Stacy Keibler didn’t get sent home! It’s so exciting! Stacy got to walk on George Clooney’s arm last night for the UK premiere of The Descendants. The previous night, she was banished from the red carpet for The Ides of March, and her absence was felt so much that I theorized that The Tit Tape Trauma of 2011 had wrecked the “relationship”. But here she is! Would you like to know something funny? I looked through all of the photos of the premiere at different photo agencies, and there are SO MANY photos of Stacy checking out her own rack. This poor girl just keeps checking that she’s not exposing her tit tape again. Now I feel sorry for her! I wonder if George yelled at her? He shouldn’t have – her tit tape was the highlight of the Paris premiere, it really was.
Stacy’s dress is Maria Lucia Hohan, a designer I’m not familiar with. Apparently, Hohan (shades of Linnocent, right?) makes a lot of these very pale, cream and nude gowns that look wispy and angelic. As I’ve said before, I’m enjoying Stacy’s “lighter” makeup and fashion styles after Elisabetta Canalis’s harder, bolder, drag-queen-y styles. That being said, I think this nude color kind of washes Stacy out. The fit is better in the bust (as opposed to that train wreck Marchesa), but there’s something wonky going on at the waist. I’m not sure the dress should have that weird fabric bunch at the waistline. So Stacy still needs a stylist who prioritizes good tailoring. Overall, it’s a solid look, though. My biggest issue is with her hair. The hair feels wrong.
And then there’s Clooney… well, he doesn’t look so pissy in these photos. He and Stacy actually look lovey-dovey in some of them. Much better. There’s hope for her yet!

Well, well, well! Clooney decided to go all Professor Henry Higgins and buy his fixer-upper project a proper gown! She’s definitely his Eliza Doolittle project. Then, he’ll dump her in the gutter when he’s done. BTW, George’s contract girls always end up for the worse career-wise. This is not a good move for Stacy. I hope he bought her the dress, at least.

I like her hair and makeup very soft and flattering, the best yet for her but the dress still isn’t right for her body type, it’s pretty and feminine going for the Greek goddess look I think but SK is an Amazon, she is a large boned athletic woman with no waist to speak of, so she needs a dress that doesn’t emphasis that fact. She seems to have kept tugging at it in videos of the evening so it didn’t fit correctly and she seems to have felt uncomfortable in it. At least she’s getting better bit by bit, she should have her act together by Oscar night.
The dress looks lovely and so does The Keibler. Georgie is the one who looks busted. Lord, he looks like he’s passing a kidney stone in that last shot.
He has gone from being so hot to being so weird. There is something off about him. The way he treats women, one wrong move….Creepy.

The dress is a beatuful color and she is just so pleased–“Look at me,look at me, I am George Clooney’s girlfriend (of the moment)!! She looks a bit over-dressed though, as Clooney is not even wearing a tie.
The top of the dress is still off and makes her look thick. She definitely looks like he sent her for a makeover though, which still needs work, but it is better. George also needs work on looking more genuine. It is just such a contrast to her jarring smile.

I think that what is off (because it truly is a beautiful dress) is that it’s way too floaty and girly for a woman of her build and stature – and also – she is definitely mis-matched against George’s more casual look. They need to find a way to look better together.

Lovely. Her dress is romantic and peachy! Her hair is beautiful!She seems so easy going and happy. I guess that is why George likes her. Every other girl always looked like they were so uptight, probably from worrying when he was going to dump them.
Well, I really like her hair. I think it’s classy and unique . I don’t like when the hair is overdone and gel-like, and here it’s not, but it’s not a mess either. I’m starting to like her, she is still a red-carpet amateur, but just look how much she has improved in such a short time…George must have a full-time ‘girlfriend makeover’ stylist!

It looks like he is escorting her and not the other way around. Why the hell is she striking the pose alone on the red carpet. Did she become a movie star or something else other than an ex very classy wrestler overnight?

She looks like Paris Hilton to me (check out the wonk eye post) but then all “celebrities” start to look alike to me after a while, especially the younger ones. It’s like they’re afraid to be individuals or something. Anyway Paris is a step up for Stacy.
I think a small “Pretty Woman” intervention was done that’s why she was a no show at the last red carpet. George gave her a chance to get her shiz together or she was going to be sent home. I guess he was satisfied enough with the results to trot her out on once again on the red carpet. I think Stacy should have a little more self respect. But then again, he is Clooney.
Another thought: so Stacy is athletic and has big shoulders, and people are not liking how she pairs her figure with her outfits. I’m thinking about Princess Charlene (how *is* she doing?), she’s a former pro swimmer but seems to pull off fashion better than Stacy…well, she’s had more time to find her style… (now, I’m not even going to get into a comparison of their respective mates, but there seem to be a few similarities…).

I just checked out her wrestling work history. Now I see why everyone is so impressed. This look is a far cry from her usual everyday wear! I think it is a pretty dress and she looks better, but she has to check her boobs a lot which means the dress did not fit her right. Also, he is not even wearing a tie and if you look at other photos from the night she looks overdressed even in Paris all the women were not even wearing gowns. They look lovey dovey because he has gotten so much negative publicity this week from walking the red carpet with her his PR people told him to shape up his act. He does not get it, he should have done the premieres by himself. He looked happier and more relaxed without her. Also, they look awkward together he looks tooo old for her.
I have a theory about George’s dating style and history. I have a friend George’s age who is EXACTLY the same way. Like George, he was married once and since has become an avowed bachelor. He always dates women who are both much too young for him and just all wrong for him. The question is, why?
After years, my friend finally confessed and said that in order to avoid falling in love and getting married again – something he swore to himself he would never do again – he chooses women that could never tempt him into doing so.
He gets the sex. He gets the companionship, but there’s no emotional risk involved. Also, like George, he’s very quick to dump them when they start getting too clingy because, like George, he has a lot of money and can easily fill the vacancy.

I seem to remember everyone despising his former girlfried, calling her a tranny and a horse and many other highly descriptive names. Now in comparison and absentia, she is preferrable? This sounds like jealously to me. Anyone who just dates and does not look for a life partner would base their decisions on appearance, would be my guess. Judging from the constant smile on her face Stacy might be easy going. That alone can be an improvement when you have just broken up with a drama queen, and judging from what I have seen and read, the Italian was just that.
She is way too overdressed which is a bigger fashion faux pas than being underdressed.

Something looks off about George because he is GAY. He is living a lie. Maybe he has sex with Stacy, who knows, who cares. He had a boyfriend for years. I also like her more subdued make-up, & also her hair swept up like this. I usually am not a fan of many “upsweep” hairstyles, but this one gives her some much-needed classiness. Agree with you Elleh,but I would like to add that relationships or marriage between two people that are equally famous are probably difficult to maintain due to scheduling problems that is one of the reasons why one is often less famous than the other.
I know their are examples of two equally famous people who do make it work but I think those couples are rare.

@Ellah, you hit the nail on the head mostly. When I was 21.I dated a 40 year old playboy. He never remarried but every two years had a new young girlfriend and little affairs in between. Except he like George I believe fell madly in love in the beginning. They love the seduction and falling in love. They just happen to fall out of love as quickly. From interviews from some of George’s ex-girlfriends it’s clear he acted madly in love with them. Many of us have fallen for a playboy thinking we would be the one to change him

hi got it: i agree that they may have made her up to look like grace kelly, but those innate qualities of class and grace are not in ms k’s possession. otherwise, no matter how desperate for money she was, she never would have begun her career as she did. she would not have agreed to bend over so far on a daily basis that she left nothing to the imagination; she would not have, heaven forbid, wrestled other women to sate and stoke the sick and perverse adolescent fantasies that are the wwe. i would go on but i am turning my own stomach. no. not even in a still photograph can keibler compete with grace. because we are all the sum total of our actions and decisions. you cannot behave perversely on a regular basis without becoming perverse yourself. put on a fairy princess gown, a pair of wings and a halo that does not make you a princess or an angel.
All I can say is the Ides of March is intelligent and fantastic. George directed it and acted in it. So many brilliant actors in it. The guy is very powerful in the industry: A list actor, director, producer. He doesn’t care about what people think about his lovelife.

you are right jayna. power and money prevail. i once worked for a man in an ib firm. he was an insane and horrible shorty who would turn purple as he screamed at people. i watched as time after time people stood there and took it. i finally went down to hr to see what was what. bottom line? care to guess? he was a top producer and brought the firm zillions annually. they looked at me like i was crazy. he never yelled at me that way, but i will not work with the unstable. comparatively speaking, i am sure gc could pick up a hooker on a street corner and bring her to the oscars and no one would bat an eye. but it’s not about what others say. it is about your own integrity and sense of morality. it is about behaving in an honorable way. about your word being reliable, etc. he is famous. anyone will sleep with him, but that doesn’t mean he should sleep with them.
Her overall look is getting better, but the issue with this dress is that it’s made for a shorter woman. This is why the fabric at the waist is in the wrong spot and the bodice of the gown is too short and low for her frame.
George, for goodness sake, get her something made to order, not off the rack. Tall women CAN’T do off the rack.

Imissthenest, I don’t think his behavior is immoral. The man I dated was only because he has a mean streak and cheated. But George’s exes never say anything bad about him. He has stated he will never marry or have children. He dates someone for a couple of years and it fizzles. He likes beautiful young women for companions. I don’t begrudge him that. They usually have less complicated lives and less baggage. But the women are adults and are in their early thirties and go for it. At least, he’s not married, cheating.

I disagree 73 about wrestling as being low class . I have met female boxers that had so much grace and class you would think they were royalty . I support women who fight for a living . wrestlemania and pugilism are two very different things. i do not watch wrestling or boxing for that matter, but i do know the difference between the two. i have viewed several of this woman’s videos and they are disgusting and degrading to women. so i am not disparaging an entire sport but wrestlemania is to boxing what reality tv is to real life. as far as liking whom he dates, let me clarify: i am not a fan, but an objective bystander and, as i am not part of the spin to glamourize the unglamourous and sordid, i speak as i see fit. she and the “sport” where she earned her millions are at the very least “low class”. maybe this is the very reason he chooses the women he does. if they don’t respect themselves, then he doesn’t have to respect them either.

Previously, if George had actually had a decent look at Stacy’s breast line at any given time, he could have had her turn away from the cameras and fix the problem with her tape while he distracted everyone. That’s what a good (real) boyfriend does. He covers your back, sometimes literally. Instead he left her feeling self-conscious. Can’t say I blame her.
Her girls are finally lifted into the proper position for this dress, but she should still avoid shoulder-less dresses. There’s too much open space on her chest, due to her wide shoulders. This girl needs some jewels around her neck. The dress still doesn’t fit right in the waist. Looks like she got a spray tan, which helps. Hair and makeup are much improved, although I don’t like the hair bump on top. Stacy’s still got plenty of time before game day (Oscars) to pull it all together. No one is fooled into thinking it’s for any other reason that she’s tagging along the George Clooney trail.
This is the first time I have looked at GC’s GF thinking “SHE can do much better with someone else”. Sure, she’s a fame whore like her predecessors. But she should be doing it with a younger man than Clooney. She and George just look pathetic together. I don’t know which one makes me cringe more for the pretense.

Every time I see Clooney with the next woman, no matter how happy they look or what it seems to mean, I can’t help thinking this is going to end sooner or later, that they are not a real “couple” and will never be a couple in the long run. I saw him on Letterman last night and he is appears to have class and brains, but apparently needs a change in women fairly often. It’s strange and it doesn’t speak well for him. There is something off about this whole thing. The women always get their share of fame or media attention from the association with him. They certainly seem happy for a while and then are gone. I’ve often heard that Clooney has been seen with men, so there’s another angle to this, as he may use women merely to cover up.

Grace seemed to spend her life looking for an admiring father figure because her own father was rather cold to her, possibly because he believed he wasn’t her real father.
Ava Gardner said in her auto biography that Grace Kelly was the ’roundest heel in Hollywood’ Lena Horne said something similar. She did turn to drink in her later years because of depression. The idea that Stephanie was driving the car when Grace was killed is speculation but there are some anomalies in the accident report that back it up.
Having said that Grace was always a lady in public and always looked like a class act even before she became an actress, because she came from a society family where she grew up surrounded by class ‘a swan on the lake’ in deed but the lake was very murky underneath. If Grace was a movie star in today’s Hollywood you can bet all her romantic liaisons before her marriage would be well documented by the gossip magazine. Poopy thanks for your two cents. I don’t as a rule take hearsay as fact, especially by those who call others names. In my book, that usually boils down to jealousy. I do know that she had a difficult relationship with her father and that he had wanted a boy. This made her look for love and acceptance in all the men she met. Whether they were married men I do not know. But my sympathy is with her for feeling so unloved and for being the subject of gossip. We are getting off the subject however. He likes spending his time with pretty women, so why shouldn’t he? She’s having fun dating Clooney for as long as it last, so why shouldn’t she. They’re having fun together.

Grace didn’t come from a society family, they were wealthy and she did go to nice schools, but her family wasn’t socially connected in Philadelphia as originally believed and as she did market herself. HEr family was new money and excluded as a result.
