I think the main issue here is: Someone can dislike Obama or his decisions, and not be in support of Republicans.
The two party automatic dialogue is so old. Can we not have any layers or areas of grey in discussions in this country? It’s not always black and white….
Also, can we not continue to act like the prez. simply is ‘in charge of everything’ like the ‘big boss’?
It’s a fairly complex system of governance that we’ve got, and it’s both naiive and annoying when ppl constantly act like Obama can just waltz in and make or do anything he wishes, instantly. [Just b/c dubya tried to overide that, along with cheney, does not mean it is true.]
This is what irritates me the most in campaigns-I undrestand Obama has a great deal of say and power, and a voice to be a spokesperson for issues, but it’s not like ANY person we elect can just overnight make a huge overhaul. Well played. She was never some naive teenager. She was a grasping young woman, a role model for gold diggers, who knew exactly what she wanted and she got it. She knew all along what he was about and she didn’t care – didn’t he start seeing her while he was engaged to or at least still serious with some nice young woman.
They married in 2001 and she waited the magic 10 years to file for divorce. Do you really think anything about their marriage has changed since his allegations of rape? I’m sure he has been the exact same as he always was and I’m sure she knew all about his adventures.

Well she is not as dumb as I always thought of her after staying with Kobe after his “alleged rape” and cheating. She was smart to hold out after 10 years. I feel Kobe brought all of this on himself, you never instituted a prenuptial agreement and now he is claiming to be the victim. Kobe has always been one arrogant SOB looks like he’s finally getting what he deserves. The best way to get at a man is through is wallet. He turned his back on his family for this women and her family and now he’s eating crow! Good! Karma is one crazy,expensive and vengeful bitch!

Wasn’t it something like her parents threatened to have him arrested for statutory rape unless he married her? And I know his entire family was against it and didn’t go to the wedding (they wanted Kobe to do a pre-nup and he wouldn’t, for whatever reason). Then they didn’t speak to him until the first child was born. That’s what I remember anyway.

Yup, that’s the story. Kobe did not speak with his parents for a long while. Maybe even until his first girl was born, but it’s been a while. Can’t remember exactly.
He led a very weird life, and he is kind of a basketball freak, his perfection and dedication to basketball is so astounding that it boggles the mind. I could never be with someone so single minded. I doubt those kind of guys would ever make a good mate.
I’m glad he is on my team, but I don’t really think he is a warm, fuzzy kind of person. Then again, he does a lot of camps for kids and gave all that cash from Bow Wow to his counselors. I don’t give a shit as long as he scores 40 a night and I don’t have to be married to him.

It’s not like he was a 40 year old dude. He was a couple of years older than she was. How many in here went out with an 18 yo when they were underage? I did. Guess my boyfriend should have been arrested for rape because he was a year older?

Her & her entire family pressured him into marrying her and she knew he would & was cheating all along. She wasnt in it for love nor was he. He was in it to look like a family man & she was in it for the money and fame – well she got the money. I wouldnt be able to sleep at night but she doesnt have any morals so….
