Angelina Jolie “just can’t hide the crazy” says In Touch Weekly

This week’s In Touch Weekly is a doozy. Of course, it’s all about how Angelina Jolie is a horrible person and a bad mother because a decade ago she was doing drugs and OMGOMG OMGOMG SHE KISSED HER BROTHER. Something like that. Actually, In Touch editors tried to ground the story in something real – currently, Angelina and Brad are being sued by one of their former assistants, a woman named Ana Charlotiaux. This woman claims she was “wrongfully terminated” simply because she asked for too much time off, and she’s brought a lawsuit against Brangelina. In Touch uses the idea that this lawsuit COULD “reveal” horrible information about Angelina (never Brad). But! In Touch didn’t speak to Ana Charlotiaux, they only spoke to “another assistant and staffers” who of course remain nameless (and likely fictitious). Here are some highlights from the story:

*An old friend says: “Angelina tries to hide it, but she has a crazy side to her that’s beyond quirky. In the end, she just can’t hide the crazy.”

*Angelina is still fascinated by blood. “When Angelina’s kids get cuts and scrapes, she saves their discarded bandages in a large jar. She thinks she’s being edgy and artistic, but to others, she just seems weird.”

*Angelina’s behavior is often compulsive. She’s replaced her former drug addictions with shopping online for hours, buying thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewelry.

*Another compulsion: working out. An employee shares, “She locks herself in the basement every day and exercises for hours. No one is to bother her during that time.” Apparently, she uses the workouts “as a way to escape her family.”

*Angelina and Brad love to go out and get bombed. A staffer reveals that while in London, “Angelina and Brad more than once left kids locked up with supervision in their hotel bedrooms and left them behind to go out drinking – a pastime they both seem to enjoy.” While in Budapest, Angelina and Brad rented a hotel suit where they enjoyed a nice meal and lots of wine while their kids stayed on an entirely different floor. A staffer says, “They do this quite frequently. They had a bottle of red wine with their meal that night, and then they went down to the bar and drank even more.” Then Brad and Angelina slept in the next morning and weren’t there for their kids’ breakfasts! SCANDAL.

*Angelina has weird eating habits, “sometimes eating only one type for days at a time.” An employee says, “She became obsessed with soup. Light soups that didn’t have a cream base – that became the constant request.” A family insider says, “Her daily diet varies – sometimes it will be just green tea and nuts. Other days, it will be red meat and red wine, and then back to tea and some tiny portion of protein.

*Although she claims to not care about what’s written about her, a source says, “Angelina browses blogs looking for stories about her family.”

*Angelina throws out leftover food. OMG.

*Angelina is “very strict and very hard” with their staff. “One time, a young assistant was pleading and crying to keep her job, but Angelina coldly turned her away.” Brad, however, plays the good guy. “He is very easygoing and never fires anyone. It’s clear that he’s not the boss – she is!”

*Angelina isn’t a laid-back mom – “She has the kids do their homework over and over until its perfect.”

*Angelina sometimes skips meals and opts for juice fasts, and sometimes she’ll only eat “one bite” of what the chefs prepare.

Now, considering the In Touch Weekly article actually featured a photo of Angelina with Photoshopped devil horns (NO JOKE), how seriously should we take it? Isn’t this just straight-up anti-Angelina propaganda? The thing is that I could actually believe some of it if it wasn’t being twisted around to sound like ANGELINA IS THE DEVIL OMG. Like, I believe Angelina and Brad leave their kids “locked up” in hotel suites (with nannies) while they go out and have a date night. I believe Angelina doesn’t eat enough. I believe she probably shops online and has other compulsive behaviors – she seems hyper-organized at times, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if she was OCD. As for the “keeping bloody bandaids in a jar” thing – gross. God knows.

Who knows- Those kids always look pretty damn happy and secure to me.

    • MarenGermany says:

yeah, first thing that always crosses my mind when I see them.
      I believe they are fine.
Just the travelling is really too much for little children, IMOhumbleO

  2. I.want.shoes says:

For someone who is spending so much money shopping online, you would think her wardrobe is more diversified. Yet, she always wears the same bags, flat shoes, etc.

The ITW story is total BS.

    • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

Maybe she’s shopping for the kids?

      • Oh Brother says:

As usual In Touch is taking a quote from Angelina and twisting it to the most negative bent they can pull out of their butts. Last year when she was promoting The Tourist Angelina was asked how she managed to organize 6 kids with all the traveling she does and she said that one way she does it is by shopping online for the kids’ clothes and having them delivered to their next location. In the feeble brains of the cows at IT that’s turned into shopping online “for hours”. She probably is spending thousands of dollars but she’s shopping 6 kids and she’s not shopping at Walmart. She probably spends less money on clothes for her 6 kids than Katie Holmes spends on Suri but you’ll never see IT admit as much.

      • PiperB says:

Mortician I think you may be right. Oh Brother I agree, she seems like she wants her kids to be normal. Not that this is possible but at least she is trying.

  3. Franny says:

you know who can’t hide the crazy? the people over at InTouch who seem to really hate Angelina. All their covers are about how she’s a freakin nut, and Jennifer Aniston is a saint. Ugh.

and for the record, I like both of these women.

    • WhiteNoise says:

Agree. I think some of the AJ/JA tabloid stuff is just out and out funny, where you can laugh, eyeroll and move on, but a lot of it – eg. this – really fails the ‘funny’ and ‘entertainment’ test because there’s seems to be so much malice behind it.

    • Freya says:

      This story is about Jolie!

  4. magda says:

shopping online for hours? she’s not the fashionista type. and OMG my workouts are also my holy-alone time

    • MAMAKOWALSKA says:

      HOLY ALONE TIME!!!! AMEN SISTER!!!!

I get up early every week day just to have one hour to myself to do something good for myself before my little bundle of joy wakes up for school!!!

We mothers need this!!!!!!! I know I’m a better mom because I feel better physically and mentally If I do this one thing TO NOT LET MYSELF GO!!!!!!!

Of course she shops on-line for hours, she’s got tons of money and what a production for her to go to the shops DUHHHHHHHH!!!!!

      • anne_000 says:

You’re right. When she goes shopping to a brick & mortar shop, she gets criticized as doing it only to get photographed by the paparazzi, especially if she takes any of the kids with her. So, if she does it the easy way by shopping online, she gets criticized for this too. Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t…..

      • CC says:

Not to mwntion that if she doesn’t spend money, she might b accused of not circulating her money. Not a huge fan of either womne but these stories are ridiculous.

  5. truthful says:

will her fans at least admit to her “probably” being somewhat strange behind closed doors…

    never, LOL

  6. Cheyenne says:

ROFL!! The Jenhens are going to be all over this one. Where’s olivia at?

    • buster says:

seems to me this site is filled with ange-hens and jen haters…. starting with kaiser and filtering down to what gets approved in the comment section. for some reason liking angelina=hating jen. I don’t prescribe to that high school mentality. they both seems like pretty incredible women. i admire both of them for different reasons.

    • Lithe says:

Things will start looking up for you when you realize that you are just as crazy as the “jenhens”, @Cheyenne.

You cluck-cluck over posts about AJ & JA as if these posts are your little baby chicks that you have to watch over. Looks like you’re feeling extra broody today.

      • Cheyenne says:

You monitoring my posts, honey? Don’t you have anything else to do to keep you occupied? Go cut out some paper dolls or watch some Friends re-runs, why don’t you?

      • LisaM says:

        @Cheyenne
Your personal insults of @Lithe just proved her and @busters comments.
Disliking Angelina does not = a JenHen.
Just like being Loon does not = disliking Jen.
You and others who feel the same need to realise that there are many people in this world who never cared about the unholy triangle, and still dont.
There are many other reasons to dislike Angelina and Jen that have nothing to do with Brad.

    • Lithe says:

@Cheyenne, being able to discern that you’re c.r.a.z.y. doesn’t make me a fan of Aniston’s. I’m curious about why the AJ/JA posts bring out your OCD, but that doesn’t mean I’m monitoring your comments. Heck, the way you cluck-cluck all over the threads, your comments are impossible to miss.

Btw, thanks for the hobby suggestions, but I’m quite happy with the ones I have. Sweet of you, though 😉

      • Cheyenne says:

Thanks a bunch, hon. Being called c.r.a.z.y. by the likes of you is the nicest compliment I’ve had all week. And damn, you actually showed you can spell! Who’da thunk it?

      • Freya says:

I am curious about the inablility of some people to stick to talking about the subject of the story. Here the subject is Jolie.

      • hateonit. says:

are you guys serious right now? how about we keep the topic in check and stop going at each other? every time I go on this site there’s some stupid fight stfu and comment on the subject only. we’re supposed to be bitchy about celebs and that’s it. I didn’t graduate high school to be brought back -___- jens crazy Angelinas crazy whatever. I personally find them to be nice females. angela does have a crazy side but that doesn’t mean this story is true. and I see no need for Jen to even brought up that whole shyt between them happened 62873946269 years ago. it’s over.

      • Iggles says:

@lithe – Dial back on the knives, hon!

This site is called “Celebitchy”. We’re supposed be snarking on the celebrities, not attacking other posters!

  7. normades says:

Geez, if I had that many kids I’d try to get away with my husband to drink too.

“She has the kids do their homework over and over until its perfect.”

That’s called being a good mom. At least she makes education a prioity.

    • Diane says:

That is so true! I would have done the same, I wonder why people put so little emphasis on children getting their homework done right nowadays!

      • Cheyenne says:

Alas, we’re seeing the results already with kids who graduate from high school barely able to read anything beyond a tabloid, write a coherent sentence or make change. And the parents demand the kids get an A for the effort, no matter now bad the actual results are.

      • Carrie says:

Exactly Diane and Cheyenne. My mum wouldn’t let me go out to play after school until I had done my homework. These days parents don’t care if their kids have homework and don’t make their kids do it or even check.

  8. Kaboom says:

Scandal! Actually using nannies you’re employing to watch the kids while you do something else.

  9. GirlyGirl says:

OMG they’re a normal family, but with lots of money!

dear god won’t someone think of the children?!??!!?

  10. nemera says:

Get your head out of the tabloid and lies. Sad that you would even spout that off. and seriously as if it would make you sad at all. Sad that the people that hate on her have been posting these things like this for year. Yet she has had 2 healthy pregnancies. And those kids look healthy and love.

And Yes the tabloids know she has a movie out so the nasty stories are starting again. The woman has been out of the media routine for over a year. Now the stories start again when she is about to start promoting her movie. Yeah. as if the tabloid have ever had it right. I think she is super organized. Brad and other have said as much. She is a planner and likes to have things in place. I would love to be that organized. Many successful people are. So I for one would never buy a tabloid especially one that is bent on being over the top nasty to this one woman. But I guess they sell to their audience.

  11. Cheyenne says:

Sure. That’s how she gave birth to three beautiful, healthy, HIV-free children.
    🙄

Your fake concern is so touching. Run along back to Female First, honey, you are totally out of your depth here.

    • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

Yikes! Now I have to go over to female first to see what I’m missing. LOL

    • shocked&appalled says:

I don’t buy all these stories, but it actually is possible Cheyenne to be HIV positive and give birth to HIV negative children. It has been for years. There is a drug called nevirapine that you can take that prevent mother-to-child transmission in almost 100% of cases.

In addition, if you are taking anti-retroviral drugs regularly, there is also a strong chance your viral load will be so low you can’t infect a partner you are having unprotected sex with.

HIV/AIDS is often now a treatable, lifelong communicable disease, not a death sentence. And there are amazing prevention tools available outside of using condoms or other barriers during sexual activity.

And FYI I used to work at UNAIDS, so I know what I’m talking about.

    • Cheyenne says:

@shocked: I’m well aware of the advances that have been made in treating prenatal HIV. What I was actually responding to was the original poster’s fake-ass concern which is fooling absolutely nobody, except maybe you.

      • LisaM says:

        @Cheyenne
        Why so defensive?
Would it really matter if she was HIV positive?
Would it make her less of a great mother/awesome actress/saint you think she is?
Having HIV does not have the same stigma it did years ago. Lets pretend that the blind item is true, it doesnt change a thing about Angelina does it?
The haters will still hate and the Loons will still love.

      • Cheyenne says:

@LisaM: Let’s not pretend that the blind item is true. First of all it’s a blind item and could refer to anyone. Secondly, Angie’s or anyone else’s medical status is private information, it’s their own business and no one else’s, and to spread it around the internet is despicable. And thirdly, it was repeated on here by a malicious troll whose only agenda was spreading bullshit. I trust this answers your question.

      • LisaM says:

        @Cheyenne
No you didnt answer any of the questions I asked, but thanks for playing.

      • lisa says:

        (different lisa)

I think it does matter. She has small children. Some old enough to read and understand the silliness. Not to mention they have friends that have parents that read or talk. So yes it matters if she is or is not. Matters to her children and family.

I get the side of gossip. but some of these stories go too far. And once printed and posted it goes everywhere. and the truth gets pushed behind the lie.

No the stigma over HIV is not the same. But does that matter to small children. no..

but this story is being fed to the nonefans that eat it up and post it on as many sites. Sad that grown women have so much hate for a woman that has done nothing to them at all. There are people I don’t like. But for me to hate.. well that has to be personal.

      • Seal Team 6 says:

        (Different) Lisa —

        You beat me to it.

      • leetruth says:

Some people don’t know when they crossed the line.

      • leetruth says:

Some people don’t know when they have crossed the line. Hopefully, the truth will overshadow the malicious lies.

      • lisa says:

And that is exactly what has happened the last 7 years. I wonder if anyone keeps track of all the tabloid lies. There was a link once.. wish I had save it. But it has a huge spread on all the tabloid covers about Brad/Angie over the years. NONE of which have been proven true. But it was just beyond thought all the silly fake sources. How come they didn’t know the family was back in LA. or where they have been. Never ever do the sources spill that news.

but Brad and just keep going. good for them.

      • Cheyenne says:

@ Lisa #105: I remember that link. It was a photo spread in US Magazine with pictures of all the bullshit cover stories printed by In Touch. But US Mag published some bullshit stories of their own before Janice Min left the magazine, so really it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

      • whatevs says:

amen sister! let the lame old triangle die already. how long has it been now, 7 years? my god life has changed so much since then

      • Lucky Charm says:

Seriously, there is a line that only seems to be crossed when it comes to Angelina. She has now been with Brad as long as he was with his ex-wife, and people still can’t let it go that he got divorced and moved on.

      • Cheyenne says:

CB, did you turn the reply feature off? I posted a reply that turned up as a separate comment. I hope you keep it because I really like it.

      • Franny says:

I think they did 🙁 a few people said in a different thread that they didn’t like it because it makes it hard to read comments….but I think the reply-to option really allows for more comments, and more in depth conversations…which I liked. it was annoying scrolling up and down seeing what people were referring to

      • Cheyenne says:

@Franny: Dang. I tried posting this as a reply to yours and it’s showing up as a comment. I think it may have been turned off only on this thread after a post got deleted. It seems to be working okay on the other threads.

      • pamela says:

Why speculate about something so horrible? And even if HIV does not have the same stigma it did years ago, it is still devastating. And please lets not pretend this slander is not being done to Angie deliberately as a pay back for Aniston. And lets not pretend that there aren’t people out there who would like nothing better than for this disgusting story to be true. THe same way they wished death on Angie and her children. I don’t like Aniston, but I will be damned if I would wish sickness or death on her.

BTW, you seem to be oe who would like this slander to be true.

      • Mrs. Odie 2 says:

Libel. Slander is spoken. I think what IS true is that she starves and overexercises. All actresses do. It’s part of their job.

      • Yep says:

So it’s safe to assume that Pitt has it too? Yeah, that should stop that discussion. Not queen brad Pitt!

      • Vesper says:

Not sure why certain ppl. can’t give an opinion or response without putting other commentors down.

      • Kara Ann says:

posted as a reply to #93 Vesper but it appears here for some reason.

I’ve said this too but it doesn’t change the way some people “communicate”. I’m surprised that people keep the “conversation” going. It seems like the people who continue the back and forth with each other like that just really enjoy it which is fine. However, I wish that those posters would be more careful when responding to people who are trying to have a legitimate conversation that gets completely shut down because some of us just don’t respond to that childish stuff.

    • Annie says:

Lol, is that what we’re calling being caught out in a bald faced lie while trying to rebutt something these days?

  12. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

I believe she doesn’t eat enough and, if she works out too much, it must be all cardio because she is all skin and bones and no muscle tone. Shopping online and having some alone time with your significant other, not so bad.

  13. SpankDong says:

I’ve been thinking about the bandaids in a jar thing—do you suppose she is worries that someone will take the bandaids to get a sample of her kids’ DNA? To track down a biological relative or suggest an inherent illness?

I am not saying this is normal; just maybe part of the paranoia implicit in being Brangelina

    • leetruth says:

Yes. This should be the most plausible reason. This family is hounded round the clock by the media and there are weirdos out there who would do crazy things with those bandages . Those calling her crazy are the crazy ones.

    • jamminatorr says:

this is exactly what I was thinking. I would bet that people would pay lots for the Pitt-Jolie offspring’s DNA.

  14. Tracy says:

Maybe she keeps the bandaids out of the regular garbage so people dont dig through it and find her kids dna. People can be freaky. Im sure shes a good mother.

  15. Sway says:

I totally believe Angie’s still fascinated by blood. I mean, just look at the poster she chose for ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’ 🙂
    http://www.onlinemovieshut.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/in-the-land-of-blood-and-honey-poster.jpg

  16. carrie says:

why aren’t the gossip blog/magazines/blind items tired about Brangelina’s “stories”?

  17. LisaM says:

Angelina isnt crazy. She was just try hard in her youth. The whole blood thing was the biggest look at me stunt she ever pulled.
Now she is all grown up and living the vanilla life she always had, (and tried to edge up). Getting bombed with Brad???, who doesnt like getting alittle bombed every now and then?
    This is a non story.

    • Emma says:

I’m just asking here … but why is it people don’t remember (or care) that Billy Bob Thornton wore a vial of Angie’s blood as well?

  18. Anonymous says:

Story is too stupid to be true.

  19. Flan says:

She’s still a better person than all of those spouting lies about her and other people.

  20. Sakyiwaa says:

Omg! Thanks for the laugh! Angie is HIV positive…wow! Lol!

  21. tracking says:

What a bizarre story. Even if it’s mostly true–yeah, the eating issues are kind of obvious and sad but “locking kids in hotel suites” (it’s called hiring BABYSITTERS), online shopping, working out, getting her drink on with Brad–what’s so weird about it??

  22. Sakyiwaa says:

Cos it still brings in the hits… That’s why.

  23. Adrien says:

Wow, I have so many things in common with Angelina.

    • Original Tiffany says:

I know right? Like hiring a babysitter when we have a date night to retain our sanity and help keep us on track. Having wine with said date, going to a premiere party once in a while and getting bombed while my kids are at home. Making sure they do their homework correctly so they have the skills they will need later in their life. Online shopping so I can do it while they are at school and don’t have to drag my kids with me, my son hates it! Exercising? How dare I do these things? Traveling the world with them? My kids love living all over the world, experiencing incredible cities. Terrible life. Angelina and I are so crazy!
Is Intouch lurking to do a story on my bad parenting? I thought I was being responsible all this time-silly me. If you don’t have some me-time when you have kids, you will go crazy.

  24. A,Y says:

i feel sorry for the children because one day they’ll witness how media had treated their beloved mother…

  25. valleymiss says:

I’m reading all this and I’m sorry, the only thing I think is weird is the band-aid stuff, which now that I read the dna thing, it could make sense. Going out drinking with your husband, making the kids re-do their homework…who cares?

But I will say that other story about how AJ says on 60 minutes about how dangerous her life was and how she almost died…that one was a serious eyeroller. Lady, spill some details about it or shuddup. “Sh*t or get off the pot.” It’s all a big tease for her movie and I find it shameful.

    • Sakyiwaa says:

Actually, the presenter asked her about it. And given the media’s fixation on it: Exhibit Outta Touch, above, you shouldn’t be surprised or ashamed on her account to hear her speak of it…

    • Emma says:

Valleymiss, Angie has said it all before. Just Google ‘Angelina Jolie talks about her drug use’ to read some of her earlier interviews. That is why so many idiots believe Angie is the infamous ‘Fake a la Ferocity,’ because Angie has admitted to using Heroin (among other drugs) in her youth.

I don’t blame her for not repeating it now. People just want to be spoon fed information these days, and they seem to have a very short attention span for details. That is why Google is our friend.

  26. Estella says:

Can’t people just let Angelina be great? Damn.

  27. lee says:

yeah seriously, agreed with everyone that this is a non-story and blatantly sensationalized by ITW for their anti-AJ campaign. Locking children alone in a room while you get drunk is definitely not the same as hiring a nanny to watch the kids in a fancy hotel suite while you go on a date with your husband.

that black dress looks seriously good on her though. she’s mostly skin and bones at this point, but the dress actually gives her some shape and a nicely defined waist. it’s a little boring, but she looks good.

  28. Sakyiwaa says:

Ange has been a tabloid target since BEFORE Brad… Anyone can do a tab archive check. It’s been relentless since she gave them fodder with her antics in the 90’s.
Which makes everything else they say believable…
I’m good with just rolling my eyes…

  29. Emily says:

“…shopping online for hours, buying thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewelry.”

    That’s totally what I’d do! 😉

    • lisa says:

Here’s the funny thing. Angie is not a clothes horse. She gets nagged on for this. And she doesn’t wear jewelry much unless it is on a RC. and for the last year or so most of that has been her own. So where is she keeping all the cloths and jewelry. Look she did crazy things. Like most young people. God the things I have done that could have cost me dearly. Riding on top of cars..ugh.. but we know of her past because she shared about it at a time when most celebs didn’t. Now they are all talking. but Angie’s past is the one that is harped on all the time.

I can’t wait to see her interview. And 60 minutes released another video clip of her talking with the major cast members (Zana, Goran and Rade). So the part about her life is at the beginning. Like they do with all celebrities.

I hope the films plays near me. I so want to see it. So proud of her as a fan. And don’t care what anyone says. I think she is all kinds of awesome.

  30. Miffits says:

You mean they go out for dinner and drinks WITHOUT the children?! I’m shocked. Truly shocked.

  31. nani says:

Oh God! I knew this bs was coming because AJ has a movie being launched in December. Of course and as always, some “Jennifer Aniston’s PR” would try anything to bring his client to the midia. He insists on bringing her whenever Angelina is out. For me, it’s the better way he found to confirm how J.A. needs such a promotion based on the other sucess. So, JA talks to H.Biven, she is worried about other’s feelings and Angie is the evil. The same game all the time. Those who are smart have already understood his way of doing thins.

  32. RocketMerry says:

“keeping bloody bandaids in a jar”
I honestly don’t find that creepy at all. I think, as long as she can manage it, good for her on being “crazy”.
I’m tired of bitches going on and on about how “disgusting” and “crazy” and “sick” and “ugly” other people are.
She’s beautiful, a lot crazy but balancing it nicely (at least in the public eye, which means she can keep it under control), and even if she had some “disgusting” little secret, that’s none of our business.
Her political views are naif and preachy, though.

    • Freya says:

What political views, RM? If she has ever expressed any political views I haven’t read them. We don’t even know what party she supports.

      • RocketMerry says:

I was making a reference to her work with the UN, which, I’ll never tire to say it, IS a political organization. Every single damn decision they take IS political and calculated on political advantages. Her views of the “Arab Spring”, for instance, ARE political since they involve a situation that falls into the International Politics category. Just sayin’. I could not care less about her ideas on US parties; she does shows that she is VERY naif with her actions and words when it comes to doing political work with the UN.
Apart from that I like her.

    • Kara Ann says:

I think Angelina would be reluctant to talk politics because of her position as a U.N. ambassador. True? Would make sense to me. Also, I thought that Brad was, at one time anyway, a supporter of President Obama. Their political affiliation (sp.?) doesn’t really matter to me. That’s just my vague thoughts about it.

      • Emma says:

Brad was a HUGE Obama supporter in 2008. He was in Chicago in the crowd of people who gathered outside on election night, waiting for Obama’s concession or Victory speech. I remember seeing pictures of him in the crowd.

I recall that Angie refused to comment one way or the other about the election. And we all remember how Jon Voight was all kinds of crazy while on the stump for Republican candidates. Perhaps Angie didn’t want to be pulled into his public madness?

That’s why I don’t get all the ‘Liberal Hollywood’ crap when 80% of Entertainment field is Republican. And you’d be surprised by how many of the top actors and actresses are Republican.

  33. paola says:

For the InTouch people: please get a life!

there’s nothing weird in what this person claims Ange is doing, and things always get dstorted when someone is telling them, plus if this person is trying to get any money out of this the things she says have to be very juicy and probably she made up most of it!

she wants the kid to do the homework until they’re perfect? what’s the point of doing homework if it’s wrong at the end?

Having 6 kids it must be tough and what’s wrong with having some lonely time? She’s not a saint, she’s still a woman for christ’s sake!

and anyway, i don’t believe in any of it being true.
And i’m not a angelina fan.. but she seems to be a good person, the kids always look happy and we all have weird habits, the difference is just that she is famous and people who work for her always race to the first shit magazine for some cash.
    shame on you.

  34. mln76 says:

Well just the other day when Angie talked about her wild side she was exaggerating for attention but when In Touch gives her devil’s horns that’s accurate.
The actual story is pretty tame though. She leaves the kids with nannies to spend time w/ her man. She makes the kids do her homework and she on-line shops. Nothing more crazy than your average mom.

  35. Teresa says:

ITW for me is not a credible source. This is the magazine that sensationalized the Jada /Will Pinkett-Smith’s separation! and what happened to the story? The magazine only favors some stars and blatantly write lies about the others.

As for me, Angelina is tops because she is a humanitarian and contributes millions of dollars to causes. She also actually visits these developing, war torn ravaged countries where no other celebrities dare to go considering she is a mega star! and not to just some staged “feeding” photo-ops.

  36. texasmom says:

OMG! The children were LOCKED INSIDE with SUPERVISION! Like my kids are, right now, in my house.

  37. F5 says:

I’d lock myself too if I had 6 kids.. (or even 1, hehe) You gotta have alone time or you’ll go nuts ._.

  38. anne_000 says:

So making sure the door is locked when they go out is a bad thing? Like they should always make sure the door is UNLOCKED when their kids’ safety would be at risk?

Geez, ITW reporter, YOU NEVER lock the door when you leave the kids with a babysitter? Do you also hang a “Come in, it’s not locked!” sign on your front door?!?

And about eating the same type of meals for days, “Hello!” that’s me too.

So is she & Brad supposed to take the kids out with them on their late-night date nights? If she did that, then she’d be criticized for not having the kids on a proper sleep schedule.

Again, it’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

  39. Jackie says:

i think she probably does have an addictive personality. even with good therapy, she is always going to have her demons. that stuff just doesn’t disappear. i still enjoy her, though.

    • Shay Kay says:

She may have OCD but she surely was diagnosed with something more serious when she committed herself for treatment in hospital. She had a complete breakdown because she couldn’t get in touch with Billy Bob Thorton and ended up checking herself in for treatment.Obviously she did the right thing but imo that reaction was quite severe as it was to her evidently.I am curious as to what she was diagnosed with.IMO she is borderline or bipolar and has progressed over the years in dealing with her disease in more constructive ways.Still I know from experience that bi-polar/borderlines can be very difficult to treat and to deal with on a daily basis.

    • Kara Ann says:

At the very least, AJ has an addictive personality. It seems very possible to me that she may suffer from some other sort of mental illness as well i.e. bipolar disorder. She does seem to be handling whatever her conditions are well. That said, these type of conditions require medication and monitoring. Also, a great deal of understanding and patience by those people around them.

  40. bettyrose says:

“left kids . . . with supervision and went out . . ” Now we’re criticizing parents for leaving their kids with trustworthy adults to go out for the evening?

  41. kira says:

This one smells like bs. If she works out for hours, where is her muscle tone? It doesn’t look like she works out at all, except maybe, running after all those kids. Glad I’m not her. 🙂

  42. Catherine says:

I think the article is what is crazy.

  43. Seal Team 6 says:

I didn’t know Jennifer Anniston and Olivia were writers for “In Touch.”

  44. Seal Team 6 says:

She also could be throwing away the bandages and stuff in a controlled manner ie like they do in doctor’s offices. I have many medical people in my family, and none of them just toss bloody stuff into the garbage (like I do). They put it in Zip-loc bags first or something like that.

Also, the DNA thing is a good theory.

  45. Seal Team 6 says:

Where’s the HIV+ post everyone is talking about? Was it zapped?

  46. skuddle says:

The story is a whole lot of hopped-up nothing.

  47. pwal says:

    What utter pantload!!!

Way to ramp up innocuous quotes made by Angelina and attribute them to an ‘assistant’. Except the scab crap… maybe IT called up AJ’s nanny from 34 years ago, asked about any bizarre behavior…hmm… Angie picked at her scabs … and BAM!!! …

  48. samira677 says:

I can’t believe that people are saying that Angelina is HIV positive. Don’t you think it would have been reported by now? Tabloids reported Magic Johnson, Freddie Mercury, Arthur Ashe. Why would they keep Angelina’s secret, especially considering how much the tabloids hate her. Also why on Earth would Brad have unprotected sex with Angelina? Why put yourself in the position of risking that the kids will growup without parents? Haters get dumber everyday.

  49. skuddle says:

This In Touch story sounds like a whole lot of hopped up nothing.

  50. Turtle Dove says:

O…m…g…. Angie is such a terrible person that she wants to be with her hubs, have some “me” time, focuses on her kids’ education, and holds staff accountable (doubt that she’d be the one to fire someone btw).

(waves at Angie IF she really is reading this) LOVE YOU, ANGIE. 😉 🙂 😛

  51. theaPie says:

I certainly hope she has a bit of crazy in her, as do we all. What a stupid story, sheesh.

I like the new format – my vote!

  52. olivia says:

I think it must be a new PR game.

She’s got the 60 Minutes interview this weekend where she talks about being a “bad girl” (she’s not 15, she’s 36), so something is up with both of these pieces (magazine and interview) at the same time.

    Coincidence? I think not.

    • Emma says:

      Olivia! Where you been, baby?

Angie was asked about her ‘bad girl’ past and responded in kind.

  53. sally says:

If anything this article makes her seem like a normal mom to me.

  54. Gymo says:

    Question is:
Do you believe this, or is this someone’s overactive (lying) imagination?

  55. snapnhiss says:

The second photo of her (black dress from the torso up, crowd in the background) really, really resembles the face of the Statue of Liberty.

  56. Kim says:

Anyone could say these things about anyone and a portion of it be true. Very vague suggestions from a “forner” nanny dont hold much weight.

As far as leaving the kids with a babysitter to go out – hello its called date night and millions of people do it.

  57. leetruth says:

Love Angie no matter what her status is! She is the BEST!

  58. I think more or less this story translates into: Angie and Brad had a date night. Before leaving they reminded the proper supervision to “Please, make sure the door is ALWAYS locked'(Yup,they’re on to you In Touch magazine)

    • bettyrose says:

The “locked in” comment made me laugh, too. I doubt the door was bolted from the outside, but those kids probably had a blast ordering room service and watching cable in the (undoubtedly luxurious) hotel room.

  61. Javagirl1 says:

So she’s on some weird soup diet but she drinks red wine? Lots of red wine is extremely fattening for women.
Come on ITW, either she has an eating disorder OR she’s a drunk…

  62. Derpy says:

Ok, so I’m going to talk about the “eating the same thing for days” thing. I’m a short shit, barely reaching 5′, and will probably only be as skinny as Jolie in my wildest dreams. I have a larger bone structer, dangerous hips, and an ass that won’t quit, I’m nowhere near thin… I do, however, go on some odd food adventures. I am obsessed with the Annie’s Goddess dressings, most especially the ginger soy and vinaigrettes. For nearly two entire weeks all I would eat was some spring salad mix from Albertson’s, any other spring mix from any other store, just simply would not suffice, you know? Right now I’m on a sushi rice kick. My roommate thought I had lost my mind when all I would eat for like 4 days straight were french cut green beans. I get on kicks where all I’ll want is one certain type of fish, prepared one very certain way, or as much cow and as bloody as possible with a large side of grease. Is there something wrong with this? I figure I’m just giving my body what it wants..

I mean, do any of you eat this way as well? I never thought there was anything wrong with this o_O

    ——-

As to how bad of a parent Jolie is and all of you ladies admitting to doing the same things with your children and lives, SHAME ON YOU, MAY GOD HAVE PITY ON YOUR SOUL. How DARE ANY of you try to educate your children or make sure they are left with competent supervision. The nerve some of you have! Seriously!

    • Ya,I have a girlfriend who is a chili nut.She makes chili every week. It’s chili with chicken,or chili this or that. I don’t know how she does it.She must have intestines made of steel.Although,I have made a mental note not to ride downwind of her…

    • Cerulean says:

Oh yes. I’m the worst. I’m on a quiche kick right now. Preceded by my burger kick. I’m also on a salad bender right now. Last week I ate Chinese food 3 nights in a row. When I like a food I will eat it into the ground.

That magazine is vile. They take perfectly normal behaviors and turn it into this by using inflammatory language. Very mean spirited.

Leetruth#75 (dang, how come these comments are getting posted all out of order?):

When someone repeats a vicious blind item without a shred of evidence to back it up, and someone else says let’s pretend the blind item is true, they have definitely crossed the line.

  64. LuckyLilGem says:

Doesn’t Angie have a stylist or three? Why would she spend hours shopping online when she probably gets previews and samples shipped to her constantly? Lame.

  65. Oh Brother says:

In Touch stole this story from Star magazine, who had it inside the issue last week but not anywhere on the cover. It was ridiculous last week and it’s just as ridiculous this week. The fact of the matter is – this woman didn’t spend any significant amount of time in the presence of the Jolie-Pitts simply because they haven’t spent that much time at the chateau – and the woman was fired nearly 2 years ago.

What’s really funny about this story is this – these are all completely different claims than Star had last week. Why is that? It’s the same woman, same informant and she was only physically around the family for a handful of weeks over the course of 1 1/2 years so she couldn’t possibly have seen that much. They don’t even have the nannies spend the night – but the secretary did? GMAFB.

Plus, I hope they did a better job on the timeline of the supposed events they list because of the 4 major incidents Star listed – the Jolie-Pitts weren’t in France during any of those times and it’s easily proved because they were photographed in other locations – 3000-4000 miles away from France. The least these tabs could do is PRETEND like they research the garbage they make up.

  66. lisa says:

Haven’t said it yet..but I like the format. It makes it so much easier to see what a comment is regarding. You don’t have to stroll up to find it. Also makes it easy to she how over the top some comments are.

    not mine of course. 🙂

  67. Katherine says:

    Thank you, Kaiser.

  68. Vesper says:

Along the same lines, has anyone read Angelina’s biography (albeit unauthorized) by Andrew Morton? He was the one that wrote about Lady Di, and he has a good reputation for being thorough. Angelina has admitted to using drugs of all kinds by age 14, her fav. being coke. At that time she had anorexia that was blamed on her drug use. Same pattern in her later teens especially before she got into acting, and her fav. became heroin. She has freely admitted to being a past “drug addict” (her words). There is a pic in Morton’s biography in which she is with her alledged drug dealer and it is apparent by her eyes that she is high on something strong. She also used heroin thru the filming of Gia and Girl Interrupted. She admitted at the time that Billy Bob Thorton was the first partner she was with in which she didn’t feel the need to use drugs. While she was married to Billy Bob she filmed Tomb Raider and she looked her healthiest ever. She has never been to rehab. Why is it outside the realm of probability that she still uses? She has for years.

Many people use and still function well even in high profile positions. Life patterns don’t suddenly change. The same goes with alcohol addiction. A drug or alcohol addiction could explain why Angelina looks increasingly thin (she would look even thinner if she didn’t have implants), pale and unhealthy, as well as the fact that she isn’t aging well. Even if she isn’t using coke or heroin, she could be abusing methadone (prescribed by a doctor(s)). Yes, the addiction gossip might not be true, and the real problem could be due to stress and 6 kids, but she does have a nanny for every child, other staff that helps, a supportive partner, inlaws etc. Brad Pitt has the same stressful life and although he looks like crap he doesn’t look unhealthy (only unwashed). On the other hand, there has always been a lot of gossip about him being a major drinker, and a pot head.

As for the perfectionism, Angelina’s mother was well known for her perfectionism on a day to day basis. It was so extreme that many of her projects didn’t get off the ground. It’s not surprising that Angie has some of the same traits. That’s what makes her such a fantastic actress.

BTW, I AM AN ANGELINA FAN.

    • Katherine says:

Unfortunately the problem is that your post is full of inaccuracies and supposition. Would you care to provide a link to Angelina saying she had used all kinds of drugs by the age of 14?
Would you care to provide the link where Angelina said her favorite drug was heroin?

Angelina also never actually said she was addicted to anything in particular. What she said was that she has known addiction in her life. That could mean anything and even mean knowing others who ended up addicted. Where is anything about methadone coming from? That’s a concoction of FemaleFirst and others who deliberately lie about Angelina. If you think heroin is bad for your health then you should know that methadone is a dirtier drug for your body and health than heroin is.

Speculation may be fun but it can also be dangerous and destructive. People need to think before they post.

      • Vesper says:

No, Katherine, it is u that is incorrect. As I said in my post, I took my info from Andrew Morton’s biography, and various interviews that Angelina gave to non gossip magazines which I personally read. Morton is a respected biographer and he spoke with hundreds of people for his book, and he does name his sources. No, I am not going to look up the page numbers for u. Most people who keep track of Angelina have seen the interview(s)where she admits to using EVERY drug, and she has admitted it more than once. She has also admitted, again in an interviews, that she was a “drug addict”.

As for methadone, I didn’t say it was safe. U obviously don’t know much about addictions. Some doctors use methadone to help get a patient off of heroin, which is a more dangerous drug. Some addicts doctor shop and get methadone prescriptions from more than one doctor. My point was supposed to be that it is much easier to get ur hands on methadone, especially for someone as high profile as Angelina, and u can do so legally.

Maybe u should get ur facts correct before u accuse someone of not doing so, and perhaps u should think before u post a rebuttal which is inaccurate.

      • Katherine says:

Sorry, Vesper, but your surrebuttal is less than effective.

Perhaps your biggest mistake is thinking Morton is a respected biographer. Morton is in no way a respected biographer. He is a gossip. The credibility of a number of his sources – particularly ones with the most outrageous claims – is questionable. Respected biographers and historians – even journalists – use a number of sources for claims. Morton wasn’t interested in doing that because once he had a headline catching story he didn’t want to refute it.

As I said Jolie has never said specifically that she was a heroin addict. Never. People are extrapolating from her statements and relying on completely unsubstantiated gossip. I have also read all these interviews and I never found anything about Angelina having used all these drugs you claim by the age of 14. Additionally no one has ever said she used needles. One can snort heroin you know which is how many casual users in the 90s experimented with it. It is entirely possible to use heroin on a “casual” basis for a limitied period of time and not become addicted. Obviously there are those who will still become addicted but not everyone.

I have over 20 years of experience working with people who are heroin addicts so I am very familiar with medications like methadone and seboxone.
And I repeat that methadone is well known by both the medical profession and users alike as a drug even more harmful to the body than heroin despite its use to wean addicts off heroin. Hence the preference by many now to use other substances like seboxone.

Until you can recognize BS no matter how it is packaged, you will continue to get fooled by hacks like Andrew Morton.

      • Emma says:

Oh crap, I timed out before I could add this to my first reply (sorry Kaiser!).

Vesper, Angelina Jolie never said she was a Heroin addict, she said that she ‘tried’ Heroin among other drugs. The Methadone theory was started by those people who believe that ‘Fake a la Ferocity’ is Angelina Jolie. It was started in response to those who said that Angie couldn’t possibly still be using Heroin, due to her pregnancies and the fact that she breast fed her three kids.

And I defy you to find any other cited sources for Andrew Morton’s book other than Jon Voight (and his circle of friends, who all helped him trash Angie’s Mom, Marcheline Bertrand), and the woman who was Angie’s babysitter/nanny when she was a very young girl. Andrew Morton said that no one close to Angie or Brad would talk to him.

I personally believe Angie when she said that filming “Tomb Raider” in Cambodia (in 2000) was a life transforming experience for her. It was after this that she became involved in the U.N. and adopted Maddox (in 2001). I think she found something more meaningful to do with her life other than drugs.

      • Vesper says:

Katherine, I’m not going to argue back and forth about my comments, however I will add the following…

I work in addictions as well, and in Canada we use methodone for harm reduction in heroin users. As for “casual” heroin use that doesn’t become a problem down the road, in my experience as well as that of my professors it is an unlikely scenerio especially for someone who has an established pattern of use.

Re. my comments about Jolie, I did say that I got my info from Morton AS WELL AS OTHER INTERVIEWS BY JOLIE THAT I HAVE PERSONALLY READ OR SEEN. I’m not going to look up all the interviews, but I will give u one example. There was an article published by ABC 20/20 on July 11/03 two or three days after Jolie’s TV interview with Barbara Walters (ABC 20/20). It states the following, “Jolie has admitted she flirted with a heroin habit herself…”

As for Morton, I did not say he was an award winning biographer, but he is far from a hack. As I already mentioned, he did use numerous sources which he cited throughout the book. The sources were so numerous it would be too tedious for me to count, but I’d estimate 65-100 sources were used. At the end of his book is a seven page “Acknowledgements & Source Notes” where he breaks down various issues and cites sources for each. His book is far from a rehash of gossip columns.

Either way, I did not say that Angelina has a drug problem. I said, in my opinion, it was “not outside the realm of possibility”. Not sure why ppl. must tear apart someone’s opinion simply because they don’t agree with it.

    • Carrie says:

Actually, you couldn’t be more wrong if you tried on Morton, far from being a ‘respected biographer’, on the contrary, he is one of the LEAST respected, and the blowout and backlash he copped from the Diana book which even Diana said was full of lies, was legendary. He is known as a hack tabloid biographer, and what he wrote in his despicable book of lies was taken verbatim from Star, In Touch, Weekly and Life and Style. His ‘reputation’ is on par with Perez Hilton and Ian Halperin. So sorry to burst your bubble, but there is not one AJ fan that would ever lower themselves to put money in that crook’s pocket. Oh and Katherine is right. Nowhere, at any stage in the past or now, anywhere, has Angelina EVER admitted to being a drug “addict”. Trying every drug there is, yes. But NO, she has NEVER, NEVER said she was ever actually an “addict”.

    • Emma says:

@Vesper, who wrote: “BTW, I AM AN ANGELINA FAN.”

      Right.

You do know that the book Andrew Morton wrote about Princess Di was ‘authorized,’ don’t you? That means that Princess Diane sat with Morton and gave up tidbits about her life and the Royals. It also means that she gave her friends and family permission to talk to Andrew Morton and to give him information about her life and marriage to Prince Charles.

If you read the Andrew Morton’s book you probably also read Ian Halperin’s book. The two books have one thing in common … neither were authorized, and neither had the cooperation of Angelina Jolie or anyone in her camp (meaning that neither one of them ever talked to Angie or anyone close to her). The sources for Morton’s book were Jon Voight and Angie’s babysitter from 30 years ago. Anything Jon Voight said about Angie would have to be taken with a grain of salt, because he left the family when the kids were quite young and went on with his life without them.

Ian Halperin didn’t bother with sources at all, unless you count the Jennifer Aniston fans who post at his IUC (Ian Undercover) forum, who bragged about the things they ‘told’ Ian to include after the book was released. Ian just recycled old Tabloid stories written about Angelina Jolie. The only new thing was the notion that Angie started the rumor that Jen didn’t want to have kids way before Angie met Brad Pitt or signed on to star in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

      • Shay Kay says:

I haven’t read Ian’s book but I read Morton’s book and I thought it was an interesting read. There was a good deal of information about her formative years that I think give a good look into some of her later actions and reactions.Do you really think that just because the book wasn’t authorized that it has no truth to it?Someone with Angelina’s history isn’t likely to want to cooperate with a biography if she can’t spin the story. She would not want to be questioned about inconsistencies in her deeds and words.

      • Vesper says:

Emma, there are hundreds of good biographies that are not authorized, it doesn’t mean they have no credence.

While I did read Ian Halperin’s book, there was a reason I didn’t mention it. In my opinion, Halperin’s book was not of the same quality as Mortons. In general, his book took a much more superficial look at the life of Angelina, it included very few sources and it seemed to mirror the gossip rags. I did not find the same with Morton’s biography.

U say Morton’s book had two sources, Jon Voight and Angie’s babysitter? Obviously u have not even looked at the book. As I mentioned to Katherine, there are about 65-100 references cited, and a seven page “Acknowledgements and Source Notes”.

Saying Jon Voight’s comments should be taken with a grain of salt is inappropriate considering Voight is her father. The fact that u believe his children were not a part of his life is not accurate when u look look at past pics and interviews, including interviews that Angie did at the beginning of her career. Angelina’s mom practiced, what u call in legal terms, parental alienation.

As for ur opinion that I am not an Angelina fan, simply because I read a biography u haven’t bothered to read, but which u don’t agree with or know anything about, along with the fact that I have an opinion that u don’t share is just silly. Just because one is a fan of someone’s work doesn’t mean u only have positive opinions about that person. Too bad everything in life isn’t so black and white.

      • Vesper says:

Emma, forgot to send this out last night. This is my last response re. Morton’s book.

So u “defy” me (so dramatic!) to find any other cited sources for Morton’s book other than those u mentioned including Angelina’s father, Jon Voight, any of his friends, and Angie’s numerous baby sitters (and there were many). BTW, the baby sitters and family friends who looked after Angie were cited only when Morton was covering the period of Angie’s childhood. Not sure why they would be any less credible especially since they spent more time with Angie than her mother did.

Most of the sources are intermingled in the body of the text, and I am not going to spend the time to weed them out. Like I said, the book was heavily sourced although not like a traditional bibliography. However, I will give u two names. Bill Day, Marcheline’s partner and Angie’s stepfather for 11 years (Marcheline’s longest relationship by far), and close family friend of both Marcheline and Jon for 23 years, Lauren Taines.

  69. whatevs says:

ok much of this is either and/or bs or not a big deal. i believe that she doesn’t eat enough though. i suffered from anorexia and bulimia in my youth and it is triggered sometimes even if i am making my best efforts to think in a healthy way. angelina had the quote anorexics love the most tattooed on her belly. and she was once a model, they are under constant pressure to refrain from eating. and an actress to boot. probably the only job that makes one more anorexic than these two is ballet. anyway once here a user said that angelina could have gained weight if she wanted to, but that she is keeping thin on purpose. i disagreed with her back then but now it seems plausible. on the newspaper today there was an article about how she lives on 600 calories. when you are an anorexic you think 600 is more than fulfilling and enough to survive. she would look wayyyy younger if she gained some, i bet brad would be even happier if she did. besides i don’t think she’s only eating less because she wants to be a thin celeb. i think her mother’s passing got to her, and around those times she was constantly visiting people who were starving. if that does’t inspire one to starve themselves i don’t know what would. i feel bad for angelina. 🙁

    • mln76 says:

@Vesper Do you seriously believe that Morton book was accurate? It was called out at the time of its release as being woefully unsourced and the bit of it I read seemed like a copy of a tab and not t like it used any inside information. As for the Diana bio that was done with Diana’s cooperation because she wanted revenge on the Windsors. Unfortunately that’s given Mortin more notoriety than he deserves.

      • Vesper says:

mln76, I think u are thinking of Ian Halperin’s book. Morton’s book is heavily sourced for anyone who takes the time to read it. Much of what he wrote about, especially info about Angie’s formative years, her “amazing” (add sarcasm) mother, her parent’s decades long relationship (that lasted long after the divorce), as well as the true nature of Voight’s relationship with his kids has not been discussed in the tabloids.

She does not have “anorexic love” tattoed on her stomach.
      She has a latin phrase,
      *What nourish me destroys me*.
Next to a big cross (which she had to cover up another tattoo that she woke up with after a night out, according to her inside the actors studio interview)

I don’t know what the truth is, but all the photo ops always show them as the perfect family. Every. single. time. That’s scary.

  71. PiperB says:

Nice staff she has their spilling all her secrets. Guess they don’t sign a confidentiality agreement. The kids look happy, even Shiloh. So she is weird, who isn’t?!?!

  72. Heine says:

Is it just me or was a line crossed somewhere up thread?

I don’t even like this big-headed, bony, vampiric weirdo but even I don’t speculate on her personal health issues, if she has any.

It just seems like an area where humorous gossip and poking fun turns into something else…

  73. Sara says:

Uhhh… shopping online for hours is bad? I don’t have thousands to spend but I thought a lot of people did that.

The rest is just silly. They probably get to spend just as much time with their kids as parents who have an eight hour work day, if not more.

  74. becky says:

I think what you mesnt was she has OCD, not IS.

  75. G says:

This is IN TOUCH we’re talking about so I don’t even really know why we’re giving any of this a go. I think it’s killing the tabs that Angie and Brad might actually just be quite normal now, well as normal as two really rich and famous people can be. The kids look great, Angie and Brad look happy, sometimes things really are that simple.

  76. toto says:

once i saw on lainey gossip a candid pictures about 20 maybe of angelina and one of her kids nanny in the garden when she was in Scotland ..in the picture it was clear that angelina was so much in talk ..maybe telling a joke to the nanny and the nanny was laughing like normal 2 ladies walking in the park ..those pictures never were circulated ,much in media bcaz it would shows her as any mother who chit chat with babysitter or assistance ..at that time when i saw the pictures i knew angelina is more normal than many divas who much less famous than her and that usually in my books means shes the real deal.

i will try to look for the link

Since there are people talking about the new format (the one with the reply button)…I’ll voice my opinion as well: I hate it. Before, all I had to do to see the new comments was scrolling down — for instance, if I left the thread when it had 100 comments and came back I see there are 105, I KNEW the new ones HAD TO BE the last five. Now I can’t see that right away. I HAVE to scrooll up and check comment by comment to see the replies.

The scrolling up and down before — to see who and what was being replied to — was easier than it is now, in my opinion. As long as you properly addressed the post to which you wanted to reply (like naming naming them or at least adding their comment’s number) it was not a big deal. I’d check that rather quickly.

In order to make things very clear, I used to post excerpts, in italics, from the comments I wanted to reply.

One more problem I see now is that whenever a poster replies to another, sometimes I don’t know which is a direct response to the original comment, or a reply to the reply — I try to find out who’s answering what by looking at the comment’s box’s color (some are grey, some are white) but I don’t always succeed.

I’m sorry for disagreeing with you guys so strongly and I know I’ll probably be overruled in this but I have to say that I find the new format annoying, off putting and confusing…I get tired and don’t visit the threads as much as I used to.

    • Celebitchy says:

I wish that we could implement a style switcher where you could choose to view comments in threaded format or by most recent comment. The threaded comment option is a backend setting with wordpress, though, and it’s not as simple as a stylesheet or cosmetic change. I’ve done some research and there’s no way to easily switch back and forth between the two views or to highlight new comments. I’ll keep looking though. I’m sorry that the new format doesn’t make recent comments immediately clear! I have the same issue with it, although I think that the ease of replying makes it worth it.

  78. Ella says:

I think it’s disgusting what people “believe” about them. Give over already, they are human being’s just like the rest of us. They make good and bad choices, poop, eat, and screw like the rest of society does.

  79. Elizabeth says:

I read the article yesterday and its all BS. Some of the “scandalous” behaviour was her and Brad leaving the kids with nannies while they went out to have dinner, drinks and then crash at a suite on another floor in the hotel, not getting up the next day until noon when the kids had already been up for a few hours. Big scandal! The article had nothing in it but BS.

  80. Elizabeth says:

    @ cheyenne
you have posted 15 times on this item. and some replies have been quite bitchy. Not cool, as Jen would say.

    • Cheyenne says:

And I should care what Jenny-poo would say because…?

Awaiting your response with bated breath.

  81. Yep says:

Lol now people are saying angie has HIV Omg That means their queen botox brad pitt might have it too. Yeah, they won’t be accusing him of having it …. Yawn

  82. stephanie says:

it sounds like she makes an effort to maintain that slim figure, which is not surprising. Few people are naturally that thin. And it also sounds like she goes and has a few drinks with her husband every once and a while. I’m not a huge angelina fan, but seriously. InTouch was really reaching with this one.

  83. SEF says:

OMG – I, too, shop online and leave my children at home with a sitter for date nights with my husband. I, too, throw out leftover food when it gets old. I, too, have fired babysitters when they didn’t do a good job or were a bad fit for my family.

    Am I crazy, too?

  84. SEF says:

P.S. – I love that photo of them leaving Gwen Stefani’s house, the kids clearly playing with makeup. What else would you do at Gwen’s house??? 🙂

  85. Maya says:

Wow, In Touch’s anti-Angelina thing is getting so old. I have a hard time believing any of this, especially because they ALWAYS make Angelina out to be an evil bitch while Brad is inevitably portrayed as a long-suffering, nice and easy-going guy. (Jennifer Aniston, of course, is always the martyr.) It’s really just pure sexism.

  86. Johnny Depp's Girl says:

    apparently, brad likes crazy.

  87. Cheyenne says:

@ Vesper #93: Citing Andrew Morton as a legitimate source was incredibly naive on your part. His book was not a legitimate biography. There is no index, bibliography, footnote or anything else that can be used as a citation for anything he wrote. What his “bio” adds up to is a re-hash of gossip cribbed from various tabloids. Hardly a reputable source of info.

    • Vesper says:

Cheyenne, like I have already mentioned, while ur comments definitely apply to Ian Heperin’s book that is not the case with Morton. It is obvious u haven’t read his book.

  88. ZenB!tch says:

I pulled myself away from Amazon.com to get here…. 36 stud earrings for $9.99!!!

Other than the bandaid thing, she doesn’t sound crazy to me. The food thing is crazy outside of Hollywood but perfectly normal in Hollywood. She has to fit those sample sizes.

  89. Seal Team 6 says:

    @Elizabeth

You seriously counted how many times Cheyenne posted in this thread? Threadstalk much? Why do you even care? And, of course some of it was “bitchy.” We’re on CeleBITCHY, not Sesamestreet, com.

  90. Riri says:

Actually, if I had the money, I would be shopping a lot. Why not?

She has so many millions, and she cares a lot about her appearance, so it makes sense and I see no harm in that.

As for her eating habits- it’s clear she is very very skinny and lost a lot of weight and maintains it somehow on such a low end… so, there is some extreme dieting going on, but so do many other actresses.

  91. Criss says:

No one is denying that she’s crazy. I like her and I think she is beautiful. She can save the world, it won’t take away the fact that she stole a woman’s husband, she’s a seductress. Whatever helps her sleep at night…

  92. Lisa says:

Who cares? When you’re hot, you can do whatever you want!

  93. lumberjackjaws says:

she’s f’n ugly with that big ol’ knuckehead & her kids are ugly as hell too ! yyyyuk
