jealousy.
With that said, I think certain celebrities (eg Leann, Lindsay) are so unlikeable that most of the snarky comments come from a place of honest disgust.
I would never want to be Leann, and on some level I actually feel sorry for her. Eddie will cheat on her, just like he did on Brandi, and she will be publicly humiliated–but her humiliation will be much worse because she has behaved so poorly, flaunting her relationship/copying, mocking and undermining the mother of her stepchildren (whose husband she stole) all the while hypocritically chastising all of the “judgmental”
people who dared to criticize her, yet judging everyone else (“I would *never* get plastic surgery…” to Brandi, only to turn around and use Brandi’s plastic surgeon to get breast implants)… I could go on and on…

Crazy Women and Swingin did poorly on Itunes, so much so that LR had to throw parties for her radio friends just to get them to play this song, which fell off the charts with her and EC bad behavior. After her antics with BG son at Family Day, Crazy Women fell off the Country Billboard charts.
Give fell off of the Itunes chart the same week it was released. It was back on Itunes for one day after her AGT performace. After her mega media blitz with EC at fashion week, Give fell off of the Country Billboard chart(it was holding steady at 52 and 53, dropped to 56 after they staged those photo-ops with EC kids at the fair).
So what success if LR talking about? The success of exploiting the misfortunes of others just so that she can shove her relationship with EC down

EC says that Leann doesn’t REALLY look skinny. He says that the media and press(keep in mind that the photos are from LR mouthpieces) are only picking out and then using those photos of Leann that make Leann look skinny. Yeap just like how the media and press made up his affair with LR by piecing together those photos that made it look like they were having an affair, right? At least when EC was married to BG we didn’t know that he was this stupid. Even the Gather, who write nothing but nice articles about LR and EC, noted that she looked even more skinner and bad in these photos from London. LR must have been up all night worrying over who EC was sleeping with and how she can hide it from the media.
Remember LR attack in Chicago where she says someone told her to eat? So how then does Eddie explain that incident because clearly that person wasn’t looking at a photo of LR? So then are we to assume that LR made that incident up just like we thought she did?
If EC thinks that LR looks fit and healthy, then he clearly needs glasses or he doesn’t notice that LR has a problem because he is either too drunk to notice that she isn’t eating or he isn’t spending as much time with LR as she would have us all believe.
Why– don’t forget the interview eddie gave to the media where he loudly proclaimed he was not having affair with the grinch and the media liked to put their spin on it and it was a fishbowl of lies. couple days later here comes the film with him meeting Leann at restaurant and her sucking his fingers, gross, she is an A number 1 nose picker. So she thinks she’s “been through it all?” Has she: had any children of her own, lost a baby to miscarriage, had a serious illness, had a parent die, had serious financial problems, lived through a natural disaster, had a suicide in her family or had to be a caretaker for terminally ill family members? She just annoys me so much. It’s like someone above stated: she is saying things about herself that only others should say as a compliment to her (if she ever deserved it).
So last week when EC show didn’t do well, NBC/PBC instructed EC and LR to set up “happy family” photo-ops with EC kids at Nobu.
And the second week just min before EC show airs and just a day before LR album is released(although I could have thought that she had several of her mouthpieces release article after article about how she was releasing her album early on Monday), LR writes a blog about EC kids and about how she doesn’t want to be called STEPMOTHER because they are a FAMILY. The very same blog where she has posted several photos of EC kids on a beach(so much for the paps following them like EC claims right?) and entitled it “family time” photos because EC just doesn’t want his kids to experience ANY type of public exposure. Could the media please address this issue of EC double standards?
So NBC has instructed EC to use his kids as human shields, in other words they think that people will be less likely to slam PBC and more likely to watch it if EC and LR remind everyone that EC and LR are trying to “raise” his boys. That is low even for NBC.
I know that people were trying to support BG and her kids by watching PBC, but at some point someone needs to draw the line. EC and LR do not get to exploit those kids the way they do just because they use the “no job=no child support for EC kids” angle.
LR blog entry about those kids was very offensive, she says she respects/loves those kids, yet she continues to thrusts them into the media by tweeting and blogging about them and telling the paps where and when to find them because she has an album to promote.
I live in Dallas and one of the casinos in Oklahoma often advertises their concerts on a big billboard on the freeway. Last week they put up a big picture of her advertising LeAnn Rimes as the headliner and Kelly Pickler and some girl group as the second billing. Today the sign changed to a giant picture of Kelly with no mention whatsoever of LR. Rumor has it they weren’t selling any tickets.
Also, I used to live in Nashville when LR was still married to her poor ex-husband. She built a house right on the main road right in front of the gated neighborhood where a bunch of music producers and actual stars lived. She didn’t actually live in the neighborhood, the fence around it just happened to run right along the back of her property. It was hilarious because from the road it looked like they had actually fenced her out.
And every year at Christmas she would fill the yard of what could have been a nice home had she not built it so close to a major road, with around 15 of those big inflatable Christmas decorations. And she would have spotlights on each one so you couldn’t miss them. It was beyond tacky.
Good Christ, humble much?! I have never, EVER considered Leann Rimes any kind of a true, original artist. Tori Amos covered all men’s songs a long time ago, and Tori Amos IS a great example of a true artist, not some crap pop-country moron and Lifetime “actress” like Leann. Seriously, the only LR song I even know is that “How Do I Live” song that was popular when I was in HIGH SCHOOL, and I am now 30 years old. Her “career” is a joke, what is she babbling about?

But it wasn’t the media/Gettyimages who picked out the bikini photos that Leann posted on her twitter page, the one that sparked that argument with a fan while LR was on her honeymoon and then the one where she went on vacation with EC and his kids for father’s day. It wasn’t the media/Gettyimages who posted the photos of LR modeling in the Miko bikinis while in Cabo with EC. EC argument isn’t valid because LR looks skinny in those photos and as we saw EC and/or Leann were responsible for taking those photos and then releasing them to the media outlets of her choice.
I guess exploiting Eddie’ kids paid off for LR because her album is ranked #2 on the Country Itunes chart and Give is ranked 73 on the Itunes ountry chart.
Who would have thought that as a “true artist” LR success rests upon the shoulders of EC kids?
So LR fans are only interested in downloading her music when she is exploiting EC kids?

I agree, the photos that were the most commented on were the ones THEY released.

It goes like this…Michael Jackson, a child star who became true artist. And then there is everybody else who wishes they could have done the same.
Some have come close to it, and LeAnn ain’t one of them.
I have to say her voice is fantastic and her new album is amazing – probably her best work. It really deserves to do well, and is way better than most of the crap country stars are putting out nowadays.
Unfortunately I couldn’t read or watch much of any of her interviews because of the blatant narcissism, but I do think for a child star, judging solely in comparison to other child stars, she is doing ok.

Something strange is going on another site, I noticed that someone is using 10-15 different names to write nice comments/reviews about LR album. And you can tell it’s the same person writing these comments under several different names because he doesn’t even bother to switch up his writing style.
I didn’t think it was possible to scam Itunes, but why else would someone need to post nice comments about LR album using 10-15 different names if it’s doing as well as the charts say? It makes me wonder, is her album being downloaded by “fans” or is her album being downloaded by LeannInc and her pr people? I just thought it was funny and odd that LeannInc is still posting under several different names to hype up this album, why would that even be necessary when the charts would speak for itself? Unless of course there is something shady going on. Seriously, with LR I have learned that anything is possible and you have to think the worse. I never would have suspected anything shady was going on with Itunes if it wasn’t for the fact that someone from camp LeannInc was using 10-15 different names to post positive comments about her album, this coming after that person spent a day making posts in other posters names.
@murt, I have not heard her new album yet but I agree with everything you just said. The girl can absolutely sing, great voice for sure.
It’s just that she’s so darn unlikable & such a delusional narcissist.
She may have a nice voice but she is a horrible person and nothing can make up for that.
