I’ve complained so many times about Rumer Willis and how she rarely knows how to accentuate her positive features. Her hair has been consistently rough, and her fashion sense… well, her casual style is pretty tragic, but Rumer can sometimes work an outfit on the red carpet. So these are new photos of Rumer at last night’s “Autumn Party” in Hollywood, plus some candids of Rumer exiting a salon after presumably getting ready for the party (she’s wearing a onesie in those pics).
Now, whatever Rumer did for her red carpet appearance last night, it was great. This is maybe one of her best looks ever. I’m still not crazy about her hair color, but her hairstyle flatters her face in such a great way. I even like the dress… on Rumer. A tall woman with strong features can pull off this kind of bold print, where a smaller, delicately-featured woman would be swimming in this print. Here’s more about what’s going on with Rumer these days:
Her mother Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher are currently caught up in a cheating scandal with their marriage said to be on the rocks while her father Bruce Willis is having another child with his new wife at 56-years of age.
So it’s safe to say there is plenty of drama going on in Rumer Willis’ life right now. But the actress has put her family issues to one side to attend a benefit fashion show with the likes of Nicole Richie and Lure Conrad.
Rumer,23, stepped out in a vintage-inspired ensemble which included a blue white and red printed wrap dress with a black waistbelt. The actress, who has appeared in hit show 90210 wore red heels and had her hair styled into glamorous loose curls in keeping with the retro feel of her outfit.
The actress stepped out onto the red carpet at charity event held at The London Hotel, which benefited the Children’s Institute.
While her mother Demi has been seen looking thinner than ever in recent months it appears the strain of the family’s event has also been taking its toll on Rumer who appeared to have also lost weight recently.
Rumer is said to have accompanied Demi on a visit to see Ashton on the set of his new TV show Two And A Half Men, suggesting she could be willing to give their six year marriage another go.
Ashton was accused of sleeping with 22-year-old Sara Leal in a San Diego hotel on the wedding of their wedding anniversary.
As if that wasn’t enough Rumer’s father Bruce Willis has just announced that he is expecting a child with his new wife Emma Heming, 17-years after his last child was born. This will no doubt come as a welcome surprise for Rumer given the scandal she has been surrounded by in recent months.

Poor Rumer. A new half-sibling on the way and the discovery that her step-father is a massive tool. I hope Rumer is encouraging Demi to dump Ashton, but you never know. Rumer and Ashton used to party together in clubs too. I’m not saying anything went down (gross), I’m just pointing out that Rumer and Ashton were sometimes more like brother-sister than stepfather-stepdaughter.

With her poor Bruce Willis potato face, she will never be “amazing” IMO, but she looks much MUCH better than usual in that top outfit. That’s how she should always dress.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I do not get all of the hate for this girl’s looks. If you put her up against other real world women, she would be closer to the top of the heap than the bottom. She has some very beautiful features and her skin is gorgeous. Rag on her clothes, her behaviour, etc., but to diss her over her bone structure is just cruel. She looks lovely in all of these shots.

Sorry but I still think the hair color and “style” is awful – get a good cut and style so that eyes are drawn up and away from the jaw! The color is also awful.

HATE the dresses how does a 50′s housewifey dress that is too long look good? Rompers are horrific on most people. Her skin does look good – SHE IS 23 people her skin should look good. Dig the hair color with her skin tone. BUT she is not a pretty girl by any means.

She’s had 3 nose jobs? Yes, her nose is now entirely too thin and short for her face. There’s no proportion.
Yes, she has a big chin, but it’s not her fault that she was born with it.
That said, if she has the money and inclination to shave her nose down to a tiny nub, then perhaps her plastic surgeon could reshape her chin to give her face more proportion.
With a smaller, squarer jaw, the girl would be a dead ringer for a less-emaciated Keira Knightly.

that dress is pretty awesome, i’m just not loving it from the waist down… i mean, it’s still great and she really nailed it with the shoes and hair and everything, i think i would just like the dress a little bit better if it had maybe a slightly more flared out cut from the waist down… or maybe if it was just a little shorter… i dunno… either way, she still looks great!!!

I have always thought she is a lovely young woman with some unusual features. What I would give for her skin, it’s flawless. And her almond eyes. Why people aren’t appreciating her for her uniqueness instead of wanting her to fit into the cookie-cutter mold of Hollywood is beyond me…

I think Rumor looks really good here. Everything from head to toe is very flattering for her. I kinda like that she looks unusual. Nothing wrong with looking “different”.
Min76: I get your point and I agree with you. I don’t put her in the same category as the Kardashians and others who have lost all dignity (& usually their clothes) in search of fame. Degrees of famewhoredom? IDK, it is hard to know how to judge these privileged kids (The Smith children, Kelly Osbourne, Etc.), none of whom would be where they are without their parents fame.

@kara ann. Definitely not as bad as a Kardashian. Possibly not as bad as Kelly Osbourne who has almost no talent, looks, or likability and makes her living judging others. But still someone worthy of derision. One look at her face and you know that she doesn’t have the looks to model. I had the misfortune of seeing House Bunny SHE CAN’T ACT EITHER. It’s not mean to point out that she wouldn’t be where she is without her parents. If she was a college student like her sister I would say she’s off limits but she’s asked to be in the public eye and gets attention simply because of her name.
Oh and the Smiths. That is a problem with the parents having no value system those kids are too young to be out there as grating as they are I can’t blame them for their parent’s poor decision making.

I agree with you that Rumor doesn’t have the face for modelling. Also, I believe that she would be doing herself (and us) a terrific favor but not trying to break into the superficial HW looks-based careers. Of course, if she was a talented writer or something that would be different. I don’t know how old Rumor is but I do know that she is very young and I imagine it would be hard to turn down the kind of opportunities that are coming her way (only because of her last name, of course). As you said, that the Smiths have failed their children, I feel that Bruce and Demi may have failed Rumor. I guarantee that they have influenced her decision to pursue modelling. I don’t know, it just bothers me that famous parents don’t encourage their children to “do more”. College or something more substantial as you pointed out.

Now that she’s growing up i think her features are starting to…shall we say..settle? Yeah there is a potato head issue, but she has has really beautiful eyes and can look quite striking. Its nice to have someone about who isn’t so easy to confuse with a 100 other starlets.

@min 76– I read somewhere that she has had surgery on her jaw to shave it down, but it can only be done a little at a time. It doesn’t look quite as huge as it once did, so I tend to think she’s already begun the work.
I don’t know what Rumer Willis like in person, but I wouldn’t wish that jaw on anyone, and I hope she can reduce it so that it doesn’t look like she said “Supersize me” when god was giving out heads.
It probably wasn’t the best idea to whittle her nose down to nothing because it only makes her chin look that much more disproportionately large.
Like Tori Spelling, who in my opinion is far, far uglier than Rumer Willis, she looks less grotesque without makeup.
