Alias is ending on May 22nd, and Jennifer Garner has said that she's looking forward to some time off with her nearly six month-old daughter, Violet. She may not have much time to rest, because she's negotiating for a role in The Kingdom, a political thriller:
Garner made headlines last week with her charity work with hurricane Katrina victims. She toured New Orleans with Reese Witherspoon and Cicely Tyson, and was brought to tears by a children's performance:
It's good of her to lend her celebrity to the cause, and more government resources and effort should be put into support for Katrina victims. Many were without adequate housing for months.
Garner has said that Alias had a good run, but that she is sad to leave her character behind.
Whatever she does next, Garner is sure to do well. She's a positive, friendly person and doesn't take her success for granted.

She's one of the few celebrities who seem genuine, you're right. Affleck seems more caught up in the Hollywood lifestyle than she is, but probably changed a lot after that fiasco with j.lo. Their baby is really cute.
Doesn't it suck that we don't get the latest shows like in the states?

I absolutely admire Jennifer Garner, I think she's gorgeous and beautiful in a very natural, lovely way and I actually think she's the only Hollywood actress that really stayed down to earth. She fits great with Ben Affleck - I never liked him before he started dating her, but now I think they're an adorable couple, and their baby is really cute =)
I loved "Alias" and can't wait to see the last season over here in Austria as well - and I'm sure she'd do great in a political thriller! It's horrible that she did "Elektra" and "Daredevil" and all that crap - but, well, at least she met Ben (AGAIN - they met before at the set of Pearl Harbor) on the set, so it has something positive as well =)
