Well well well. Little Miss Lip-Bite is getting fancier and fancier with each magazine cover, isn’t she? Three years ago, if a magazine stylist had handed Kristen Stewart a bikini, K-Stew would have rolled her eyes and set fire to the instrument of hipster DOOM, all while smoking a joint. Now Kristen is at the precipice of her post-Twilight career, and maybe she’s not up for the parts she wants. Thus, a Valley of the Dolls-inspired photo shoot in W Magazine, then some legsy shots in Glamour, and now some skin-baring, bikini-wearing, selling out on the cover of GQ UK’s November issue. DOOM.
But seriously, the cover shot is interesting and unexpected. The swimsuit is retro, and there’s so much skin showing, Kristen must have been either stoned or drunk to agree to it. The only thing I really dislike is her hair – instead of looking retro, it just looks kind of gross. And that sucks, because K-Stew has good hair!
There isn’t much in the way of interview excerpts – nothing is getting released until later on this week. GQ UK’s preview just says that Kristen “goes for chilled beers and nachos with GQ to talk candidly about the phenomenon, fame and the future, starting with another book adaptation: next year’s On The Road.” According to Us Weekly, Kristen tells GQ that she thinks her evolution is great – “I looked like a boy for a long time. Now I feel like a woman.” I’m not sure what that’s in reference to, though. Is she talking about aging in the series, or her new-found sex appeal, or is she discussing losing her Bella-virginity on-screen? Who knows?

Eh, I don’t like this one. She looks so out of place on that cover. She isn’t a bombshell or all that sexy. She looks better in jeans and a t-shirt. The Glamour cover was better, although I never find her all that interesting to look at, but she does look better when they aren’t trying to make her into a sex symbol. She is DEFINITELY trying to change her image and seem more feminine and nice.
Wow, she’s gorgeous. I never thought she looked like a boy. Just because she wasn’t into wearing heels and a dress to the mall. It’s good that she is getting comfortable in her skin. She is still very young, it took me well past 21 before i got over silly insecurities. It must be sooo much harder when you are famous as she is, so kudos to her!

nobody i know thinks she is pretty. she just gives good photo and also on screen but you have to hand it to those photoshoppers and cineatographers. still looks like a basic potato head here, and her face has that crescent moon shape with the prominent chin and sixhead. that would all be ok if her acting talent wasn’t so annoyingly non-existent.

She’s really growing up to be a beautiful woman…and not every girl wants to be a glamour girl in her teens!!! One of the things I like about her – she always seems comfortable in her own skin even when hack writers are putting her down for being a bit tom-boy…she’s let herself take her own time into becoming a fine young woman…I enjoy watching her change and grow up without all the drama like we’ve seen with other girls her age!
She really did look like a boy when she was little. In a film called The Safety of Objects (with Joshua Jackson and Patricia Clarkson) she played a character called Sam who the audience was lead to believe was a boy until Timothy Olyphant’s character kidnapped her and realised she was a girl. It’s a pretty typical indie pretentious film but it’s worth a watch. I think she was at her best in Adventureland and Into the Wild.

I think she is pretty, but she is not that talented. Her acting range is very small.
She looks out of place in that particular background and in those clothes. The sexy, come-hither type of attitude is not her style and she can’t really pull it off.
However, I always thought her physique to be lithe and slender, not boyish. Her figure has very delicate features, it’s the face that actually poses some problems (I cannot get over that chin and those lips), especially when her hair is pulled back and she reveals those disproportionate ears. But hey, that’s her lot in life and no one expects her to be physically perfect.
As for her “detractors” being envious, please. I basically have her figure plus much bigger boobs. Being thin is not the end of all insecurities. Why tie this whole thing into people being fat? It only shows ignorance and bigotry.

As for her as person/actress, I don’t really know much. I have made it a point to avoid her because of my extreme dislike of all things Twilight. That said, everytime there is a story one here about her, it always makes me laugh. Maybe she is just young and will outgrow the emo-nerdy schtick. It is so fricking funny when people carry on in that way. Kristen projects that even if it isn’t who she is.
Another one bites the dust. Every actress always has to go this route in order to remain relevant. It’s sad but true. Conform and sell yourself in this fashion or get out.

I loved the Twilight books and was looking forward to the movies, but those movies are so miscast…the first time I saw a picture of Pattinson, I could not believe they had cast him to play Edward…Edward was supposed to be so beautiful that he was almost hard to look at…Pattinson is not even close to being good looking with that squished in face…and all K-stew could not act her way out of a paper bag…monotone voice and expressionless…very disappointed…
