oh the days when Melrose Place was must-see tv and we’d spend ages discussing it at length at work the next day. Heather was spot on as Amanda. Hope she gets well. Hope Ava doesn’t repeat her parent’s problems. Have Heather and Jack split up? Wonder what caused it? I liked them as a couple.

Heather has been a mess for quite a few years’ now and still hasn’t gotten it under control. If you would have told me ten years ago Heather would have these issues, I never would have believed it. So sad. She’s a doll.

Holy moly (holy moley?). Did you see the photos of Heather’s friend taking away her drink at the basketball game on TMZ? It was sad, in retrospect. She is JONESING for her drink and her friend appears to be seriously taking her drink away from an already droopy eyed Heather, but playing it off as a joke…Sad. Hope she gets some help. So much potential there.

I hate to agree with Anthony Bourdain, but he was clearly always right about this. The sheer amout of deep-friend buttery nonsense that she promoted was simply irresponsible! Sure, her food is delicious, but it contained almost no nutritional quality and in a country with such a huge obesity problem (and, in conjunction, prevalence of type 2 diabetes) it’s practically criminal. Just because things taste good doesn’t mean you should deep-fry them, add butter, mayo, and cram it in your face three times a day several days a week.
Don’t get me wrong, I hate that she’s sick- but it’s good that the very person who promotes such an unhealthy lifestyle is publicly having to pay the consequences.

The food is good just not good for you and she not telling people to eat it every day she actually tells you other opposite and gives option to make the food less bad for you.
Is the public children who can’t make their own chooses on with or not they want to eat/cook that type of food.

Paula Deen herself isn’t making anyone eat anything they don’t want to, ffs. It’s only “dangerous” if you are too stupid to realize that the food she cooks contains lots of fat, and fat is bad for you. Blaming her is like blaming McDonald’s. You don’t have to use her recipes and you don’t have to buy fast food. If you lead a healthy lifestyle, which is your OWN responsibility, then enjoying one of her recipes now and then isn’t going to hurt you. Should we condemn every chef on the planet that cooks fatty food because people don’t know how to make responsible choices anymore?

I have been watching Paula Deen and how she talks more and more about lightening up recipes and using less sugar. Seems like she still uses butter though.

Ugh. Tired of the assumption that Daemon means devil/demon whatever. Thank you The Omen for ruining every variation of Damien possible. The name Daemon actually means The Guardian, and it’s Greek. Its my sons name, and he’s had it for a lot longer than a book series and TV show. Although I do feel sorry for anyone who decides to name their kid after some hot guy off a TV show.

I feel bad for Heather. I remember watching an interview with her on Larry King Live during her Melrose days. Her former Spanish teacher called in and said was a nice, sweet girl she was, good student, etc. Heather was very charming. It left me with a very good impression of her. I hope she recovers quickly and finds happiness.

When some women hit menopause, they get annoyed they can’t sleep. They try exercise and herbals, then maybe down the line, pills and booze.
We don’t know what her medical problems may be.
Depression is also very common for women in 50s because it goes along with hormonal changes of menopause.

this, unfortunately, isn’t new for Locklear. She’s had these problems (at least publicly documented) for over 10 years now so I doubt this is some menopausal breakdown as you allude

Heather was very career driven. I remember in interviews her talking about it. I really think she never had another child because she liked her career. Networks always sought her out. And then she had a flop. She started aging and didn’t seem to get any parts. I think she hit menopause because her hair thinned dramatically. She did a Lifetime movie after one of her episodes and Jack said he was glad for her because working made her happy.
I heard tonight on one of the entertainment shows that Jack ended the relationship because of her issues.
Cute, pretty girls sometimes don’t handle aging well, especially if the career dries up.
I liked her in that other Lifetime movie, though, where she played a delusional woman. She did a great job and was really looking good again. Less fillers. I guess things went south again.

I remember Tommy Lee said Heather really didn’t want any kids (not that there’s anything wrong with that), so maybe Richie had to do a lot of persuading to get her to have the one daughter.

She’s another one of those women who fall apart if they don’t have a man for five minutes. All this started when her and Jack Wagner broke up. She could fill the gap with a little boy toy like JLo has, but maybe that’s not her style. Maybe she should just get a life and go to therapy for lack of self-esteem issues.

People sure confuse the characters people play on TV as being them.. Heather has obviously had a substance abuse problem for many many years. This is not a recent occurrence. Her relationship with Jack Wagner broke up because of it.. several times.
This is what substance abuse looks like. People that are dependent on drugs or buzz don’t handle it for long. They are not able to mask it and cover it up. She has had several close calls and this is the most recent one. I hope she gets help before she hurts herself and leaves her child without a mother.
