Here are some more photos from last night’s premiere/screening of Lifetime’s Five, that project in which five celebrity women directed stories about breast cancer. It’s like If These Walls Could Talk, only it’s about breast cancer. I just covered the Jennifer Aniston stuff here. This post is just about Demi Moore and Alicia Keys, two of the other directors.
First up: the fashion. Demi is wearing Chanel. It’s… not very attractive. I think the patterned fabric on the top looks really dated. Plus, Demi looks like she’s losing too much weight, right? Extreme diet? Next subject: Demi and her face. We were talking about Demi’s face yesterday too – it’s looking particularly odd these days. Now, Demi rarely has that puffy, over-stuffed look that many Botoxy women get. Demi usually looks, to me, like she’s had an enormous amount of surgery. It’s about her eyes, the tightness of her jaw, the immobility of her forehead (which, granted, could be Botox). I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – there comes a point in time when everything catches up to a woman with lots of plastic surgery – they suddenly look OLDER than their age, more so than if they didn’t do anything.
Next up: Alicia Keys, who was the only lady on the red carpet to actually walk the carpet with her man. Yes, Swizz Beatz was there, showing the world that Alicia knows that he’s a dog who sext-cheats on her (at least), and she’s fine with it. How empowering! Alicia’s suit is nice, and much like Aniston, ‘Licia was flashing her bra. I also included Alicia’s “day” look yesterday, in which she wore a jumpsuit and looked like a fancy mechanic.

I like Alicia Keys in the suit a lot. As for Demi Moore’s dress, I like it until the pattern on the bottom. If that whole part was cut off, it’d be great. I think she looks frozen and hard because she lost too much weight. 10lbs isn’t going to make them look fat, it will just soften them up.. why wont these women learn?

I absolutely love the dress and there isn’t much wrong with Demi’s face.
Yes, it’s obvious she’s had work done, but she hasn’t radically changed the structure of her face which was awesome to begin with and she hasn’t made the (Lohan) mistake of plumping up her naturally thin lips.
She looks like she’s in the mid 30s and her skin looks great.
She could stand to gain a few pounds, that’s all.

In these pics, Demi looks botoxy only from the eyes up, but normal age from the eyes down. That contrast, and the fact that her face looks so skeletal, make her look very odd.

Poor Demi! She looks like she’s lost weight due to grieving. I hate that for her. She still looks pretty to me, but her body is so thin that I fear she’ll break a bone.
I’m harboring a fantasy that Alicia drops Swizz like a hot rock, moving on to someone fabulous and female. It would be the perfect karmic outcome for him.

And ITA that weight loss can age you a lot. My husband recently met an old classmate of mine who is gaunt and skeletal like that and he couldn’t believe we were the same age, he thought she was at least 10 years older than me. When your skull starts to show clearly in your face you know you’ve gone too far!

Demi has lost all her muscle mass which is what made her beautiful back in the day. She needs some weight training and drink a daily Ensure (protein) if she’s not going to eat.

What is WRONG with you people? She is nearly 50, but people discuss her as if she is in her 20′s acting out like Lohan or something. Yes, she looks a bit older than 20 because she is almost 50!!!!! She has had several kids!!!! How is she supposed to look? Yes, she looks thin. Some people gain weight when they age and others lose weight. She appears to be in the latter category. And I’m sure her younger D bag husband cheating on her left and right doesn’t help.
I love Demi. She has broken a lot of barriers and is a genuinely important and strong woman. She needs to be celebrated and not torn down by other women.

She does look stressed, and I can’t blame her. I use to love Ashton, but I’d divorce his a** before he can make her look like a fool, yet again.
She is aging like my sister in law, who is close to her age but has never had any plastic surgery. The whole family (including my fiancee) is made up of a bunch of genetic freaks (mom in her 70′s with zero gray hair!). She is blessed. Watch About Last Night! She had cute, puffy lips and she has not even tried to mimic her younger self. If she has had jaw work done, so be it. She looks great, and how much pressure is there in Hollywood?! It’s like living in Dallas and not having hair extensions and a boob job– nearly impossible.
When the divorce is done and she starts eating more, she will look like her beautiful self again and gain some weight. She still looks great, though.

Alicia gets hood credit for accentuating her sisterly figure in a good light. For once her clothes highlight her thickness but doesn’t make her look like a hot mess.
And we’ll also give her half of credit for eating her shite and taking that loser on the carpet with her. She married him knowing what he was, so eat it up chica and as Tim Gunn would say, “make it work.”
Of course, truthfully the hood also knows that Alicia could care less about where Swizzy’s peen lands since she he’s her stache and she’s really all about the ladies.
I personally feel she should have put more effort into her cover because looking like a homewrecker is not cool at all.
