Fox is currently doing their “upfronts” – meaning that all of the people involved with Fox programming are required to turn out to media events and shill for the press and try to get people to pay attention to their shows. Lea Michele was at the Fox event with all of her Glee costars, but who can pay attention to the costars when LEA MICHELE is there? Her talent is so epic, it becomes a vacuum, sucking the air out of the room. Or maybe that’s her personality. Anyway, Lea wore this turquoise Peter Som dress which… isn’t bad, actually. The color is great on her, but I could have done without the biscuit-level slit. I would also love to see Lea change up her hair, because this style is just kind of terrible on her.
So… did you hear that Lea isn’t getting her own spinoff show? When Lea’s Glee character “graduated,” there was talk of giving her a spinoff with Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith. But Fox shut it down, thankfully. But! Lea will be back next season in some form. How much of a kick in the teeth was that for Lea? She thinks she’s the star of the show, she thinks she’s getting her own spinoff, and now she’s just happy to be coming back for a fourth season of a show that most people kind of hate these days.
I’m also including some photos of Tamara Taylor, who is on Bones, and who is also having a really unfortunate hair situation. I hope to God that’s a wig. Also: Zooey Deschanel, who is one of my favorite girls of the moment. I don’t care for Zooey’s skirt, but she looks cute.

I’m going to pretend Lea isn’t in this post, since I’m hoping she’ll go away soon. But I love Bones, and I love Tamara Taylor. I think she has the kind of structured, slightly angular face to pull off that bob with a fringe. Normally it wouldn’t work, but I think she is working it.
Don’t like her character in Glee, but Lea is nice enough.

I know Lea can’t help it, but there’s something about her giant honker/huge mouth combo that I find very distracting.

Z’s opaque tights make her look short and her outfit is ill-fitting. Luckily, she has a beautiful face!
Lea and Zooey both annoy the hell outta me. Tamara is cute and I actually like her haircut and dress. Unlike Rooney Mara, she has soft enough features to pull off bangs.

ITA about Tamara. She has small features and can go with a haircut that puts the focus on her delicate feeatures. I wish the hair had more movement to it. IF its not a wig, I’m OK with that. Lea’s dress is trying to do too many things. Zoey looks cute as always but don’t like that big black bow that is threatening to eat her. Would have liked sheer black hosiery too. Love that she has no debt and $3 million in assets (it was in her financial statement when she filed for divorce recently). She is a financial example to so many people for being responsible. So cool that she is being so smart with her money – fame can be fleeting even for talented people like her.
@Elizabeth-I respect Zooey and admire her financial restraint (I could learn from it!). I used to like her a lot but her whole “twee” act just started to drive me crazy. Somebody posted a comment a couple weeks ago: “tilting your head and blinking your eyes is not a personality!” which kind of sums it up for me. That being said, I hope she eventually breaks away from that schtick. I’d like to see her do something different acting-wise because I think there’s talent there. ITA about the leggings-black hosiery would be 1,000 times better!
I actually LOVE what Lea’s wearing. It doesn’t look like her shiny rib exposing dresses she always wears.
But haha to losing out to Taylor Swift for the les Mis role. I kinda feel bad for her…losing out to Taylor Swift. Between the 2 I’m sure she has the stronger voice.
Re: Les Mis – it’s the first time I’ve ever found myself thinking, “It should have been Lea Michele!”. She would have nailed that role in a way Taylor Swift could never hope to, so I guess she’s the lesser of two evils for once.
As for the outfit – hospital scrubs? crotch-level split? I feel like her gynaecologist!

So the real question should be… who exactly did Lea piss off enough to award Taylor with the part.
Because as much as I do like Taylor, Lea should have been a no brainer for that movie. (Wasn’t she part of the Broadway show too??)
I am NO Taylor Swift fan–never heard a song—BUT I can see her good attitude helping her win fans in the audition room.
Unless Lea has been visited by three ghosts in the night lately, I could see her as approaching this audition with same same self-important entitlement she always has. It’s about time her attitude really bit her ass!

You felt uncomfortable about it so you bring it up again, this part she didn’t get???
Some people really need some nip/tuck and she is one of them. It could be blessing for her. Little nose job maybe.
Tamara is gorgeous- but her face looks jacked here- or is it just how she’s holding her face? As for the haircut, she got a completely different style for Bones last season and I hated it- she had these sideburn-like pieces that were distracting.
As for Lea- can I just say to women: please stop putting your tongue behind your teeth when you smile? you look ridiculous! Lea is doing it here, Reese does it all the time. I think they are *trying* to look cute. FAIL

I emphatically agree. The worst offender of the tongue behind the teeth smile is Katie Holmes, who does it in every photo. It looks so contrived, like they’re trying to be a cutesy 5 year old child. Puke.

Lea irks me to no end. Can’t stand her.
At least we aren’t having to see her nips and look at her put her hands all over Ashton Kutcher. Those pictures made me physically ill after seeing them. The problem I have with this dress is that it is boring and it looks like something Helen Mirren would wear. I love Helen Mirren but she is probably at least 30 years older than Lea Michelle. Lea will likely never get it right with fashion.

Tamara – her hairstyle makes me think of Zoe Kravitz for some reason. Not really a good sign. I like what we can see of her dress though.

Perhaps my rods and cones are all screwed up, but that dress doesn’t look turquoise to me. I think Lea looks great, as always.
I usually think Tamara Taylor is pretty on tv, but here her hair is awful and she is so skinny she looks ill. Hope she doesn’t have any problems with eating disorders.

I love Lea’s dress and i love everything about her!! But i just have to ask do you actually know Lea personaly in order to write that, to shay in the sort, she thinks she is above everyone else and no one likes her? Judge the outfit but don’t judge her personality since you don’t really know her.
