This week is going to be all about Angelina Jolie as she appears on television show after red carpet after magazine and on and on, all to promote In the Land of Blood and Honey. And whenever Angelina is promoting something big, Jennifer Aniston comes out to play. Incidentally, I’m not denying that the reverse happens too – when Aniston is promoting one of her films, Angelina will magically appear for a candid photo op too. Will this week be any different now that Aniston is all loved up with Justin Theroux? Well… I don’t know. Do you want to build a conspiracy theory around Jennifer’s father saying nice things about Justin?

Days of Our Lives actor John Aniston turned up at Sunday’s Loukoumi’s Celebrity Cookbook launch (his cinnamon toast recipe is included) at L.A.’s Treehouse Social Club — and dished just a tad on his very famous daughter’s latest man.
“He’s a charming young man,” the soap veteran, 78, told Us Weekly of Theroux, 40.
Aniston, 42, and her Wanderlust costar have been dating since the spring, and now live together in NYC and L.A.
“I think they make a wonderful couple,” her dad added, explaining that he and his wife “get together whenever we can” with the cute couple.

So, dad gives Justin the thumb’s up, even though Justin isn’t Greek. John Aniston has said before that he’d love Jennifer to find a nice Greek guy, but she keeps avoiding John Stamos like the plague, and now she’s loved up with Justin. I wonder what her dad says about how much money Jennifer is shelling out to keep this romance afloat? My father would have a lot to say about the money part of it.
Anyhoodle… what’s the over-under on at least two big candid photo-ops with Aniston this week? That’s my guess – one solo photo op with tweaked nipples, and a photo op with Justin, looking especially lovey-dovey. Maybe this is the week for yet another Terry Richardson photo shoot?

I have always loved that bottom photograph of Jen and Justin where his arm is drapped casually over her shoulder and she has this funny expression on her face. It always reminds me of her in the late 90’s during the Friends era and I LOVED Friends.
I think they are a cute couple and shock horror! I also think that Angelina and Brad make a beautiful couple too! I don’t hate either of them. Ever think that the reason that the other couple always seem to have more pictures taken during the week after the other’s film is released is due to the papparazzi following them and trying to stir the pot so to speak? I think they are happy with themselves. Jen doesn’t want Brad back. And Brad is happy with his life with Angie and their gorgeous kids.

Yeah I totally agree. I’m indifferent to both sides, mainly because I’m a fan of great acting more so than a prominent celeb *Personality*. I would say AJ is the more talented of the two, but neither are outstandingly talented imo. Anyway, it seems if you defend one, then that automatically means that you’re an “Angelooney” or a “Faniston” of whatever label you want to use. Nice to see there are others who are happy for ALL of them having moved on (time for their fan base to do so as well!).

I just don’t see the point in being hateful to one couple of another. It has been a long time now. Imagine if people were making fun of you about a husband or wife you left 8 years ago? It would be insane! Yet people continue to make out like Jennifer is still pining for her husband and Angelina is a man stealing bitch.
Yes she did get with Brad while he was still married but how do we know that they weren’t in the process of getting a separation while it was happening. My best friend met her soul mate while he was in the process of divorcing his wife of 5 years.
Marriages break down, people want different things and sometimes you are not meant to be with that person for the rest of your life. That is the way that I see it.
I personally think Jennifer looks happy and in love, I think that Brad is loving his family and his partner Angelina, Justin looks like the cat who got the cream and he seems to genuinely love her. I don’t see the problem at all.
I am fans of both of them. I like both their films and I will probably go and see “In the Land of Milk and Honey” just like I went to see “The Bounty Hunter”.
Comparing their lives is like comparing apples and oranges. They are different women who want different things out of life.
@Bowengirl … Jen and Brad were already separated (January 2005) and Jen had already filed for divorce (March 2005) when Brad made his move on Angie in Africa (April 2005), and the Tabloids exploded. They ‘were’ a couple during the re-shoots for “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in May 2005, but by that time no one was really interested in the truth, and the Tabloids were all in a feeding frenzy.
For some reason, no one seemed to remember or care at the time that Jen had already filed for divorce. When that was mentioned, people justified their outrage by saying that Jen and Brad were still ‘technically married’ when he and Angie got together, as their divorce wasn’t final until October 2, 2005. But they completely ignored the fact that Jen and Vince Vaughn got together in July 2005.

What about all the engagement, wedding, first baby, we’re not breaking up and so on and so on shoots in various tabloids where the celebs get money for it? I don’t know if Theroux and Aniston got paid for it but it really doesn’t matter because every celeb tries to put his/her relationship in the spotlight by eiter talking about it or organising shoots.

The difference was Brad and Angie were promoting a movie, not releasing promo pics of themselves for the sake of publicity!
What’s bizarre here is that even most celeb couples don’t do that! They confirm their dating by showing up together on the red carpet or getting papped together. They don’t pose for pictures with a photographer friend and release them to the press!
Then again, Aniston works the media like reality stars do. Kim Kardashian and their ilks are out to be seen irregardless of having an actual project to promote…
They do star together in a film Iggles. That’s Aniston’s thing, having a BF for a film release :D, it sells so she keeps on doing it shamelessly. What annoys me now is that Richardson is involved. Hate that man.
I have used JP as an example too but others also promote aka pimp their relationship and children for no good reason (having a project is not a reason for me). Oh and JP used those infamous sandcastle pictures as a confirmation on their relationship so they didn’t red carpetted (is that a word?) the relationship either. Or the W pictures for promoting Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the theme had nothing to do with the film but whatever.
Promoting the Changeling through a series of intimate portraits makes no sense to me. Stefani, Spears…dragging their children on stage makes no sense to me. Garner organising photo-ops with the family while going to the market once a week makes no sense to me. Reese W. showing off her wedding pictures makes no sense to me. Almost everybody pimping the first baby pictures makes no sense to me. If you can, keep your children/relationship away from the spotlight so you don’t come across as a big liar and hypocrite when talking about “invasion of privacy” or “wanting a normal life for my children”.
And that’s were I give Aniston a pass. She does it so obviously and doesn’t pretend like she’s above that kind of promoting. Only did she complain when it was about public safety which is her right when celebs in general get chased or caught of guard in the privacy of their home (princess Di, Julia Roberts getting out her car and screaming because her children are in the car, Hilary Duff getting snapped while performing oral sex at home when she got engaged, Jolie on the grounds of that French castle when she gave birth to the twins, Aniston with the lawsuit over her topless snapshots etc…)

I mean the wide nose, the Jay Leno chin, the thin lips…..how in the world is her plain face called beautiful.
There are so many beautiful women in Hollywood, she just is not one of them.

It never fails Angelina Jolie is out and about all this week promoting her first directorial movie, here it comes somethiing anything just get me out there it never fails with Aniston. I would not be surprised if on the same week-end Jolie’s movie is in theaters JA announces that she and Theroux is expecting, good grief when is this going to end. Thought it did with Brad Pitt’s last outburst.
What does that really matter though? How does JA being in the news affect the publicity for AJ’s movie? Are there people who would likely have gone to see AJ’s movie who now won’t because they’ve heard that JA’s father approves of JT?
It doesn’t effect Angelina, Brad or AJ’s film in any way but it is another pathetic attempt of Jen’s PR shop to put a spotlight on her and continue the old nonsense. The Daily Mail doesn’t pick up items from US Magazine unless directed there and Stephen Huvane is famous for using the Daily Mail to drop his items. You would think Jen would be mature enough to see the damage this does to her and put a stop to it. Everyone talks about it and how rancid it’s become.
