I'm a huge fan of the show, but I just cannot believe the movie went on that long. I could've done without Samantha's man-whore next door, Carrie's ugly "new" apartment, and Charlotte's way over animated expressions and bouncing all the time. The only thing I did like was Miranda's cute haircut, and this is coming from someone who hated her character and looks from day one. There is absolutely no need for a sequel, what the hell could they do next time? Carrie and Big seperate in the first 20 minutes then spend the rest of the movie not talking and then get back together? Been there, done that, move on. Why the need for a sequel, such a stupid idea. Obviously money is the driving factor here as really what else can they ring out of the now tired series.
