    LOL….you said it, Kaiser!

  2. Praise St. Angie! says:

canceled? already?! didn’t it only air ONCE? even if it was only twice…ouch, that’s harsh.

    but funny.

  3. Stonegodess says:

Look at the above pictures and see how silly he looks? That sort of squinty eye thing he has going on? Tht right there is the depth of his acting ability.

KARMA for you both. I actually feel badly for the rest of the cast, getting dragged down with him.

Suck it both of you. All your bad behaviour is now coming back at you. Makes me smile.

Next thing you know he’ll be asking for a reduction in child support because he has no job. Two good days in a row!

  4. Devon says:

    I am shocked.

  5. Catherine says:

    No shocker there.

  6. Kaiser says:

Stonegoddess – Yes, I actually do have sympathy for Amber Heard. She’s a pretty little thing.

  7. Tierra says:

    Bwahahahahaha!!!!

This probably makes LR happy since he wont have his own paycheck anymore or have to be around all the playboy bunnies all day.

  8. ladybert62 says:

Maybe that is why leann is flying all over the US! Looking for work? ha ha

  9. Webster says:

I am not surprised. The show sucked bigtime and eddie is a bad actor. I don’t care about his personal life so I won’t comment on that, but the performances were terrible and he was the weakest link in the cast IMO.

  10. Rita says:

This story made my day. Do you know what this means? That’s right!!! Today is the first day of the midlife crisis.

Looking in his mirror while LeAnn tries to push a car off her fence Eddie asks, “How could this be..I’m so pretty?” Oh, it be, honey. It be.

I want to share LeAnn’s next theme song which I got to sing twice while driving down the autobaun in Croatia with the windows down and my love at the wheel (rolled up map for a microphone):

    Um-hm-hm aah ah ah
    Don’t leave me this way
    I can’t survive
    I can’t stay alive
    Without your love, oh baby
Don’t leave me this way, no
    I can’t exist, I’ll surely miss
    Your tender kiss
    Don’t leave me this way

Baby, my heart is full of love and desire for you
Now go on down there and do what you’ve gotta do
You started this fire down in my soul
Now can’t you see it’s burnin’, outta control
Come and satisfy the need in me
‘Cause only your good lovin’ can set me free

Don’t, don’t ya leave me this way, no
Don’t ya understand, I’m at your command
Oh baby, please. Please, don”t leave me this way
    No, baby
    Don’t leave me this way
    I can’t survive, I can’t stay alive
    Without your love
Baby, don’t leave me this way

    Satisy the need in me
    Satisfy the need in me…
    Don’t leave me this way

Thelma Houston (Something called disco, my grandmother told me about).

  11. dorothy says:

Maybe the drunk guy that ran into his and Leann’s fench was Eddie’s agent.

  12. Riana says:

The whole idea behind the show was stupid, so no surprise there.

And Whitney is funny! ( is she one of those people ‘we’re’ not supposed to like?) I’m very glad it’s been renewed and I wish that funny, blunt lady the best!

  13. the original bellaluna says:

No wonder MeAnn didn’t move to Chicago. I think EC should thank her, as she is totally unwilling (or unable) to sit down and shut up for longer than 5 minutes. (Countdown to relationship implosion in 3…2…1)

And who in this Parents’ Club (or whatever) is allowing their children to watch a show like this that’s on at 10 o’clock on a school night? I mean, let’s call a spade a spade: if you’re offended by EC’s prior behaviour, don’t hide behind your kids and act like you’re protecting them from something you shouldn’t be allowing them to watch in the first place!!

Last I checked, it was a PARENT’S place to instill values and morals in their children, not a TV SHOW’S.

  14. monette says:

haha…and this makes 2 good gossip news. Kaiser can you make it a strike please? Please, please. I’m wishing for the mother load of gossip: The Kardashians!….all gone.Puff!

  15. renesees says:

Hey Leann– (cause we all know you read CB!)
Have a SWINGIN good time tonight on the Leno Show on NBC—the network that agrees with 75% of the population that your hubs needs to go back to acting school! Next time, don’t CHEAT with a MARRIED “ACTOR” and SWF the ex-wife all the while preaching how good and pure you are. Chicago will NOT miss you as you did nothing for the restaurants re: business! Ugh, VAPID.

  16. kas says:

The show was awful. I tried. (I like Amber Heard too.)

It’s like Eddie is trying to eye-f*** everyone he looks at. Just awful.

  17. Lucy says:

That drunk that ran into the fence was proably Brandi his ex she is a drunk.

  18. Emma says:

@ #3..yes, what is that stupid squinty face he is making? Oh, thats right, it’s permanent. Probably from having to look at LR all day..oh, and being around her. Her squintiness is rubbing off on him.

  19. brin says:

Party over here! Rita’s singing and I’m pouring the shots…Here’s to the Rimes-Cibrians…can’t wait to see what the rest of the week (and karma) brings to them!
    @dorothy…lol!

  20. Samigirl says:

This is…awesome. Just, excellent. I liked the rest of the cast, but EC sucks, so yaya!

I would KILL to hear what Brandi says when she finds out 🙂

  21. Jo says:

Hahahahaha! Justice for the viewing public. Pitiful excuses for decent human beings. Vile disgusting putrid morons with no souls. And that’s how I really feel.

  22. Jules says:

    Karma baby

  23. Orange Cone says:

JLove is a day late and a dollar short! Those dresses are in the clearance bin…

  24. MollyB says:

I never watched Playboy Club but I know Sean Maher was in it and I always root for my Firefly alums. I want him to land a great show!

  25. Ron says:

Why is there karma involved in the show cancellation? Because he’s a cheater? The show was not terrible either,no work of amazing art, but not terrible. It had a bad time slot. Networks never give show time to build anymore.

  26. mzjask says:

way to put it in words #3, @Stonegoddess!!
    couldnt agree More!
    good riddance.
now lets hope LR can take a hint. hey, how bout they move to italy? HAHA

  27. jessie says:

Good thing he married that anorexic ditz with a voice that should only be heard singing called PLAN B!

  28. YvetteW says:

I remember watching Third Watch and thinking he was kinda cute but portrayed the essence of his character’s roguish ways. Maybe he wasn’t acting and kinda cute isn’t cutting it anymore.

  29. Nancy C. says:

i’ve been noticing a resemblance between eddie and leann. he was much better looking in the movie they did together.

  30. Denise says:

Hahahahahahahahaha……Leeann can show him how tweeting passes the time.

  31. Emily says:

LMAO that headline just made my day

  32. I Run New York says:

    AMAZING NEWS!

  33. Crittle says:

EC was trying really hard to be Don Draper. Maybe if he was a better actor he wouldn’t have to resort to copying a superior performance and he wouldn’t have embarrassed himself.

  34. dave says:

what show an’ who is that guy?

  35. Jayna says:

People are so dumb. Why happy? If it was a huge success, Brandi’s child support would go up. An out-of-work ex isn’t good news to any woman receiving child support.

  36. theaPie says:

    Meh, I’m with Ron.

  37. Violet says:

LeAnn must be so torn! On one hand, she must hate that her husband struck out. On the other hand, he’s currently living in a different city, surrounded by temptation and he’s a weak man.

Now that the show has been cancelled, he’ll come home where LeAnn can keep a better eye on him.

  38. Lily Rose says:

The worst thing that this guy did for his life, professionally and personally, was hooking up with sea biscuit. End of story.

  39. Stonegodess says:

“18.Lucy: October 4th, 2011 at 2:44 pm That drunk that ran into the fence was proably Brandi his ex she is a drunk.”

    Nice try Leann.

Actually Brandi was most likely busy yesterday WORKING on a successful show people actually like. Or possibly looking after her children while her loser ex chases after his meal ticket.

And judging by your spelling ability it seems you may have a cocktail or two yourself today!

  40. I Run New York says:

“People are so dumb. Why happy?”

I’m happy that such a slezzy show is off the air. Playboy degrades and objectifies women. It’s great that there’s one less sexist program on the air 🙂

  41. Madisyn says:

I’m going to be totally in the minority here, but I liked the show. F*ck Eddie, I liked the show for the nostalgia, the swingin 60’s, etc. I agree, they put it in a tough time slot. It was never going to beat Castle and Hawaii 5-0. This is why I hate watching new shows because I find ones I like and then they cancel them before conclusion. Case in point, 2 little shows I loved and were mystery-type shows, Reunion and Vanished and they never had the reveal. I hate that!

  42. renesees says:

    @jayna

I am not “happy” that he lost a paying job; more like confident that his wife will have more opportunities with RHOBH. The karma I speak of is the black pall that hovers around a certain Hidden Hills house with a broken fence. Really, it is quite funny as to how it relates to their representation in the real world. It is more prevalent now that Leann Rimes tweets incessantly as to just how much they are really not liked. It is well known in LA, just as Brandi confirmed, just how D-List they truly are.

  43. brin says:

@I Run New York….and one less crappy actor.

  44. dave says:

    adding #35

    Srsly who is this guy?

  45. Susan O. says:

Will this ax falling chop Brandi’s support payments? I think it would. It could all be up to her now as I doubt he’ll be employable. The boys willbe spending more time with their dad again. Better than the foul mouthed mom

  46. Stonegodess says:

    @ #35 & #45 – just a douche with no talent other than dinking a d-list anorexic “singer”

  47. CC says:

Good times! D-bag Eddie should stick to pap opportunities as his “career”.

  48. Iggles says:

I agree with Ron and theaPie.

The show was pretty meh. No worse than Pan Am. I don’t think it’s karma or anything, because there’s tons of other people on the show who just lost their paycheck too.

  49. brin says:

O Susan… much as this must pain you, Brandi is the working parent now and she has always taken good care of her boys.

  50. Stonegodess says:

The rest of the talent on that show did just lose jobs and that is sad. There was some very talented people on that show. Amber Heard is a cutie and quite a good actress I think.

However, I like to think for EC specifically that it’s karma. I do not feel sorry for him at all. He has hidden behind his meal ticket for months while she abused his ex in all sorts of indsidious and stalkerish ways.

Any man worth his salt would never allow his new peice to disrespect the mother of his kids that way. Nor would he disrespect her that way either.

He’s in love with her wallet (& the publicity he has gained via her big mouth) so he keeps his mouth shut.

  51. Camille says:

Bummer for Amber Heard and the rest of the people that worked on the show, but haha @Eddie.

  52. Susan O. says:

Karma is something we don’t know about. Was it Brandi’s bad karma to lose the man she loved, break her ankle, get into an accident over which she was sued and on and on? Most likely it was some bad karma.
Actually Brandi has had tons of help raising the boys…EC,his parents, nannies, housekeepers and assorted helping hands. Read the documents to see what she claims was her lifestyle.Quoting from those not writing tales like some

  53. Rita says:

    @stonegodess

Your comment #51 just rocks it all the way (don’t want your other comments to feel slighted but #51 is a dong straightener….I think that’s the term).

  54. hatsumomo says:

I hope Whitney is the next to get axed. That bitch is annoying to no end.

  55. Jover says:

Didn’t see the show but in today’s media environment the cosby show, seinfeld, cheers, friends would have never made it. Whatever the show’s merits how can it be cancelled after 1 episode, do parakeets run the networks. Please not another reality show – weight loss, meets survivor meets wannebee singing stars. And all the hype for the show don’t understand the networks.

  56. Stonegodess says:

@ Jover, it was actually 3 episodes and after each one they realized that the ratings had sunk lower.

@ Rita, thanks! That’s actually quite a compliment coming from you. I am a regular CBer and always look forward to your comments. You are usually spot on w/ your observations of Falcor and the Willnot.

    They suck.

  57. cr says:

I Run New York: “I’m happy that such a slezzy show is off the air. Playboy degrades and objectifies women. It’s great that there’s one less sexist program on the air”
Back in the days when I worked in a bookstore, we used to sell what would be termed ‘porn’ (the mag distributer called them ‘sophisticates’). Playboy is the epitome of class and admiration of women compared to 99.9% of what’s out there.

  58. gee says:

    I liked this show 🙁

  59. Annie_Grey says:

    Woo celebrate!

cr-It may not be porn, but it still objectifies women.

  60. abbizmal says:

That’s good news and all I have to say is:
    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  61. Cerulean says:

And down the drain his career opportunities go.

Oh well he and Sleazeann always have each other.

  62. Nancy says:

    LOL @ the headline.

  63. June says:

I sort of believe that anyone shocked about this cancellation has NEVER seen Mad Men. Or maybe just has watered down taste. I’m gonna be nice and go with the first assumption.

  64. tracy vaiuso says:

I was unaware that this had already aired.

  65. why? says:

NBC has no one to blame but themselves. NBC knew full well what was going to happen to PBC because the same thing happened to Chase, EC Hallmark movie, and CSI when NBC/CBS continued to sit back as EC and LR saturated the media with their DAILY staged pda and happy family photo-ops.

PBC was never about women’s empowerment or the other actors/actresses, it’s why the promotion of this show strictly involved DAILY shots of LR and EC and EC kids. It’s why LR was giving interviews about the show and it’s why NBC set it up for LR to appear on the show. NBC has made up for this cancellation by replacing it with an interview with Maya A and this will also not over well with the public because everyone knows that Maya A could have selected someone who truly deserves to be honored.

Did I hear that right? LR has an appearance on Leno? No wonder someone is out in full force, trying to prepare for it by attacking BG. So EC kids were exploited twice over the weekend because their bonus mother had an interview with Maya A and Leno. Who is advising LR? So she is going to go on Leno, talk about EC kids and how she didn’t have the tools to say no to a married man? And then when Wednesday morning rolls around and the backlash against LR and EC has gotten 10X worse(and we know this will happen because it it happens EVERYTIME that they go on these media blitzes) than before, LR will boo hoo about how people don’t have the right to judge her because they don’t know her.

If NBC was smart, they would cut ties with EC and LR until next year or least put them on time outs.

  66. cr says:

Annie_Grey, I didn’t say it didn’t. It’s still a step above most of what’s out there. Sadly so.

  67. Trillion says:

Amber Heard is cursed. Has she ever been in anything good? Yes, she’s a pretty girl but everything I’ve seen her in has been embarrassingly awful.

  68. why? says:

The description of last nights episode of PBC says that EC character gets involved in a fake relationship with a rich heiress for MONEY? Does it remind anyone of anything at all?

EC marriage and relationship to LR with the only difference being that LR isn’t a heiress.

Fake relationship. Fake dinner. Fake kiss. Yeap, this description of PBC episode 3 sounds exactly like LR and EC relationship/marriage since we are constantly seeing staged photos of them at Nobu and constantly kissing. And of course after declaring that he doesn’t have any money, LR takes EC on an expensive trips or buys him a nice gift at JP.

See PBC did use EC and LR relationship as inspiration for their show, I don’t think that EC and LR caught on that this part of the episode was about them.

  69. mouth.like.a.sailor says:

ok, ok, ok!!! apparently i seem to be in the minority here (and everywhere else!) but i actually liked the show…. i really did… i was actually just online trying to find the 3rd episode to watch and then i read the headlines on my Yahoo news, this was the first fall season cancellation. listen, i know that guy was really annoying as the lead male character, but i really liked Amber Heard and all the other little bunnies… and i liked the mob/murder/politics angle it had going… and i REALLY appreciated the underground gay/lesbian thread running through all of it- it’s not meant to be a running social commentary of back then and now, it was just supposed to be brightly colored, innocently-sexy, 1960’s nostalgic fluff.

to be honest with you, at this point in my life and with what seems to be the entire world and all of society crumbling around myself and everyone else, once i get my kids to bed- i look forward to sitting down and tuning out my brain for an hour or so. and this was swingin’60’s style and fabulousness at it’s funnest and most innocent!!! IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE MAD MEN. DUH. and out of all the crap that is on TV… and STAYS on TV… i’m tired of the big networks putting shows on and then not giving them a chance to even out, or tell a story, or pick up some momentum!!! kudos to the poster above that said in this day and age, The Cosby Show, Cheers, and other such amazing shows would never have made the cut – granted, this show was no Cheers, but still!!! at least let it’s season play out. how can the networks stand to lose sooooo much money on these shows and then pull them so quickly, that’s what i want to know??? cuz i know darn well that show wasn’t cheap to make!!! the costumes and the clothing and some of the sets were fantastic&incredibly rich looking – they did a REALLY good job of pulling it all together and making it look like my 1960’s fantasy world

  70. KatScorp says:

Good news just starts the day off right. That’s Kaiser, now I’ll have something to think and smile about while I’m donating blood this morning.

I adore Sean Maher and feel sad that the show he come out on is now cancelled. That said, Eddie Cibrian can’t carry any show. Stonegoddess’ comment #3 coined it; Mr Rimes can’t act.

  71. hatekyle says:

i’m so happy it got cancelled. cheers leann!

  72. why? says:

    mouthlikeasailor,

Did you see some of the comments that the former bunnies said about this show? They were not thrilled on how the show portrayed them. Many of them flat out stated that this show totally missed the mark. Many people thought it was wrong of NBC to push this show as one that empowers women, when they depicted the total opposite of that.

Since this is the what, the 3rd time that EC has lost a job, it’s safe to say that the demise of PBC came about as a result of NBC putting their friendship with EC and LR before their viewers. This show could have been saved, but NBC allowed EC and LR to get out of control and rather than put the women at the forefront, NBC opted to push EC and LR and only EC and LR.

Your handwriting looks very familiar, where have I seen it before?

  73. I Run New York says:

“Playboy is the epitome of class and admiration of women compared to 99.9% of what’s out there. ”

Admiration of women? Or admiration of titties and ass? Playboy degrades and objectifies women. I’m sure you could find stuff that is way worse (there’s all kind of depraved stuff on the internet i.e. beastiality) That doesn’t make playboy any less sexist or offensive to women. Very happy, viewership was low and it was taken off the air. It’s a small victory but still a good one.

  74. Mitch Buchanan Rocks says:

Maybe another network will pick up the show?

  75. Auds says:

A lot of shows on network tv are utter crap lately.
I’m at a loss as to why The Mentalist is successful. As for the latest version of Charlie’s Angels: how many more cliched lines can one hear?

  76. Memphis says:

Not surprised.. I bet Leann is thrilled about having Eddie back home under her ever watchful (squinty) eyes and away from cute bunnies.

  77. Callli Pygian says:

I have never watched the program, but he looks good in character, which leads me to ask this: wtf does he see in LR ( well, duh, beside her money)… how long now, after this ego thumping, will it be before we hear about his wandering eye becoming a wandering wanker?

  78. JaneWonderfalls says:

This show got cancelled after how many episodes? I didn’t watch but gosh it must have been horrible in the ratings…

  79. judyjudy says:

Those pictures of Jennifer Love Hewitt in that pink dress made me feel really good about myself. Thanks JLH!

  80. Callumna says:

He’s so good lookin it’s really Leanne and his awful dirt to his wife that makes him fug.

Pic next to Leanne and there’s nothing that could make me watch him.

I’d love to tell him what to do, but you can’t Pierce Brosnan it now, guy.

Failed the image n fantasy game, which in his biz pretty much IS the game.

  81. Carolyn says:

Playboy as a concept is dated and tired. No wonder the show flopped. Yes to #34 he is trying to be Hamm. Some people just become their characters (eg. Mad Men cast) and you care what happens, others look like they’re playing dress up in mum & dad’s cupboard. Eddie is in the later category.

  82. Dibba says:

    Bad kharma.

  83. Jezi says:

@Susan O Wow…haha! Brandi had help when they had money and there is nothing wrong with that. She was also the only one home with her boys while Eddie was off filming movies, going on boy’s trips with his mistresses and doing whatever else when they were married. The time Eddie spends now with the boys is short and they are also accompanied by nannies while they are actually there with the boys.

As for the show. I’m sad it was canceled because I know Brandi wanted the show to succeed, it would’ve been helpful to her. But as I told her, she is a rising star and will be just fine. But I understand her worries.

  84. brin says:

And the hits keep on coming….looks like Eddie hurt his Achilles heel (his actual heel, not Leann) and had to get stitches. Turning into quite a week for Leddie.

  85. Jezi says:

    @brin I heard!!!! Crazy!

  86. Linda says:

Well, just finished listening to Chicago’s WGN Channel 9 Morning News and according to the entertainment commentator, Dean Richards, Eddie Cibrian injured his leg last night in Chicago under some steel door (or something to that effect) while filming an episode for TPC. He also mentioned that this will be the last week of them filming ‘The Playboy Club’ and that they are hoping it will be picked up by some other network.

I’m sure LeAnn will be tweeting about it very soon if she hasn’t already.

What a BAD WEEK for Eddie.

  87. Jezi says:

Leann retweeted a tweet from one of her “haters”, the tweets she swears she never looks at about Stepfamilies dealing with parents who won’t follow custody rules. Which was geared towards Eddie and Leann (ex. when they took the boys out of state without letting Brandi know), but used it for her own personal taunting. Leann is desperately trying to continue to ruin Eddie’s career with her bullshit. So doubtful it will get picked up.

  88. brin says:

Hey Jezi! And she has the gall to go on Ellen and say people are bullying her! She really is ruining any chance he has.

  89. Linda says:

    @Jezi

I agree as well, cannot see it being picked up ever again.

Tia (ebonyshiksa) said it best, Eddie is TV’s Kryptonite–sucks to be Eddie.

  90. Jezi says:

@brin and Linda If I was Eddie’s PR team, I would tell my client to get the heck away from LR. Nobody buys the true LovE story and even though he was never a huge A-list actor, he still was able to get opportunities. Ever since Leann, his career has gone down the toilet. She’s taking the appeal out of him. He’s still a good looking guy. I believe he could save his career by getting a divorce and publicly apologizing to Brandi for all he did to her and all he allowed Leann to do to her and I can bet he will land roles again. As long as it is genuine it will redeem him. People dislike Leann more than they do Eddie but she brings him down. That’s MO anyway.

  91. brin says:

@Jezi…I agree, it couldn’t hurt and could possibly help save his career but I just don’t see him doing it (whether it’s the money or false pride).
BTW, how’s married life for you? A lot happier than these two, I’m sure!

  92. Linda says:

On the same day that his show is cancelled, he’s injured too. Now that’s KARMA!!!

  93. Jezi says:

@brin Eh, it’s the same. LOL. When you’ve been together for 8 1/2 years, it really was already like a marriage. The only difference is I wear 2 rings instead of 1 and he wears a band. Other than that no difference.

  94. KARMA says:

when does billboard.com update its official list, they just posted whos at the top of the charts on this linkhttp://www.billboard.com/#/news/j-cole-debuts-at-no-1-on-billboard-200-blink-1005384552.story
but the website hasn’t updated the top albums yet since bennet is still number one..cant wait to see how many records wewe sold since the tweles were bragging last night that shes number 2 on itunes but i just checked and she not even top 10 for country music on itunes

  95. dena says:

Guys, I apologize for this ahead of time, but:

    hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t wait to sneer at Leanne Rimes about this on Twitter.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  96. dena says:

She blocked me on Twitter. Oh wells.

  97. Stonegoddess says:

@#98: She blocks everyone that doesn’t buy into her unicorns and rainbow farts. She is so happy in her delusional world of awesomness.

She made her Twitter private for about a week but then changed it back. Couldn’t stand not spewing her shit to the world. I think it’s hilarious personally.

  98. Linda says:

How absolutely sadden LeAnn will be when this all ends for her…and deservedly so.

You cannot do what she does to human beings and genuinely get away with it; there is a God.

How little of a man you are. LeAnn has once again taunted/bullied Brandi with a tweet regarding stepfamilies and the “Ex”.

Listen up Eddie, LeAnn throws jabs at Brandi, the mother of your children (children who are flesh of your flesh and bone of your bone), and you do nothing about it–you just sit there and allow her to do it!! In the end, do not expect life to be good to you.

  99. brin says:

Speaking of hilarious….Leann’s mantra seems to be “everything happens for a reason”. Does she not realize that SHE is the reason?!

  100. KARMA says:

ok billboard still hasnt updated but i checked hdd sales which is like billboard but is sometimes off by like a thousand or so and they have leann album at number 46 selling only about 9,000 copies..does anyone know if this is legit because i didnt think it was possible to sell so litte yikes..her last album did 70,000 in its first week, but once again idk if hdd is accurate because that numbers seems beyond low, even for wewe check it out

    http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgi

  101. brin says:

    LOL@Stonegoddess!

  102. Truthful says:

LeAnne is his bad luck charm, WATCH

he likes working, he gonna get reaaal mean soon.

  103. brin says:

Just saw a segment on NY Live called “When cheating ruins careers”…of course Leann was the first one they mentioned and they said her album sold just 9,000 copies.
Wonder if this is the tipping point.

  104. KARMA says:

bwhahah so her album really did only sell around 9,000? how is that even possible, dang i knew people didnt like her but only 9,000..that is BEYOND pathetic..if you look at the link i put in my previous post, albums that were out last year are ahead of her..i hope media outlets talk about her latest flop like they did with Christina A, JLO etc..Im laughing because the tweles were bragging last night “shes number 2 etc” little do they know that she sold so little..her last album did 7 times that amount and was considered a flop..this is a MEGA FLOP

  105. surlymonkey says:

I think everyone is pretty right on in their assessment of this situation.

One of the smart girls on twitter (either Tia or Annie) pointed out that women don’t fantasize about a cheating fool and men don’t identify with a man that would ride LeAnn Rimes for an AmEx and bottle of Don Julio.

Yo Cibrian! Pretend you want to have a career and black AmEx of your own again someday. If you do LovE LeAnn, man up, take her by the reigns and put her in her barn for a rest. Get her out of the public arena and tighten her bridle so that she can’t speak or tweet for at least a 3 month period. Strap on an extra feed bag and let time and rolled oats try to salvage what is left of the both of you.

While she is otherwise occupied, read up on how real men treat the mother of their children. You can start right here at Celebitchy with Idris Elba:

On his daughter, Isan: “My daughter’s with me now for three weeks and I love it; I absolutely love it,” Elba tells the magazine. “I don’t know how I’d manage to be on seven flights a month and still get her to school.”

(Meaning he is GRATEFUL that his ex takes care of the child they brought in to the world together)

On his ex-wife: “I’m grateful to my ex-wife, [Isan’s] mother, and I’m grateful I get to live my dream. At the same time, I miss things, which I regret,” he adds.

(See, Eddie? Gratitude to the Ex makes you HOT to almost every woman with a pulse. It means you understand RESPECT and real LOVE not, you know, that silly LovE you’ve been trying to sell)

You did the press rounds with this show, trying to sell us on “you” but unfortunately, all anyone will ever see and talk about is the delusional donkey that you have willingly strapped to your cart.

  106. Jezi says:

@brin and @Karma you would think this would make her be quiet but I really think this will never happen.

@Truthful I sooooo agree with you. I think he likes being adored and he will now become resentful. I hope that he takes out his resentment on the person who deserves it, himself and Leann and not on Brandi. Whom he blames because she didn’t put up with his cheating ways and made public the mistreatment during their divorce.

  107. Stonegoddess says:

What I am waiting for is the obligatory sympathy (pre-arranged) photo op of them. Him on his crutches/in bandages and for us all to feel sorry for him.

Oh – look his show gets cancelled, he gets injured poor Eddie —NOT!

Can’t beleive how bad her album did. I mean I didn’t expect it to rocket up the charts but for it to do THAT badly, pretty telling of her popularity.

There are way better or at least comparable singers out there that don’t have to stage photo ops & crap to sell albums.

They actually rely on their talent and good reputation – what a freakin concept eh Leann?

  108. KARMA says:

I stand corrected wewe came at number 32 bwahaha here is the article and i love this quote
“Some less impressive bows: Machine Head at No. 22, Gloria Estefan at No. 28, Jason Derulo at No. 29, and LeAnn Rimes – lately, much more of a tabloid than chart fixture — at a lean No. 32”
    http://www.thewrap.com/music/column-post/charts-freshman-rapper-j-cole-routs-blink-182s-comeback-31576
you think the tweles will post this lmao

  109. brin says:

Well this has been a bad week for them both and that’s why I’m wondering if this could be the tipping point. I mean we know this isn’t the relationship she presents to the public so maybe the strain will start to show.
ITA with you all that Eddie will never have respect til he either controls this trainwreck or leaves it.

  110. Lady D says:

    “LOL@Stonegoddess!” Yes.

  111. Messenger Of Truth says:

    @KARMA

Soundscan Canada Top Country Albums – #13
Soundscan Canada Top Albums – #100

  112. Mae says:

EDDIE..it’s called Karma man. Wake up! Don’t keep going down the same path making the same mistakes. You and Leann go around shoving your fake smiles and pictures of each other in the worlds face and believe it or not people don’t like happy cheaters and family breakers. Your Karma will change on a dime…if you regain it back. YOu know what to do,.

  113. KatScorp says:

Aw man, wish I didn’t need sleep. I miss out on all the fun stuff.

Forget the charts people, check out the SALES NUMBERS. ‘Lady and Gentlemen’ sold 8,988 copies!

    Then WeWe tweeted:
A HUGE thank you to my fans all across the world for making “Lady & Gentelmen” (sic) a great success. This was such an art album and I’m so pleased how well it’s been received by the fans & critics. Much love to you all!

    Ah, the schadenfreude 😀

  114. mouth.like.a.sailor says:

dont get me wrong, i TOTALLY get what’s wrong with this show – on.every.level – but speaking as a 32yr old mother of 2 kids that i homeschool, with a circa 1918 3 story townhouse that i just bought in april filled with tons of 1950s & 1960s kitsch and non-stop plumbing problems… i am an extremely stressed out woman who doesn’t mind a glossed over piece of candy coated fluff every once in a while just to help kill the brain for an hour or two. is that so wrong??

i did hate their casting for the lead male tho – he sucked! as you all obviously have pointed out. i would have been happy just to let it ride its season out and then call it a day. my biggest pet peeve is that networks pull the shows mid-season like this… just let it play out, give whatever fans the shows DID have the satisfaction of a story arc

  115. Rita says:

    @Katscorp

How terribly sad that LeAnn has 988 fans left in the world…..and 8,000 copies of her own album.

    Nighty, night love.

  116. why? says:

The best thing about the EC and LR saga is that it provides us with a detailed first look of how the pr machine works in HW. So someone thinks that they can redeem or save EC and LR rep/careers by heavily tugging on the sympathy card. So rather than have LR and EC lay low which would have made all the difference in the world, NBC opted to repair EC and LR images by underestimating the public’s intelligence. You would have thought that they had learned their lesson with Chase and PBC.

    1) The first step apparently involves making people feel sorry for EC and LR by putting them in vulnerable situations. Cue the accidents. First the internet is bombareded with stories about how a drunk driver ran into LR’s house, oh yeah that’s right. He didn’t hit the house, he hit the fence, but LR surely played it up like her, EC, and the kid’s lives and her house were in danger.

When that failed to gain sympathy, out come the reports of EC injuring himself on the set. Now where did they get this idea? So they saw how much support BG received when she showed up on RHOBH is a cast and decided to SWF it? Who wants to bet that EC was REALLY injured in an incident involving his mistress? Oh no how is EC going to attend LR concerts with an injured tendon? I guess LR is just going to have to cancel her concerts.

    2) Getting iconic figures to support LR and talk about how she inspires them. Yes, what better way to convince the public that LR is a sweet and nice person, than to have someone such as Maya A befriend LR. Do LR and her pr people think that the public is stupid? While this stunt with Maya A might work with the media, the public isn’t falling for it because LR continues to be so inappropriate on twitter and in her staged photo-ops.

An interview with Maya A only raises more disgust for LR because everyone is questioning why anyone would pick LR for this special tribute. Well the netowrk is the Hallmark Channel, the same network that offered EC a job in the midst of his affair with LR.

4)Have her mouthpieces (Radaronline and x17) write a fluff piece about how LR former enemy (GR) has had a change of heart because they dined at Nobu together. That didn’t happen, but that is what LR and her pr told her mouthpieces to write, so that is the story they are going to sell. How odd that both Radaronline and x7 say that GR was at Nobu with LR, but if that was true they would have made sure to get a photo of GR.

    5) Have Leann featured in the NoH8 campaign. Yes, can you believe it? Considering what happened with her road manager two weeks ago does LR really think it’s a good idea to do this? Isn’t that quite hypocritical? LR is at the center of the hate that is directed at BG and even encourages her fans to attack BG. So who thought it was a good idea for LR to do this photospread for NoH8 and did these people check out who Leann is tweeting to before they asked her to do the spread?

    6) Set up photo-ops with EC kids to remind everyone to be nice to EC because without a job he can’t support his kids; even though he is able to go on shopping sprees, trips, and buy Don Julio during this inability to pay his child support.

    7) LR tries to expand her fanbase by having her name and face associated with celebs that have huge fanbases. So when Kim K is on Leno, so is LR. To drum up interest in her concerts, she sings Adeles songs.

  117. LucyLou says:

Album flopped, PBC canned, fence-o-cide, and now Eddie has an injured foot like Brandi did. Do you think Stan will get jealous since Ed and B have something in common and break out her ACE bandage again?

This crap just gets better and better. Cue the suspense music boys, the tides they are a changing.

  118. bettyrose says:

I hadn’t watched the show – although I probably would have at some point. I’m a huge fan of Mad Men and I love Chicago. I think the real problem with the show, though, was that it was trying to ride Mad Men’s wave, and they made the hugely erroneous assumption that straight men watch Mad Men or want to wallow in sixties nostalgia.
Funny how Pan Am – which I’m already hooked on – is doing just great. Hmm.

  119. Paige says:

I just saw on someone’s twitter (Annie I think, comic genious) a picture of Kathy Bates with a sledgehammer from that movie “Misery”. Maybe Ed heard PBC was cancelled and tried to make a run for it and got hammered! I have been laughing at that for 20 minutes. Karma Masterpiece Theater!

  120. why? says:

Wow, Leann’s album only sold 9,000 copies? 9,000 copies? You would have thought she had sold much more than that considering how her song was ranked on Itunes. So then we were right to suspect that something shady was going on on Itunes with her album.

The fact that she only sold 9,000 copies also explains why someone was sitting on another site writing positive reviews for LR album using several different names because they used the same handwriting for each name they used. The album wasn’t selling and they needed to hype it up.

I just had to repost this again: “and LeAnn Rimes – lately, much more of a tabloid than chart fixture”.

So what will the next staged photo-op be? LR pushing EC in a wheelchair at LAX because she is such a devoted wife? Candid photos of EC parents and his kids arriving or leaving the hospital?

  121. judyjudy says:

I’m starting to think that the only thing crazier than Leann Rimes is the Leann Rimes anti-fans. I think her antics are entertaining (in the “ha-ha, look what dummy did today!” kind of way) but some of you seem very, very invested in everything she does. I don’t get it.

  122. why? says:

Wow another “you are very, very invested in this” post?

And you know what that means. Leann Rimes is setting up a staged photo-op as we speak to release to one of her mouthpieces.

Of course camp Leann Rimes never gets it, it’s why NBC is trying to play on people’s sympathies to save EC and LR rep and it’s why we can predict that come Thursday morning or afternoon, another staged photo-op of LR with EC will appear on certain blogs.

  123. KatScorp says:

LMAO Rita! Didn’t you, Brin, Goddess or Jezi mention something about several thousand downloads of this album having been available for just $2 on the first day of release? That makes these numbers even funnier 😀 And now the price is down to $5 in a desperate bid to boost sales. So much fun!

    Here’s my reference site: http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgi
    numero 46

I’m about 11 to 14 hours ahead of the States, so when you gals start the crack tailgate parties, it’s usually 10-11pm for me and I’m too tired to join in the discussions. But we just hit spring and in the warmer months I’ll be more awake, just in time for Linnocent to fail her probation work. Good times ahead 😉

And finally, Kaiser I want to point out that LeAnn tweeted she was flying “home” to Chicago. That interview/spokeperson claim that she was living in LA whilst the husband sleazed it up in the windy city was completely bogus – to make people think she wasn’t living in Chicago and insecure about her hubby’s wandering peen.

FYI judyjudy I could never get into reality TV. *shrug*

  124. brin says:

Mornin peeps! “The Misery” idea is genius! Fits perfectly. It’s a new day, wonder what’s in store for the shameless duo.

  125. brin says:

@KatScorp…Can’t wait for you to join in on the Lilo Cracktailgate parties…you are a welcome addition, always love your comments! The cracktinis and Red bull & vodka will be flowing…cheers!

  126. why? says:

Did I call it or what?

Just like I suspected, today, Leann released yet another staged photo-op of herself dining/shopping in Chicago on Wednesday. It wasn’t the LAX or hospital photos that I was expecting, but perhaps that is what LR has planned for today and Friday when they will have access to EC kids.

Why oh why is camp Leann Rimes oh so predictable? So when the “you are way too invested in this” posts show up, expect it to be followed by staged photo-ops of LR and her happy family.

So what was the purpose in releasing the photos of her in Chicago on Wednesday? To cover up the fact that her hubby was injured on the set while messing around with this mistress? Or was this staged photo-op in Chicago on Wednesday just another means to convince people that EC and LR are well liked/popular because now the chef of the place where she dined is hugging her? So now we can ad the Chef of a Chicago restaurant to the growing list of LR supporters which includes Maya A, GR, Kim K, Ryan S girlfriend, and Adele?
