Stacy Keibler is an “actress” now, she’s just signed with a powerful agency

I hate to admit it, but it seems like Stacy Keibler might be sticking around for longer than I originally anticipated. It seems like Keibler might be good for Clooney, right? Meaning that people are happy to see Clooney with an American girl, and that Stacy is a good schmoozer, and she’s growing into her role as Oscar-Date Barbie, right? He’s even letting her speak on the red carpet! And Stacy is the girlfriend of record for Clooney’s winning streak this year. So if Clooney loses the Oscar, will Stacy no longer be such an advantage? Unknown. But here’s what I do know: Stacy is ambitious. She preparing her nest egg for the eventuality that she too will unceremoniously dumped. She’s already upped her “appearance fee” – she’s up to $25,000 a gig (up from $10K), and she’s rolling in offers now that she’s “George Clooney’s girlfriend.” So now Stacy wants a bit more – so she’s just signed with the WME (William Morris Endeavor), one of the most powerful agencies in LA.

Actress Stacy Keibler has signed with WME.

Keibler’s television credits include NBC’s Chuck, USA’s Psych and CBS’ How I Met Your Mother. Her film credits include The Comebacks (2007), Bubble Boy (2001) and the forthcoming Dysfunctional Friends.

Keibler also competed in the second season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and is known for appearing on World Wrestling Entertainment and World Championship Wrestling in the early- and mid-2000s.

The actress also is dating George Clooney (repped by CAA) and attended Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards with him.

Keibler is also represented by Untitled Entertainment.

[From The Hollywood Reporter]

In retrospect, Stacy’s schmoozing at all of the awards shows makes more sense, doesn’t it? She wasn’t just glad-handing on behalf of Clooney – she was looking to improve her career, make contacts, and she’s trying to line up more work. Like, does Stacy think that Viola Davis and Meryl Streep are just dying to do a movie with her? Or is Stacy smarter than that? Is keeping her expectations low? Because they should be low. Elisabetta Canalis low.

    Well played, Stacy.

    • Asli says:

Well played, indeed. I don’t think Georgie has realised he’s being played. Wonder when he’ll catch up.

    • Anna says:

They’re both using each other so it’s totally fair game. Good for her for wanting to more than a pretty face. She knows it’s not going to last and that George’s money isn’t going to sustain her for the rest of her life. I don’t think she should try to be an actress though. Maybe one of those girls working for E! news or ET.

  2. The Orignal Original says:

She does look really pretty in her globes dress.

    • Rhiley says:

I agree she pulls off the red dress better than Reese Witherspoon pulled off hers.

    • birdie says:

Yup, hate to admit it, but she looked very good! Very simple, but elegant and the red suits her very well.

  3. I.want.shoes says:

This one’s aiming for higher than a short-lived modelling career.

    • Mourning the Death of Music says:

Stacey’s had a long career already, just not remotely on the level of Clooney’s. She was in the professional wrestling circuit from 1999-2006 building a huge fan base. She had work before and after the wrestling.

But I have no doubt she’ll use whatever connections she can get through George to further her career however she can.

  4. PrettyTarheel says:

*sigh* I like her-I think she’s realistic. She knows she’s not going to marry him, she’s along for the ride and she’s going to make the best of the opportunity.
    She’s way prettier than E.C.

    • Buffy Wilson says:

Yeah, I don’t mind this one so much. She actually seems ok. And she looked gorgeous at the G Globes.

    • lol123 says:

I actually like her too! I fought it or so long, but what the hell – she’s gorgeous and seems pretty down to earth and I respect her career moves. So much more respect or her than EC.

      Girl brought it.

      • TG says:

Agreee. I didn’t want to like her but she seems very down-to-earth and seems cool around Clooney. And I think her hair looks simple because she doesn’t have extensions like the rest of hollywood. I don’t think he is being played it seems like he wants his girls to get to the next level so when he leaves them they can stand on their own two feet.

  5. whocares says:

Signed with a powerful agency? Let the countdown begin! Wasnt that a sign of the beginning of the end for the last several woman Clooney was with? Help them get modeling, acting gigs, etc., and then all of a sudden; poof! Over! It’s like a parting gift!

    • Zozo says:

Thats what I thought as well! But he has to keep her around until the oscars, at least.

    • Sumodo1 says:

Of course! That’s what Clooney did for Canalis, who is now sniffing back alleys for D-list TV co-star meat.

  6. Bite me says:

    Must be nice

  7. Dibba says:

Seems to be the pattern with him. He never dates women of equal stature. I wonder why? Hmmm. At any rate, she looks lovely.

  8. Dibba says:

on a sidenote, I think he is looking horrid lately, perhaps he needs to move onto an older age group of women. I think the contrast in ages might be making him look worse.

  9. Lady_Luck says:

For once she looks good. Shame about the hair.

  10. guest says:

I guess the people from WME saw Stacy’s great performance in the movie “Fixing Pete” just had to sign her. LOL

  11. Bubulle says:

She’s using Clooney to improve her career and Clooney is using her in return, can’t blame her for that.

  12. paola says:

that dress is magnificent and she looks smart enought to make the ride worthy work wise. She can do better than him, he’s just an old guy now with a soft spot for young talentless women, I think stacy is different..maybe she won’t be an oscar winning but she can be the next Jennifer Aniston.

  13. Cathy says:

I’d say she has already been an actress. The WWE is nothing but a giant show, not very well written, but scripted anyway. I went to the show in Charlotte once (back when it was still the WWF) and found it very entertaining.

    • Ally says:

From TMZ: Her list of credits — 2 episodes of “Chuck” … 1 episode of “Psych” … 1 ep of “How I Met Your Mother” and a cameo in “Bubble Boy” … and several red carpet appearances with her SUPER POWERFUL BOYFRIEND.

I think her greatest work, though (besides Clooney) is that spectacle she made herself on spring break somewhere. It shows what George sees in her: she’s a muscular eager-to-please airhead who’s happy to be objectified.

  14. Rhiley says:

I can’t imagine her doing more than becoming one of the next generation of Barker’s Beauties, turning letters on Wheel of Fortune, or maybe occastionally hosting Miss America.

  15. guest says:

According to Ryan Seacrest.com her sources say she is moving in with George. She still is going to get some more career mileage out of the relationship, because it won’t be marriage and babies.

  16. Mirror says:

Dirty business! No other way than sleeping your way up? Unfair to those with talent and dignity.

    • guilty pleasures says:

A bit naive, don’t you think? Who in Hollywood hasn’t whored themselves out for opportunity? A rare exception they would be.
People compromise every day, and for far less than is on the table for Ms Keebler. How hard would it be to live a life of fun and luxury, for however long, especially if it can move your agenda forward.
Stop playing holier than thou, seriously, the judgement tossed around here is ridiculous!! Get real!

      • anne christoff says:

What is holier than thou about her comment? What isn’t real? Many actresses relied on TALENT and got ahead…Bette Davis, Meryl Streep, Mia Farrow. They may have dated directors, but those were within the context of full relationships.

Fun and luxury are only enjoyable when they are earned.

  17. outofafrica says:

Does any1 else think she looks like princess charlene? I just noticed the resemblance in the header pic

    • VaDare says:

Every time I see her, I have to remind myself that she and Heidi Klum are two different people. But wait – have we ever seen the two of them in the same photo? Hmm? Heh…

    • jane16 says:

Yes! I especially thought so with these latest pix. I’ve always thought Charlene looks like one of my sis’ & in these pix Stacy looks like them.

  18. poopie says:

if you’ve ever wondered what this gal gets in return for being his beard, now you know…time to move on..

  19. Marjalane says:

eh, maybe Grandpa really likes her. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some well placed “blind items” about a confirmed bachelor thinking “maybe marriage” as the Oscar time grows nearer. He’s pretty much dealt every other card in the deck to win.

  20. podzol says:

Watch out, Blake Lively! There’s a new ambitious PR-driven chick in town.

Who did better, or rather what’s the better option, snagging Leo or snagging Georgie?

With George you get wined and dined the way an old-school elder gentleman would treat a hooker in the 1940’s, and taken to Cabo to cavort and have threeways with Alex Rodriguez. Er, no thanks.

With Leo… you probably read scripts together in his living room and playing XBox while having no hot sex whatsoever (because I’m persuaded he’s the unsexiest person in bed with no libido and just lies there like a worm, disinterested). No thanks.

    What a meh Sophie’s choice!

    • aprayerforthewildatheart says:

OMG! Now I have that image with them and A-Rod stuck in my head nooooo!!!! The horror!!

    • normades says:

“With George you get wined and dined the way an old-school elder gentleman would treat a hooker in the 1940′s”.

      LOL!

  21. Sports Gal says:

I’ll say this – she’s infinitely more likeable than Brooklyn Decker, who had big roles in a movie after doing nothing but posing in a swimsuit for SI and marrying Andy Roddick …

  22. Agnes says:

Well played! Use him while you can. Haha.

  23. Anne says:

I think I actually like her now.

  24. Pisa says:

That first picture is photoshopped, right? There is no way, George Clooney could ever look that tall next to her. And the light on his face looks completely different. Weird…

    • Katherine says:

It’s not photoshopped. George is standing on a step – you can see it in full length photos.

She seems pleasant enough and with those legs you almost have a future assured in something. She’s ambitious so, of course, she’s going to take advantage of opportunity. But she does give off trailer park vibes – I mean who goes into professional wrestling and embraces a career as a pin-up. And that voice – she sounds like a little girl. I don’t think George is capable of being with a woman of substance. He does seem more interested in The Show.

Just watched a few Youtubes of her – she’s from Baltimore and was taking acting classes in 2008. She’s got a big male following from her wrestling and semi-nude modeling. Just another Hollywood hopeful.

      • Sunshine says:

Haha I didn’t know she was from Bawlmer! I guess I’ll have to listen to her speak, see if she speaks Bawlmerese. Wonder if she and George throw back a few Natty Bohs and eat some crabs? (Only good thing about MD is those crabs!)

  25. Maya says:

She looks like she’d fit perfectly on the cast of a daytime soap.

  26. Franny says:

meh, don’t care about this development in the dolittle saga.

just wanted to comment again on how great she looked.

  27. Beatrice says:

She smiles often and really seems to be enjoying the ride… I wish her a long reign!

  28. The Original Mia says:

Good for her. I like her with Clooney. I like her as a person.

She’s a better actress than EC, so I say go for it. Sign with the big agency.

  29. Nanea says:

I wonder what kinds of favors GC promised the WME people for signing Cray Cray.

I’ll be on the lookout for Ari E. showing up in Laglio…

  30. really says:

She is pretty, and I LIKE HER!!!

  31. eyeroll says:

They seem like buddies not like a loving couple.

    • ataylor says:

That’s because they’ve known each other for a while. They have mutual friends. And acting-wise, she wasn’t so bad on “How I Met Your Mother.” She’s been around Hollywood for a while, with crappy bit parts on TV and film, but then most working actors have that problem (even really amazing ones) until they their big break. I can’t hate on her as I know way too many working actors that haven’t gotten an awesome break myself. And at least she seems significantly less smarmy/trashy than the last three. She had a long-time relationship with George Stults for pete’s sake.

  32. InVain says:

I didn’t like this match up in the beginning either…but I’m kind of loving it now. She seems like she “gets” what it’s about with Clooney…plus she’s GORGEOUS. Love that first picture, they both look like they’re really having a good time.

  33. Sasha says:

I wasn’t keen on Stacy to begin with but she’s strangely starting to win me over. She also looks beautiful with the ‘softer’ hair styling (i.e. not scraped back and piled high). Hmm.. am I really starting to cheer for Team Stacy? I think I am!

  34. M says:

I like her. I’m sure they are both aware of the opportunities that come with being George Clooney’s girlfriend.

  35. Cody says:

I think she looks pretty in her dress and maybe she is nice, but I wouldn’t spend $12 dollars of my hard earned money(which is what a first run movie cost around me) to see her in a movie. Also, they both still don’t seem to have that chemistry together on the red carpet. Well award season is almost up, will see what Stacy gets out of this, maybe a boost in her career or an engagement ring.

  36. Jackie says:

she will get a small gig on one of the entertainment shows, he will dump her, and then she will go back down the ladder…

such a gross pattern. it really negatively effects his image.

  37. zip says:

Has anybody seen some of her videos on You Tube from a few years ago on the WWE, she had some very raunchy stuff. Great role model for young women. Playboy asked her to pose and she turned them down. Playbody is almost tame compared to her entertainment on stage. I think if it wasn’t for Clooney the William Morris would have not looked at her. She has talent, there is hope for the rest of us.

  38. nan says:

I like her. I have a feeling George is setting her up with a movie career so that when he eventually dumps her he won’t feel so guilty.

  39. GirlyGIrl says:

Hey, I have a membership in the KISS ARMY (was a fan as a teen) guess that makes me a Rock star.

  40. BerMan says:

Would be nice having George Clooney as a friend.

  41. Sunshine says:

So she’s an actress now, huh? Can we all play pretend because I want to be a sponge diver!

Nah but seriously, I don’t envy being a beard for whatever perversion(s) Clooney is hiding. Maybe it’s a Troy McClure-ish fetish? One can only hope!

  42. aprayerforthewildatheart says:

She is good looking, don’t know if she can act. Honestly though she’s so tall she would tower over most male actors, it’s fine for big names like Kidman. Time will tell, stranger things have happened.

    • Wendy says:

Perfect for action films. She could probably kick the a** of 3/4 of the guys in HW. They’re all 5’6″ anyways.

      • aprayerforthewildatheart says:

LOL! True that, a bit like La Femme Nikita I guess? At least she would be believable, she looks the part for sure.

      • Wendy says:

Some sort of Valkyrie / Lucy Lawless thing? Or a butt kicking PI? I could totally see that.

  43. Camille (The original) says:

She’s an averagely attractive girl, but she doesn’t have the charisma or ‘It factor’ to become a Movie Star IMO. No idea if she has any actual talent, but maybe she could get some TV work.
Anyway the girl just needs to SIT DOWN and play the girlfriend part well, and if she is lucky she will be like all his other ‘girlfriends’ and end up with some new boobs and a modelling contract.

    • shawn says:

I completely agree with you, Camille.

Interesting that nearly all of the comments on here are by her p.r. people saying she has talent etc. Like Canalis, if Keibler had any real talent, it would have become evident by now, as both have been “actresses” for over a decade. Signing with an agency really means nothing. It doesn’t mean the client will get any more or better work than what they’re already getting. Maybe she will get another network TV contract to do guest spots on TV shows like she got right after DWTS. I don’t see her doing any better as a result of changing agencies. Also there is a strong possibility that she slept with whoever signed her at WM. I believe she is the person in the blind item about the actress that slept her way through her agency before getting to be the (contracted) “girlfriend of.” I guess she’s going to sleep her way through the WM agency next.

      • The Original Mia says:

I wish I was her PR person, but alas I’m not, but I have seen her on Chuck. She did good in the role.

    • Dredz says:

Yes, agree. She really doesn’t have the charisma to be a top figure. She dresses so nicely now… (I think Clooney must hire a stylist for all of his girlfriends because they really dress alike), but she still has a trashy vibe. I don’t think she has beautiful face either, she’s so ordinary. Anyways, I don’t envy her. Never find Clooney attractive anyways, that Cary Grant comparison is really just a joke.

  44. ! says:

Well after reading all the good comments on Stacy I have only one thing to say:
KUDOS to Clooney’s team for managing to make people believe that Stacy Keibler is an elegant and classy woman. Who would have thought that putting lipstick on pig could turn the pig into a dove!

    • shawn says:

“KUDOS to Clooney’s team for managing to make people believe that Stacy Keibler is an elegant and classy woman.”
They haven’t convinced anyone of a thing. Her p.r. people would have us believe otherwise, though.

  45. Mitch Buchanan Rocks says:

In the second photo Stacy looks like Heidi Klum and why is George taller than her now?

  46. Kim says:

Just because she was signed as a actress certainly doesnt mean she can act.

  47. Jin says:

George Clooney just bugs me how he has alway said he values privacy, yet he picks these girls who clearly just want the spotlight and a career stepping stone. He parades them around and tries to be this power couple. A private man would not do that.

    • Sophie says:

I disagree. If he wanted attention, he would date famous actresses. Instead he dates women nobody’s every heard of.

      • shawn says:

The nobodies he contracts with are the biggest famewhores on earth. They constantly pull d-list publicity stunts including staged photo ops and leaked stories from “sources.” It’s all just the same script with a different nobody ever since Larson.

  48. Sarah says:

She should become a sports announcer. She apparently likes sports. Almost all of her fans are horny male sports fans from her WWE and almost-nude modeling days and her talking like a high school cheerleader would actually appeal to them instead of grating on their nerves like most people. She would be great at it. I don’t follow sports, so hopefully I’d never have to see or hear her again.

    • shawn says:

I agree with every word, but especially “I’d never have to see or hear her again.” Let it be so.

  49. Chrissy says:

Still can’t believe Clooney is with yet another woman who is clearly out for fame/attention (he is private?! Hardly!). But Stacy looked lovely in that dress. And I loved her hair. Much better than pulled back as tight as she usually wears it.

  50. Playlist says:

Stacy’s new agency is all part of the Girlfriend gig contract. It’s standard for all George’s women, even going all the way back to Celine. What they do with it after he’s no longer getting all their jobs for them is another story. Stacy should have no trouble latching onto another rich guy after George. Let’s hope for her sake it’s a guy her own age, rather than another father figure like George.

Although the have no sexual chemistry, they do get along well as friends, so George may keep her around longer, at least long enough to move her in first, probably right after the Oscar nominations. Good help is hard to find and Stacy is low maintenance for the most part. There’s really no reason for George to trade her in for a new one since no one is buying his contract relationships no matter who he chooses. Stacy gives the public enough distraction so George can live his private life without too many questions. She is doing what she was hired to do.

Unfortunately, George looks old, short, frail, and struggling with his health standing next to young, tall, strong, and energenic Stacy. She highlights his shortcomings. I’m surprised George’s ego can handle it.

  51. samira677 says:

This probably means the relationship is ending. Everytime his girlfriend starts getting work, they breakup a few months later.

  52. pato says:

she`s beautiful! and looks sexy and healthy! and she knows exactly what she`s doing. I like her, using him like that. everybody thinks he is using her as his beard, but is her who is winning more points. go girl!!
I love that dress and on her looks amazing!

  53. LucyOriginal says:

    Congratulations to Cray cray!

She managed to “get there” in less than 6 months. Hopefully, she will be able to maintain “HER” A-lis status. And no, I ndon’t think he will dump her. As I said int he other thread, she will stay for a while.

ps: to all struggling and talented actress out there, learn with Mr. Clooney how to succeed in the business: 1- go the easy way; 2- give up; or 3- keep struggling for the rest of your life; 4- find George Clooney to help you out. After all, he is a man concerned with women’s role in Hollywood.

    • guest says:

I agree with you, she is going to be around for awhile. Unless another A-list actor asks her out she is going to stick to George until they have to peel her off. Under the big smile, pretty gown and nice make-up is a woman who is not going to give up a chance to relaunch her career for another woman to step in. Good Luck to both.

    • shawn says:

Um, she doesn’t have an A-list status to maintain. Do you think casting agents are fighting over her? She’ll be lucky to get a lead versus a supporting role in a Hallmark Channel movie.

  54. crtb says:

She looked beautiful last night. The color red flatters her. She looks best with her hair up. I have no idea how long she’ll be around. I think she has at least a good two years. However I watched them very closely last night and there is no chemistry between them. She does all of the coorect moves and smiles at the right time but it all looks fake.

    • LucyOriginal says:

it comes off very fake and rehearsed to me. I thought was really funny how she talked on the red carpet AS IF they were dating for ages…makes one wonder how long they are actually doing this friends with benefits act, lol

  55. Karen says:

    Great Ass.

  56. Sophie says:

She’s too tall for him. Bad move on his part.

  57. Jayna says:

George isn’t being played. He probably helped her. He’s fond of her and wants to see her do well. When he dumps her, she will be self-sufficient, unlike Celine who left her life in France for him so he took care of her financially in some way.

Maybe it’s his parting gift to her like Kelsey’s to Camille before the dump happens. They have no chemistry. I bet he’s fantasizing about his hot and spicy sex with fiery Elisabetta while sweet Stacy is taking care of his needs.

I have seen her in small parts a couple of times. She isn’t bad. She just brings nothing to the table

  58. Heather says:

    I like her.

  59. Sara says:

I love her dress and diamond bracelet!

  60. MST says:

Ah! To live the life of a beard!

  61. marie says:

wow…her style has certainly improved! I think she had the classiest and sexiest look at the awards. Gorgeous dress.

  62. Bo says:

Nice dress, make-up done well, terrible hair and they lack chemistry on the red carpet.
