This a whole lot about nothing. It is just a word, just like the “N” word, which is also just a word. It is amazing how many people can get so worked up about nothing. The word only upsets you if you let it. It’s not really any different than being called an A$$ H*)# or any other derogatory term.

We teach children it isn’t nice to call names. Yes, Mr. Washington’s name calling was both immature and inappropriate. I don’t think it’s cause for him losing his job. How any of you can compare the word Fag or Faggot to the word Nigger, is amazing. There is no way in this world those two words should ever be compared. Yes, the name calling was inappropriate and unprofessional but I repeat, the two words should never be compared. I could go on for days on this subject. I really wish black people would step up and address this issue.

We as African People have not about treated disrespectful for far to long. We get called the N…. all the time. I think Mr Washington is an up standing great actor, so it had to be something more than one word that caused him to react to. All the comments about calling him stupid and other things are just not reason to do that. I feel all the other white people on the set probably ganged on him, because white males don’t like to see black stars doing a good job. I don’t think he should lose his job over this incident.

Gays and Blacks are both minorities, that’s why there should be some mutual empathy. Isiah is obviously an jerk, I hope they can him. There is never a reason to be physical like that, the least he could do is be an adult…

Isiah should have empathy for the gay guy because he is Black and gay and Black are somehow different… from what? Isiah should have no more empathy for the gay guy than Whites, Asians or anyone else.Isiah isn’t different at all, the gay white guy is.The world is made up of colored people with Whites being the only people who lack color.You are different, not Isiah.The gay experience and the Black experience are 2 different things and in no way should a Black person automatically somehow feel connected to some guy just because he is gay.How many of you knew he was gay before he told the world? On the other hand how many of you needed Isiah to tell you he was Black? Btw, if the Sista who writes, produces and created this show is any kind of a real Sista, Isiah ain’t going nowhere.Btw, when did the National Enquirer become a solid source for anything?
