These are photos from yesterday’s Hollywood Reporter “Women In Hollywood” luncheon. Even though some A-list talent made it, I’m still suspicious of any event that attracts the likes of Kris Jenner, Kate Bosworth and Jennifer Love Hewitt. If I was Viola Davis, I would be pissed at having to attend an event like this. Which isn’t to say that I don’t want to talk about fashion and all of the superficial stuff that comes with a “Women In Hollywood” event. Let’s start with Kate Bosworth, in this neutral Mulberry dress. HATE IT. But I almost always dislike blondes in beigey-nude shades. And while The Bos doesn’t look any more or less emaciated (she‘s always had those toothpick legs), there is something weird going on with her face:
Viola Davis in BCBG Max Azria. Very cute! Her hair is looking better too.
Here’s Melissa McCarthy in an outfit I’m not crazy about. Her hair looks great, though. And she’s having a great year too – she’ll probably end up with a Golden Globe nomination, well deserved.
Chelsea Handler – I guess she had a right to be there, more so than many of the ladies. She’s a total Monet, though. The closer you get to her face, the more messed up it looks. She has improved quite a bit, though. She using some better stylists.
Kiki Dunst in Burberry – love the dress, hate the styling. Kiki should have done something – anything – with her hair. And Kiki’s face says “I can’t believe I’m at the same event as Jennifer Love Hewitt.”
Speaking of… Jennifer Love Hewitt. And her crazy hosiery choice. WTF?!?

Just a hot mess going on. Why is KD standing like that? Why are her and KB wearing almost the same dress (I like both dresses). Kate Bosworth is creeping me out.
Viola Davis (I like her dress) definitely should be angry! I think I initially snorted when I read the first article on this event – I heard more about KB and JLH than actual consistently working and great actresses. The Bos’s face creeps me out. Seriously. Other pictures I’ve seen show her skin to be so tight and her mouth can’t seem to close.
Weird. I thought KD was just wearing a coat. Never put it together that that’s in fact her dress. The top threw me off.
I’m going to blame that extreme lack of sleep for thinking that I actually like what the Bos is wearing. The dress is great even though she annoys the sh*t out of me.
JLH looks like she’s trying to go all Duchess Kate on us with those tights. They look like leggings. FAIL.
I like Bosworth’s dress but I absolutely love, and I mean LOVE, Kirsten Dunst’s.
I want it. Badly.
Look on KB face in second picture just creeps the isht outta of me. She looks botoxed, too. I like Kiki’s look tho
KB is bland, beige simply does her no favors. She doesn’t look bad, she just looks meh.
Bubbling, KB’s face does look stretched. I have no idea whether it’s Botox or chemical peel.
She and KD are both standing very oddly.
JLH’s stockings, oh my. They actually make her calves look fat, which I’m pretty they’re not.
Someone should tell Jennifer Love Hewitt Duchess Kate doesn’t wear awful leggins, but tights.
Viola’s dress is odd, but she makes it work.
KB is just a very beige person. Here she’s parading one of her 3 facial expressions. I hate it when she squeezes her lips together to make her cheeks pop out like a squirrel. Guess she paid a lot for those cheeks and she doesn’t want anyone to miss them.
Kate’s dress and makeup was really nice but does she really have to wear beige again? I really like what Viola is wearing. She never misses on the red carpet. And Kiki’s coat dress was gorgeous and very fall and she probably was “I am not going to wake up at 5am so you can blowdry my hair”. And wtf with JLH? It’s a breakfast and she’s in a sparkly black dress with white hosiery? NO.
Kate’s dress is nice, she could’ve spiced her outfit up with better accessories though.
Kirsten, what kind of a pose is that? You’re not in bed darling!
I actually like Melissa’s outfit! Its very flattering.
Chelsea looks cross eyed.
Kate’s got that botox side smile with deer in headlights cause my forehead doesn’t move look going on. IS she even 30 yet?
Nope she’s 28. She looks so much older though.
I think her birthday’s at the beginning of January, so thisclose to 29. But whatever she’s done with her face the last few years has not helped her.
Ey-yi-yi. The only one that looked semi-decent was Viola Davis. Ugh. I think I will just pretend I didn’t see the rest.
Kate Bosworth can do no wrong in my book, and her makeup is gorgeous, but I agree that she’s making a peculiar face in the close-up.
I also usually like Kiki Dunst’s style, and I like the dress, but her hairstyle is pretty much “It’s a Saturday morning and I let my hair dry and now I’m going out for a bagel.”
Melissa McCarthy, whyyyy….. Bigger women can look good, but that’s like a cheesecloth muu-muu.
And Jennifer Love-Hewitt – well, that girl just has atrocious taste, and I don’t know why she hasn’t disappeared already (seriously – does she have a show or a movie? Does she work at all??). And so the tights just illustrate why she should go back to the baggy sweatpants and spend the rest of her life in obscurity, going to the ice-cream store. Stay away from the photo calls, girl!
I like Kiki’s overall look, including the hair. Kate looks not just over toxed but fillers in the cheeks. Feel like she’s too skinny to have that in the face. She looks like a manequin (sp?).
The pic of Dunst raises a question I have for all the ladies here: when a designer makes a trenchcoat that has a belt intended to be TIED, why is there a BUCKLE on the belt? It makes the wearer looks like she doesn’t know how to fasten a belt (mentally challenged? what’s the P.C. term these days?). Why not use the buckle, or use a belt without a buckle if you don’t want to or don’t know how to fasten one?
It’s my pet peeve.
I can’t bear the pigeon-toed stance they all do now
and KB doesn’t have the ears to tie her hair up

I hate Kate Bosworth’s face! She has the same – I just sucked on a lemon face as Renee Zellwegger.
The only person who looks presentable is Kirsten Dunst.
JLH looks like she’s going figure skating with those awful tights/leggings.

This is the worst that KB has ever looked. She looks 10-15 years older than she is, her face looks plastic, she has had so many peels and botox done to her face that she actually looks scary, the weirdest part is that she has had so much filler put into her lips that they are actually lopsided, one side of her mouth is fuller than the other side. The chemical peels and botox have literally destroyed her face and she can never go back.
Also why wear beige and put on a dress that makes you look like a school matron, and she is one person who should never, ever put their hair up like up, it shows everything and what it shows is not good.
