David Furnish sort-of apologizes for his hissy fit directed at Madonna

Elton John lost the Golden Globe for “Best Song” to Madonna. And dear God, was he pissed, as was his husband, David Furnish. While Elton simply let his bitchface do the talking, David Furnish went on a rampage regarding Madge’s win – he gave quotes to media outlets (“Did Madonna get the Golden Globe because she attended the awards and agreed be a presenter? The award should have gone to Mary J. Blige or Elton. I like Madonna’s music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at.”) and then he took to Facebook to blast Madge – “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism…”

So, it was ugly. And Madonna kept her head up, surprisingly enough, and simply told the press that she hoped she and Elton weren’t fighting (again). Well, now that several days have passed, David Furnish has finally decided to bury the hatchet. Except he’s blaming all of us for blowing his words out of proportion. Yes, because WE are the ones with issues.

David Furnish has described his and Elton John’s spat with Madonna over the Golden Globes as “a tempest in a teapot.”

After blasting Madge as “desperate” and “narcissistic” after she beat Elton for Best Original Song, a not fully apologetic Furnish wrote on Facebook, “Wow! What a tempest in a teapot. My comments regarding the Golden Globes have been blown way out of proportion. My passion for our film ‘Gnomeo & Juliet’ and belief in Elton’s song really got my emotional juices going. But I must say for the record that I do believe Madonna is a great artist, and that Elton and I wish her all the best for next week’s premiere of the film ‘W.E.’ ”

[From Page Six]

Yeah, right. I wonder why David is changing his tune so suddenly? Did Madonna call Elton and tell him to get a grip? Did Elton realize that David probably wasn’t helping his (Elton’s) Oscar campaign? Or did David – who is 49 years old – realize he was acting like a gigantic baby? Let me clear – I think Madonna’s Globe win was terrible and undeserved too, and I think Madge deserves a lot of scorn for a lot of stuff, but really, does it matter? Madonna doesn’t matter anymore, and by picking a fight with her, it just makes her seem more sympathetic and professional (by comparison).

Madonna doesn’t matter anymore? Since when? I’m in my 20s and I love her music! She’s still a legend, even if you don’t like her personally.

And David Furnish is a small, petty, whiny little bitch, who probably realised he’d put his foot in his mouth and looked a jealous fool. Either that or Elton finally put a muzzle on him.

    • ThatBoyLuke says:

I agree, I’m 22 and while Madonna’s bitchiness (to fans) does make me uncomfortable she does still make good music, is still a great performer and deserves more respect as an artist.

    • Flan says:

Don’t get the Madonna hate either.

Maybe it’s because she’s successful, but a woman?

The Rolling Stones are older and still do all kinds of crazy stuff, but they are not being called out for it.

      • lw says:

Word. In fact, the older I get, the more I appreciate Madonna’s impact. If Madonna “doesn’t matter”, who does? Beyonce? Gaga? Gimme a freakin’ break.

      • Franny says:

haha, right. all the women who read celebitchy must hate madonna because she’s a successful woman.

which is why we hate adele, who arguably had a much more successful year than madonna. or angelina jolie (okay some of you crazies hate her) but has also been successful in her directing debut.

people don’t dislike others because they are successful. they dislike them because of how they act once they become successful.

      • NotaBitterBetty says:

My thoughts exactly. Madonna may be many things but basically calling her irrelevant is laughable to me.

      • Nev says:

        THAT’S RIGHT!!!!

        bitch matters.

        love her.

    • Mia says:

Madonna has been on the top of the game for over 25 years! She matters so much people can’t stop talking about her! Is she self absorted? Obviously. Wouldn’t anyone be after all the succes you have, and been called “The Queen”?

    • Petunia says:

Agree with all of you. Only one person could win the award and those voting chose Madonna’s song, pure and simple. I preferred Mary J. Blige’s but I wasn’t one of the people voting. Madonna won. Get. Over. It. Elton. And. David. Sheesh! All David needs is a cutesy little rattle sent to him, to go along with that infant tantrum.

Madonna is still obviously relevant because tons of people go to her concerts. Good for her. Being an older woman is hard enough. I can’t imagine keeping up as an older performer. It takes a tough woman. So good for her.

  2. SarahS says:

I think I am more disturbed by the purple velvet, and she looks like she is outgrowing her bodice.

  3. bitterqueen says:

wonder if they share a plastic surgeon

  4. ThatBoyLuke says:

“Madonna doesn’t matter anymore” < LOL i love how people who don't like someone always try to make them seem irrellevant…
Madonna doesn't matter… which is why her last tour was the biggest grossing tour ever by a solo artist (male or female) and she just won a Golden Globe (whether you think it;s deserved or not).

  5. Asli says:

I swear this is the new apology fad. “Sorry but not really cuz’ you’re all idiots”

  6. Waldemar says:

Madonna DOES matter. She works in an industry that revolves around money. If you can’t make it, you are out. She, after 25 odd years, is still in because, like Thatboyluke said, she makes the most money of them all.

Just because you want it, doesn’t make it true.

  7. Jada says:

I can understand why Elton is frustrated by someone like Madonna. Musically, he is way more talented than she is but she has always gotten by with selling sex and constant self-promotion. I like some of her songs, but she needs to quit acting like Queen Bitch. It is really irritating. Her talent level doesn’t match up to her hype and ego level–never has.

    • skuddles says:

I agree Jada. For anyone whose been around long enough to remember the onset of Madonna’s career… she was sort of an 80’s joke. Just fluff and cheese, weak voice, wooden dance moves – with lots of sexy thrown in to distract from her obvious lack of talent (Like a Virgin video was a scream, so laughably bad). And she’s built on that ever since. So to a serious artist like Elton whose been around forever and produced a massive body of work thanks to an abundance of genuine talent, Madonna is not someone to be taken seriously, despite the fact she takes herself so very very seriously. But her iron will and talent for self promotion have kept her on the scene all these years and I guess that deserves the appropriate recognition.

  8. Just U says:

If Madonna doesn’t matter any more than how come GaGa, the “biggest artist in the world” ( not my opinion, but hey) is making a career by copying absolutely everything she has done?
Love her or hate her Madonna will ALWAYS matter.
    ALWAYS.
And Elton and his trophy bitch should just suck it up. A woman wins an award and he throws a strop. Just because Madonna doesn’t fawn all over him.

    • Minty says:

Elton and David certainly took the low road. They should not have made their grievances so public. It was immature.

However, please put down the Madonna Kool-Aid. It’s hilariously hypocritical to complain about Lady Gaga copying Madonna when Madonna has done the exact same thing to others in her career. Pot meet kettle. Express Yourself isn’t even original. The music (not lyrics) of part of the chorus [Express yourself/You’ve got to make him/Express himself/Hey hey hey hey] was directly lifted from Respect Yourself by the Staples Singers. Funny how much Madonna stans will defend her “originality” when she has a history of stealing people’s ideas, documented in news articles and in lawsuits.

She was sued for copyright infringement by the estate of photographer Guy Bourdin for blatantly ripping off his photos in her “Hollywood” video. She lost. Lebanese singer Fairuz sued Madonna for plagiarizing her famous 1962 hymn in Erotica. It was settled out of court, and the Erotica single and album are banned in Lebanon. Frozen and Ray Of Light album are banned in Belgium because Frozen ripped off part of a song written by Salvatore Acquaviva.

Born This Way probably has the same chord progressions or whatever. Lady Gaga is not particularly original, either. That meat dress was done before. She copied Roisin Murphy and also Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons. The difference is that she is usually gracious enough to publicly credit some of her “influences”.

Madonna rarely gives proper credit to others. That’s why she is often sued for copyright infringement, from sampling without getting permission. She pretends she came up with the ideas and knows many of her fans are ignorant of the less famous singers, dead actresses, and old films/photos from which she copies. They don’t know pop culture before 1984 and she relies on that.

Interesting that some think she’s a queen to whom people should bow down. Only sycophants and fanatics bow down (and grovel) to other human beings.

So what if she’s sold millions of albums and her concerts are successful? That doesn’t make her a talented artist. McDonald’s sells billions of burgers and nobody is calling their food cuisine. Justin Bieber makes millions, too, and he’s just as mediocre.

Besides her skill at self-promotion and manufactured controversy, Madonna’s success in her field can be credited to the following:

      1. Sleeping with the right people, especially in the beginning. Jellybean Benitez, anyone? She even offered to sleep with the head of production at Orion Pictures to get cast in Desperately Seeking Susan. The chief producer (the source of the story) is a straight, married woman, who of course turned her down. What’s funny is that Madonna got the part anyway. She didn’t need to whore herself out for that role.
      2. Hiring more talented people to write her songs, produce her music, design her concert sets, and direct her music videos. Ever notice that her best songs were written in collaboration with Patrick Bray and Stephen Leonard? She no longer works with them and her later songs never equaled her earlier stuff.
      3. Stealing the images of Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Louise Brooks, Jean Harlow, Brigitte Bardot, Bette Davis, Ann-Margret, and other actresses from Old Hollywood. If you’re familiar enough with classic films and reference famous old photos, you will easily spot the rip offs. Copying that frequently is not inspiration, it’s thievery. Take note, Beyonce.

Madonna has longevity in the business primarily because she’s ruthless, has few scruples, uses people and discards them when they are no longer useful. It certainly isn’t due to singing and acting talent. “Successful” men do the same crappy things all the time, so her gender is not the focus here. It’s her behavior.

      • Minty says:

correction at 2: Stephen Bray (her former boyfriend) and Patrick Leonard — the songwriters responsible for her earlier hits from the Like A Virgin, True Blue, and Like A Prayer albums.

      • Nev says:

the question was regarding her relevance.

not her business savvy or ruthlessness to climb up the ladder.

      • Minty says:

        @Nev

…how come GaGa, the “biggest artist in the world” (not my opinion, but hey) is making a career by copying absolutely everything she [Madonna] has done?

No, the question I responded to was the above quote by Just U, not on your or anyone else’s ad nauseam comments that Madonna is still relevant. And my comments are completely relevant here because Madonna is one of the main topics of this post by Kaiser. Praise Madonna’s mediocrity to the skies, continue to suck on her left teat, whatever — I couldn’t care less.

But don’t get transparently petty when someone else has a different, more informed opinion, especially when that someone was actually alive when Madonna first hit the music scene, and when that someone writes on the basis of researched facts, not on worshipful fanaticism like your comments on #25: “owning MTV….she almost created the music video” – LMAO, oh really? What a ridiculous, but typical, stan exaggeration, because many 1980s musicians can share that credit, not just your “queen”.

All emotion and little credibility. Kids these days…

      • Nev says:

Madonna TRANSFORMED the music video age…her and Michael Jackson.

        everybody knows that.

gaga needs to sit down already…she’s budget anyways.

      • Minty says:

Prince also contributed to the music video age. So did Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, U2, Van Halen, Janet Jackson, many more – anyone who was popular during the ’80s, because they were aware that it was a better way to visually present their music and reach more people at the same time.

Everybody who is old enough knows that. I watched MTV when it was new. So, it’s not only Madonna and the late, great Michael Jackson.

  9. really says:

    Too bad he apologized!

  10. Justaposter says:

I have been a fan of Madge forever, even remember watching her on American Bandstand (google young ones 😉 LOL) And I remember when Elton actually made music (and no, I am not talking about Disney movies!)

The whole thing just cracks me up, because David is bitching and whining about a song I have never even heard of.

  11. outofafrica says:

They both need 2 STFU.. Him especially.. Itz not like he’s famous 4 anything other than being elton’s paid bitch

  12. Cathy says:

David is nobody without Elton John, he should just shut his trap and bend over when Elton tells him to.

  13. Hautie says:

Okay as someone who grew up with the whole Madonna craze. (H.S. grad ’85)

I have always found her annoying.

    Still do.

But it is a Madonna “thing” to be annoying. And now as a Mother of 4, she has not changed a bit. Still out there showing everyone her cooch for anyone to see.

Elton and David were both shocked that a sub-par song won. And I really thought Mary J. Blige was actually going to win.

But I do suspect that their behavior probably wasn’t helping his (Elton’s) Oscar campaign. They knew it. And decided to do PR damage control.

And I feel pretty confident, that many more people had much worse things to say…. about Madonna winning anything for that movie too.

    • Justaposter says:

So no lace gloves for you Hautie? LOL

    • Bad Fairy says:

Me too. All she did when we were teenagers was drive up the price of vintage rhinestones. Didn’t like her then. Don’t like her now. It seems like some of the “legend” stuff is coming more from the younger crowd,no?
Don’t get me wrong. I know she did alot of ground breaking stunts. She is an amazing business woman and all that.
But the majority of her music (for me and many) is just superfluous pop music.
Y’all don’t get the hate? Sorry I don’t gt the worship.

  14. neelyo says:

Elton John has been a crabby old shrew for decades so it’s fitting that his husband is just as petty and mean. I didn’t even know he wrote a song for a movie.

And I love Furnish’s faux shock over the media response. ‘I can’t believe all the attention to lil’ ol’ me! I’m just a simple housefrau standing by her man.’ Blech.

    • Petunia says:

Yes, neelyo, Elton has been a crabby old shrew for ages and ages. He always has something nasty to say about someone. He should win the Lifetime Bitchface Award. And don’t get me wrong; I do like his earlier works. But I don’t like his perpetual Bitchface to other entertainers. I think it’s pretty funny that Madonna made him look even crabbier by pretty much ignoring him and his Trophy Hubby.

  15. Mitch Buchanan Rocks says:

I too grew up in the eighties when Madonna had the world by the balls, was confident, now she doesn’t seem all that confident with all the surgery, and trying to be as she was back then. Clooney reeks of the same desperation. The faux brit accent is bizarre, she was really uming at the golden globes, which surprised me as back then she didn’t talk like that.

    • Jayna says:

Madonna not relevant? Ha. Her last tour was the best selling tour of all time for a solo artist male or female. She still tours behind new music and sells out quickly to stadium tours. Her LiveNation deal is huge. When you do tours and it is supporting a new album with nine new songs and the majority of the music was 1998 on with only three or four 80s tunes usually, that’s relevant. Plus she usually does different arrangements that freshen up older songs. People flock to her concerts knowing it’s not a nostalgia act and that it is newer music and they pay big prices to see her. Why do people still flock to her concerts? Because she has a great catalogue of music spanning decades and she puts her all into her concerts for her audience.

      Rock on, Madonna.

Love her or hate her, but she’s one of the few 80s stars (U2, Springsteen) that IS still relevant. Even if her album won’t sell as big as 2005, 13 million albums, it will sell in the millions, which in this day and age is no small feat, especially for longtime acts.

  16. sarah says:

Who the hell is that David Furnish? Noone? That’s what i’ve thought. so funny to read such comments from person that achieved NOTHING

  17. Jules says:

I think Furnish totally had a point…Madge didn’t deserve the win and her speech was a horrible display of a woman who is totally in love with herself.
“my movie” “my movie” I can’t stand her for her attitude alone.

  18. Jackie says:

i still think she makes some catchy tunes and is a great performer in videos. it’s when she opens her mouth or insists on being in the movie industry that she becomes insufferable.

elton and his husband need to shutty. he hasn’t made any relevant music since the 70’s.

  19. k says:

They’re all a bunch of babies.

None of them need awards. They can just go home and take a bath in their piles of money. But yes, Madonna is no longer relevant or very talented, and Furnish was way out of line.

  20. Jayna says:

Madonna would never call them. She wouldn’t reduce herself to that after such a diss. Elton lashes out at Madonna all the time. I’m sure Elton was pissed at all the flack he and his goldigger husband were getting and made him apologize. Blown out of proportion. LOL A vicious, hissy fit on his facebook right after she won is an embarrassment to Elton and David. First of all, Elton’s song was no better than Madonna’s. And people win all the time I don’t think deserved it and I’m sure other nominees don’t think deserved it. Imagine if the other nominees carried on because they lost.

I don’t consider it a real apology anyway.

    • Petunia says:

      This comment^^.

The irony is that Elton’s song was no better or worse than Madonna’s. Both were sort of MEH. He’s just mad that his MEH didn’t win.

And Furnish looks foolish dissing a hard *working* artist when HE does nothing to earn his keep.

  21. dena says:

Nice example of misogyny from a bitchy gay guy. Who is David Furnish anyway?

I make fun of Madge’s arms and narcissism, too, but the woman IS a legend.

Furnish, as far as I know, is just Elton’s glazed play hole.

  22. ThatBoyLuke says:

It seems like the reason SOME people are bitching about Madonna is because… she’s a bitch, yes that’s true but incase you hadn’t noticed Elton just as big a bitch as her if not more so and David too.
Whether you think Madonna is tallented or not she has made some amazing music (E.G “Ray of light” album) which makes Gaga’s albums look like they were made by justin bieber in his mothers womb.
I appreciate Elton as a musician (in fact i was just playing the song he did with Kate Bush on her new album) but he’s as big a bitch as her, so…

  23. Euphorima says:

All i can say is that I hope my face does not look that bad& cold when i reach her age!!!

  24. Kim says:

He isnt apologizing at all!!! He is saying his rude comments were taken out of context/blaming the media & public. This isnt even close to an apology. He acted like a spoiled child & is still acting like one.

  25. Nev says:

    ummm…..

-coming up from the nyc art scene…basquait, warhol, underground clubs

    -like a virgin…taking over teenagers style…embracing the “boy-toy” attitude.

-owning MTV….she almost created the music video.

    -like a prayer…controversial and ground-breaking album.

-owning the sex appeal HERSELF…images like dietrich…THE SEX BOOK.

-taking over the fashion world…designers are STILL copying and referencing her style.

EROTICA…one of the best albums EVER!!!

VOGUE…taking over the music in the clubs.

RAY OF LIGHT, THE CONFESSIONS TOUR (her best)…THE GIRLIE SHOW.

her business mind….record making deals, tours.

no she is not a legend or relevant.

  26. Catherine says:

He’s just a pissy little b**ch but who really cares. He should own those statements and leave it at that. I do agree with him, her acceptance speech was horrific.

  27. sm255 says:

Madonna is DEFINITELY relevant. Without her, I don’t think there would be as many as the successful female pop singers we have today. A lot do credit her as something of an influence. As for Madonna the person, I don’t know her so meh. She’s an artist so I judge her by her art, not by her personality.

And who exactly is David Furnish anyway? Other than being Elton John’s spouse?

    • Jayna says:

It gets even worse. The great William Orbit who composed and produced with Madonna the brilliant Ray of Light album and is working on Madonna’s new album is the sweetest guy in the world. Someone posted a screen capture of Orbit responding to David about the tone of his post. David told him off and tried to insult him working with Madonna and he was only desperate for money to work with her again and insulting him he wouldn’t know a good song. Whoa. Orbit was classy and posted back Elton was brilliant but he didn’t know David but couldn’t believe David would want to act this way and that he has worked the way he wanted to work in his career and it is not about money. He said he didn’t like the negativity and was bowing out from the thread. Orbit is truly brilliant and respected and unlike David has dignity.

  28. Laura says:

Yeah, Elton was being a dick but whatever, he was disappointed. What pisses me off is that his HUSBAND is talking crap. I mean, what does David DO except be Elton’s arm candy?

  29. Maya says:

Elton and Furnish are basically the garden variety of bitter queens.
Elton should look at the shambles of his career, no more sell out concerts, etc before he starts on Madonna.

  30. Just U says:

Whoa there Minty, calm down. I wasn’t looking for a thesis on the legal wranglings of the career of Madonna, (which I am aware of).
My point was that she is still relevant because people like GaGa and many others are influenced and inspired by her.
GaGa is not my taste, but to each there own.
    I like Madonna. Big whoop.
You don’t, bigger whoop. But for someone
who doesn’t like her you certainly seem to have paid close attention to her career.
Oh, and put down the bitter lemon. It leaves a nasty after taste.

    • Minty says:

No hon. You wrote that Lady Gaga “is making a career by copying absolutely everything she has done…” LOL, absolutely everything? Gaga is copying from many sources, not just Madonna. Madonna has consistently done the same thing. You’d be aware of that if you broadened your musical references. So, how can you even complain about a copy of a copy? I’m not a fan of either woman, though Gaga does have a decent singing voice when you take away all the gimmicks and absurd costumes.

My, how quick you are to resort to an ad hominem attack instead of countering with facts. To save you from fabricating pointless speculation about me and my state of mind: Of course I know plenty about Madonna. I used to be a fan of hers when I was a child in the 80s and a teen in the 90s. Then I grew up.

I noticed her actions often contradicted all those nice statements she made in interviews. There are plenty of occasions where Madonna treated her fans (who made her wealthy) like crap. Sycophantic, many make excuses for her boorish behavior and come back for more. I realized a lot of her success was built on ruthlessness, fraud, and the successive hiding behind fake personas. That woman has rarely ever been “real” to the public. You find out these kinds of things when you make some small effort to look beneath the facade. It’s wiser to accept an ugly truth than to continue buying into a pretty lie.

Funny how you point out that I have closely followed her career. Silly rabbit, if one is going to write about a subject, especially negative things, one should do the research. Add to that the fact that I was a fan once. If I had criticized her without much presentation of documented facts or knowledge of her history, you fanatics would be up in arms, asking: how dare I critique her since I know nothing? What a riot. You can’t have it both ways.

Thesis on the legal wranglings of the career of the career of Madonna” — Puh-leeze! Writing well is a liability now? That’s a laugh, since your sarcasm comes from the viewpoint of a generation raised with short attention spans, whose idea of fine English writing is a sloppy phone text.

      • Minty says:

Thesis on the legal wranglings of the career of the career of Madonna

        There. All better now.

      • Just U says:

I’m a 35 year old woman who grew up listening to her music, which I like.
        Get over it.

      • Minty says:

        @Just U

Well good for you. I’m a 36-year-old woman who is not impressed by attention-whoring hype, superficiality, and the ignorance of fanatics. If you hadn’t made that ludicrous, hypocritical blanket statement that Gaga “absolutely” copies “everything” Madonna does, then you wouldn’t have gotten a response from me. Grow a spine.

      • Just U says:

She is an influence. Get over it.
I have a spine which is why I repeat my point.
If everything you say is true, and I have no doubt it is, as you’ve obviously done your research, it still doesn’t make my point any less true.
Lady GaGa is inspired by Madonna. As is Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna etc etc…
        Stop taking it so personally.
Madonna copies others, others copy her.
It’s just the way it is.

    • Minty says:

I never said Madonna wasn’t an influence on later singers and pop tarts. Nor did I say she was irrelevant. I pegged her for the hack she is, despite her catchy early pop tunes. We can also thank Madonna for the sleazy amount of sexuality and porn aesthetic being used today to sell songs (a la Britney, Christina, Rihanna, and Katy Perry), rather than focusing on vocal talent as Adele is doing.

I took you to task for complaining that Gaga copies everything Madonna has done. Don’t try to deflect from that now. It seems it’s wrong (in your eyes) for Gaga to copy, but if Madonna does it then “it’s just the way it is”. Funny, but that sure smells like hypocrisy to me. I certainly wasn’t mean in my first comment to you, but of course you resorted to snark when responding to someone who disagreed with you. So then you got snark back. Big deal. There’s nothing unfair about that. The fact you’re still responding to me is evidence that you aren’t above taking it personally. And don’t trot out again that hackneyed chestnut, “get over it”, because there is nothing to get over.

      • Just U says:

        Your funny.
I was talking about how relevant Madonna is today. GaGa copies her. It’s not right or wrong, it just is.
I came believe how irate you are!! I’m actually laughing.
Oh, and when you answered my comments by trying to educate me and telling me to ‘put down the Madonna Kool-Aid’ (snarky) I felt it was time to clarify my point, as you obviously misunderstood.
You also assumed, wrongly, that I was some idiot kid who knew no better and tried to force your rant on me.
Now, if your completely finished trying to bully people over to your way of thinking I’ll sign off.
I will say though that you do have a point. GaGa doesn’t just take inspiration from Madonna, which she has said on numerous occasions. She also ‘borrows heavily’ from Cher too.
So, I retract the word ‘Absolutely’ from my 1st post, if that will make you feel better. I have other things to do.

Bully people? That has got to be the funniest thing you’ve written so far. Sure, I’m opinionated. Sure, you’re easily offended. Your pose of being amused is so disingenuous, by the way. Madonna gets criticized and you throw a strop. Just because I don’t fawn all over her.

If you want people to agree with everything you write, you’re in the wrong place. Go to some Madonna fansite already.

        Wow! Your arrogance is astounding.
I did agree with you, more than once that you have valid points.
You agreed with me that Madonna has relevance.
Now you presume to know whether i am amused by your rants and to tell me where i should post.
Believe me when I tell you that I really am LAUGHING AT YOU. A LOT. OUT LOUD.

      • Minty says:

Oh laugh away, dear. I don’t give a flying fig whether you’re amused or annoyed or both. Yet you presume to know that I’m irate. If I was feeling that way I’d be responding to you in all capital letters and exclamation points, the tried and true internet way. What a silly sanctimonious attitude you have (I’m a bully, I’m arrogant – LQTM) on a celebrity-mocking gossip blog, no less, and this act that you’re above it all is clearly false because your repeated responses to me prove otherwise. Have a lovely little evening.
