Ali Lohan “vamps” it up for her first magazine cover: poor, poor Ali?

ali2

Yesterday, I noted that in photos from the past week, Ali Lohan was no longer looking as jacked as she was during NY Fashion Week. I was surprised by how little you bitches cared. Don’t you want to SAVE ALI? Please? She’s only 17 years old. She’s spent the last seven years watching (court-side) as her older sister deteriorates into a crack-addled mess. She’s barely educated, and her mother and sister have only encouraged her to seek FAME at all costs. It’s truly a wonder she’s still alive. Pay attention!

Anyway, these are new photos of Ali. I know! In some of the pics, you can’t even tell. She just got her first magazine cover – she’s the cover girl for the winter issue of Fault Magazine, a magazine I’ve never heard of. It’s probably one of those “Lovecat Magazine” deals.

She’s come under fire for her recent weight loss, but the fashion industry doesn’t appear to think Ali Lohan is too thin. Lindsay Lohan’s 17-year-old sister has landed her first double cover since signing a contract with NEXT Model Management in August.

The teenager is reasonably covered up in most of her Fault photographs, clad in a variety of figure-concealing pieces. She is shot in black and white for the winter 2011 issue, which will become available this November.

The pictures belie a maturity far beyond Ali’s tender years; with her black bob, heavy brows and strongly applied makeup, she looks at least ten years older.

It has been suggested that her new look is the result of plastic surgery, though her sister has defended her against criticism.

‘I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin! My sister is gorgeous and I’m so proud of her and her career!!!!’ Lindsay Lohan tweeted recently. She denied rumors that Ali had work done on her face, after a plastic surgeon offered his opinion that her new look was the result of botox and fillers, and is vehement that her 5 foot 8 sibling isn’t underweight.

The NEXT agency has also denied the reports. Alexis Bores, the agency director of the modelling firm, told E! News: ‘Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it’s natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape.’

[From The Mail]

“We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape.” Not is Mother Crackhead has anything to say about it. Also, I know it’s totally wrong to talk about a 17-year-old’s rack, but seriously, Ali used to have breast implants and now she doesn’t. That speaks volumes (to me) about Dina Lohan’s parenting. First, she let her teenage daughter get implants at God knows what age (15? 16?), and then Dina let Ali take out the implants to get work as a “model.”

One last thing – it’s interesting that this photo shoot came out on the day that Linnocent’s probation was revoked. It’s like Dina employs a “one in, one out” philosophy to child-rearing/pimping. Linnocent is all used up, so Ali’s time has come.

The whole thing is ridiculous. The only reason this girl is getting any work is because her sister is Crackie. What a joke.

So sad, one down, next. These poor young woman don’t stand a chance, their parents are incapable of parenting and seem to simply use their children as a paycheck. I feel sorry for Lindsay and her sister.

I hope Ali cuts her mother (and rest of the family) the hell out.
I know it sounds like a horrible thing to say to a daughter, but Dina seems a terrible and avid user who sucks everything she can from her children and then abandons them dry and f*cked up.
Ali, you don’t need that. God knows what people already did to you (unneeded plastic surgery, possibly already introduced to drugs and don’t get me started with pervert-filled-club going at a very early age): stop all of it now and cut the bad influences OUT.

    Holy cr@p.
At first I thought I’d hate the photos, but 2 are not bad.
The first one is horrible, that angle is not flattering to her face.
The third one, she’s giving the bird.
The second one is actually quite striking, as is the fourth one (minus those hideous talons).
But I agree, the b&w freckles are HIDEOUS. I like freckles, I have freckles, my daughter is a redhead so I know freckles. But at such a young age to have so many??? They should have moved the photoshop tool from her face to her chest/arms.

It really is f-ed up timing for Ali’s career debut. I find these photos to be unflattering to her… Too high contrast (giving her a ‘pointy’ look all over).

Plus that hair… God, that hair….

(Did anyone else else find that “but the fashion industry doesn’t seem to think she’s too thin…” thing at once both terribly amusing & concerning? They’re the group that always jumps on the ‘too thin’ bandwagon last, so their opinion means nothing.

@AtlantaPug“I like freckles, I have freckles, my daughter is a redhead so I know freckles. But at such a young age to have so many??”

Someone’s age has nothing to do with how many freckles they have, are you sure you aren’t thinking about ‘moles’?

@StephanieMarie” I’m sure there are some freckly bitches that come on here and they don’t need to read that freckle-hate first thing in the morning.”

As a freckly bitch myself, I didn’t take any real offense to the comments, but to each their own. I think B&W pics are unforgiving where freckles are concerned.

I like the freckles. I would never want to see them covered up. But those eyebrows? Good lord they need thinned out, in my opinion.

Speaking of freckles – the first time I saw a photo of Bob Saget, outside of what I saw of him on Full House, was a real shocker. I didn’t recognize him at first, all those freckles! They must have really had to layer on the foundation to cover up those on the show.

I’d no more see Ali cover her freckles than Padma Lakshmi cover her scar or Jay Leno hide his chin. Those “imperfections” are apart of what makes that person who they are.

The freckles are cute. Of course, I’m freckly, so I share the freckle face/chest love. Some of the pictures really aren’t terrible, but that hair/wig thing is awful. Also, I never thought she had implants, because Lindsay is really top heavy, but when she lost a lot of weight, she still had big breasts. Ali has never been big, but I don’t think her breasts would have gone down just from losing 10, 15 pounds…

Im not digging the pics at all, especially the last one.
I do think Ali would have a better chance at a successful life and career (in whatever field, not necessarily modeling) if she would publicly denounce her family and get away from them. No matter what she does, she is tainted by the Lohan name. Even if she was just remotely successful with modeling, her attention addicted sister would to do something to screw it up for her. @Hakura, no I mean freckles. The only way to get freckles is sun exposure. You are not born with freckles. Being only 15 and having THAT many freckles means she has massive amounts of skin damage at a young age. Sunscreen. It’s your friend.

Kaiser, I’ve been saying that for a long, long time.

Since Lindsanity’s career is down the tubes, and Ali’s “movie career” didn’t work out (see failed Lohan “reality” show), WO “allowed” Ali to remove the implants to pimp her out as a model.

(One down, one in the works, two to go. But they are both boys: one is like 27 years old; so unless she Beiber-ises Cody, she’ll be collecting on Linnocent’s life insurance policy and draining Ali for all she’s worth.)

She is not a good model. Looks have nothing to do with it (Agyness Deyn is good because she’s “different”). She doesn’t have what it takes to keep looking at her just because she has something. She’s not even into fashion if you look at her casual outfits. Real models always look like models. She’s just a plain girl with a stagemother. I think she would be gorgeous if she didn’t have a family like the Lohans, that burden must be so heavy to carry and makes her age so fast. Sadness…

While it’s true that some freckles are *caused* by sun damage, that isn’t the case with *all* freckles. Some people just (genetically) have them, as their skin naturally (automatically) creates more melanin/pigment in those spots, without exposure to sunlight. The same way that not *all* moles are a result of sun damage.

I have super dark hair, & majorly fair skin (to the point of having trouble finding foundation light enough, as a redhead would). I’ve had both freckles & moles my whole life, which you can see in pictures of me as a newborn. (& if there’s ever been a kid who was ‘anti-outdoors’, it’s me).

So having a lot of freckles doesn’t always mean that someone has suffered sun-damage/over-exposure.

I was born with freckles on my arms and my chest. It’s skin pigmentation. I’m only 25, so it’s not like the pictures are really bad quality. Now, it isn’t like I had as many as I do now, but I had a small smattering across my chest and a few on both arms.

And I don’t care what websites you can or cannot link me to. There have not been pictures of every child ever born, ever, so nobody can definitely say nobody is born without freckles.

    Since you’re talking websites:

You guys are both right. Freckles are genetic; the appearance of them is triggered by exposure to sunlight. That doesn’t mean OMG SUNBURN; it just means being out in the sun for a bit. Some people can be out in the sun for a while and have no freckles appear; then there are people like me who look out the window and suddenly have a handful of new freckles.

As far as saving Ali Lohan? It’s not possible. If she displayed any indication that she disapproved of her mother and sister’s shenanigans, then maybe we could all hope that someday she would break things off with them. But she adores her mother and idolizes her sister — no good can come of that.

@ ladybert62 – Gisele Bundchen has freckles and if you do a web search, you can see plenty of professional photos shoots where her freckles are very visible. So does:
    Bar Refeli
Kate Moss (though more on her chest/shoulders than her face)
    Pania Rose
    Lily Cole
Lilly Evangeline (spokes model for L’Oreal)

That list can go on forever. So yes, there have been plenty of freckles appearing in professional photo shoots.

Hello! You are bashing a 17 year old kid whose mom ha been pushing her down a BAD road for years. I saw an episode of that Lohan reality show a couple years back – the one where Ali is left alone with that creepy, sleazy horrible producer in a studio, back when she was trying to be a singer. I couldn’t believe a 14-15 year old girl would be left without her mother to face that dirt bag by herself. The whole thing just looked and felt really wrong. Have some compassion for Ali.

Truth be told, if I hadn’t seen those older pictures of her, I wouldn’t be very shocked by those above. I’d probably consider her simply one of those very frail, very young models you see every day in fashion magazines and ads.

Which is a very bitter realization, because it probably means that many more of those girls went through disturbing physical transformations and I’m already so desensitized that I barely notice it.

  85. Hakura says:

@Ella – I agree that saying the freckles should’ve been “photoshopped out” could come off as a bit much, but to atlantapug‘s credit, she said: “But I agree, the b&w freckles are HIDEOUS….They should have moved the photoshop tool from her face to her chest/arms.” I believe she was saying what I (& a few others) were saying, pointing out that *B&W photography* can sometimes be aesthetically unforgiving where freckles are concerned. I didn’t get the impression *at all* that her comment was any insult to freckles in general.

So I think the comment implying she couldn’t teach her daughter to ‘love herself as she is’ was a bit of a low-blow.

I was expecting to hate the photos but was actually pleasantly surprised. She looks like a model. And I know she’s too thin and her weight loss in the pap photos is striking, but the sad truth is she just looks like a regular magazine model in these pics. Shows how accustomed we are to seeing frighteningly thin women.

As to the freckle debate – I saw the photo and thought her freckles looked beautiful and unique. Let’s put the photoshop brush away once in awhile, how about? Real people have real freckles, and they are beautiful too.

People, I have freckles on my *eyelids.* There is no amount of sunscreen that could have prevented my freckles. Seriously, my body wants them. I’m really taken aback. You mean to say that everyone is looking at me thinking I’m hideous for being covered in freckles?

no offense to other people with freckles! i honestly, truly mean it when i say that freckles only look hideous on the hohans. but that’s because they already look like shit. i don’t mind freckles on other people, but on these shitfaced siblings it just looks… horrifying like i said could be the negative energy stemming from within them lol

Too bad Child Services has never stepped in and monitored Dino’s parenting /pimping of Ali. At the rate Dino goes thru her daughters and $$$$ signs flash in her minuscule brain …won’t be long before Ali is pimped off on a World coke sniffing by open window & meth smoking “prostitution”.. I mean “modeling” tour of Europe to support Dino’s lifestyle!

I don’t like her as a model, she looks old. I find nothing interesting about her features. She’s a pretty girl but I don’t see her finding success in the modeling world I actually think the Jenner girls look fresher.

Do you guys really think she could hold her own against the likes of Miranda Kerr or Agyness Deyn? I really doubt it.

I feel really sorry for her though. What a life.

    @Hakura,
Thanks for being the only one who’s able to read what I wrote!
They deliberately used a special filter to highlight the freckles in b&w while at the same time removing them from her face. THAT was my point. It looks hideous.

I feel sorry for her because she’s still just a girl but has the most skewed-into-unreality view on life & the day she “wakes up” (IF that day comes before she dies–and I quit waiting & hoping for that with the other sister LONG ago) will be a shocker. With regard to these photos…GROSS, OMG & Fug City. 

If I didn’t know who she was, I’d think nothing but-oh, nice. The last photo w/freckles on her chest is icky but I love her in b&w. Now I kinda get why she would get a gig. A big problem is, we as a society seem to tolerate the exploitation of children (not to mention, women, animals, and other living things). Anyway, she looks way better than her candids. Can WO now die a tragic death so we are done w/her user manipulating momster ways? She is the one I want to die a horrific way. Her daughters are just the symptom of her insanity, and we all are in the way of the fallout.

She was definitely channeling the 90s quirky models like Tennant and Quock. Hmmm. Interesting. She does give good model face, but I was always bored with the late 90s models who were quirky or utility so…meh.
