Peter Dinklage could charm the pants off any coed when he was in college, would you?

This is a kind of filler story in the Enquirer. I would like to hear more specific stories about Dinklage’s youthful conquests, but I love Peter Dinklage so much that I’m having a lot of fun imagining the details. Apparently Game of Thrones actor Dinklage was a big womanizer in college and could easily charm just about any coed into bed. He’s 42 and a family man now though and has been married to his first wife, theatre director Erica Schmidt, since 2005. Dinkalge’s story at the Globes about leaving his baby daughter alone with a babysitter for the first time was particularly touching to me. Back in the day, though, Dinklage could pull as many woman as he wanted. (As I’m sure he could now if he had the inclination.) Here’s part of the Enquirer’s report:

Award winning actor Peter Dinklage stands just 4-foot-5, but he was a big man on campus during his college years!

[Dinklage] played up his best assets to win hearts at Vermont’s Bennington College, sources say.

“I tend to be a big flirt. I like to make people laugh,” the blue-eyed lady-killer divulged.

As for Bennington, “it was a debauched, crazy school,” he said. “I loved it. Three girls to every guy – it was very free.”

With his dark wavy hair and bright blue eyes, the pint-sized Romeo cut a wide swath among the Bennington coeds, sources say.

“Pete learned how to use his good looks and charm to his advantage,” an insider told The Enquirer. “He never wanted anyone to feel bad for him, and he never felt any different from a normal-size person.

“Pete always joked with his buddies that all hehad to do was keep his dark hair flowing and blue eyes open and he could get any girl he wanted – and he did!…

“Peter grew up in a family that encouraged self confidence,” said the insider. “But he is well aware of the stigma and bullying little people face in today’s society.

“He’s determined to do whatever he can to erase the prejudice and ‘midget’ stereotypes.”

Dinklage seems to be the first well known, highly acclaimed actor that’s a little person. Of course the actor who broke that very long standing barrier had to have exceptional talent and charisma. He just exudes subtle charm and is incredibly sexy. A lot of us are surprised that we’re attracted to a little person, but Dinklage seems to take it as a given. He’s the type of guy who would blow off the hottest girl in the room and make her wonder what was wrong with her. I really hope that we never hear about any issues between him and his wife. I hope they’re solid and that his success and fame doesn’t affect their marriage at all.

As for the question in the title, I so would! I just got kind of warm thinking about him. He needs to get his mop top cut though. I think he’s hotter with shorter dark hair.

Here’s Dinklage in 2003 at the Elf premiere. Hot!

In 2010 having dinner with his wife. Look at how in love they look.

In 2010 with his wife again. (He looks better with dark hair!)

I don’t think I could do it. Yeah he seems charming but I just…..no, no Dinklage for me.

  2. sassenach says:

He went to Bennington? I wonder if he knows or maybe even slept with Donna Tart?

  3. cocotastic says:

wow he went to the same school as justin theroux.

theroux did claim in an old interview about the school being sort of crazy and wild

  4. Kaboom says:

Peter rocks. I am pleased as punch to see the awards roll in for him.

  5. Kathy says:

Dinklage went to the same college as Bret Easton Ellis. Ellis’s book and the film “The Rules of Attraction” are both based on his time at that college (it’s called Camden in the book/film, though). Ellis is 46 now, so a bit older than Dinklage.

  6. Jackie says:

he is totally sexy. i would hit it.

  7. Isabel says:

I get that this is amusing or something because he’s little, but really? This is a story because….we’re shocked he can get laid?

Anyway, I love his work and was a huge fan of his on Nip/Tuck. I do not, however, find him attractive at all.

  8. Mrs. Nix says:

Yes I would, and without hesitation. Man, he smolders. I’ve always thought so, but the Tyrion thing clinched it.

But I would really encourage a haircut. I don’t like shaggy men.

  9. Cait says:

I misread “lady killer” as “lady tickler.”

  10. CTgirl says:

Bennington was infamous in New England as a very liberal (sex, drugs, rock and roll) college. Very expensive, very exclusive, and very wild.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Indeed. VT in general is a really liberal (and BEAUTIFUL) state. No coincidence that most of my closest friends grew up in VT 🙂

  11. LeeLoo says:

I would so hit it. Because I like smart men and Peter strikes me as a man who is very smart aside from just being sexy. Love him!

  12. LadyBird83 says:

I would totally do it. Little or big he is still good looking man. I think I’d take him over a regular dude with a “short man complex” any day. At least he’s cool if his wife wears heels. My ex hated it. But then again everything about him was small so…

    • Asli says:

LOL! Last comment is hilarious! Spilled my drink 🙂 Hate the “short man complex”! I’m tall so it’s basically every guy! In a room full of thirty guys there’d probably only be one or two taller than me. Oh, and Peter? I so would!

  13. Darlene says:

oh he’s sexy. I totally would.

  14. Roma says:

I think Warwick Davis was one of the first stand-out actors that was also a little person. The difference between Warwick and Peter is that Peter is smoking hot, which makes him more of a leading man in a traditional sense.

    • MJ says:

Yes! I can’t wait to see Life’s Too Short, the new Ricky Gervais BBC show starring Warwick Davis.

      • Hattie says:

Life’s Too Short is hilarious and I tend to find Gervais’ comedy a little too mean. Somehow Warwick Davis manages the tone and physical comedy with aplomb.

    • Lem says:

yes my thought when I read that too was “wait what about warwick davis?” I tend to think he really is the one who gets credit as the “first” little person to be successful in mainstream hollywood.

That being said, I love dinklage. He’s so fantastic in GOT. I like to think his attitude in that show is what his attitude is like in real life. Love it.

      • Roma says:

And Warwick has done a lot to help other little actors get work with his management company. I think he is a fantastic actor with incredible range.

But I completely agree, Peter in GOT is to die for.

    • Caz says:

Thank you for mentioning Warwick Davis. He was the main Ewok (Warwick W. Wicket) in Return of the Jedi. Respect. No sniggering. For those with long memories Dinklage was in U2’s video which featured a circus troupe (name of it escapes me). He’s a great actor and I’m also happy he’s getting recognition. He has a gorgeous face.

  15. Betsy says:

He loves his dog and looks like he is sweet to his wife, and vice versa. He is handsome, talented and smart. Peter is the best thing about GOT.

Heck yea I would hit that. (Peter – Call me!)

  16. MollyB says:

Are you f’ing kidding? Hell, yes, I would hit that. Leave the hair.

  17. TheOriginalVictoria says:

I normally can’t do the “short” guy thing only because a lot of them are so sensitive about it, and look, I have my own issues so deal with it.

    BUT

I so would DINKAGE. HE owns that shit and he’s sexy. Loved him in both versions of Death At A Funeral. His wife reminds of me Catherine Zeta-Jones a little bit. And I bet you he knows what the hell he’s doing in the sack!.

  18. Eleonor says:

If he can make me laugh he can do whatever he wants with me.

  19. Julie says:

I don’t know if I would but there’s a strong possibility. I’m basing this on the glimpse of his personality at the Golden Globes. I was very impressed with what he had to say and how he said it. I never fell much for the pretty boys but the boys I fell for were pretty inside and it always made their outsides look much better.

  20. aenflex says:

    Rock On!

  21. luls says:

I dont know…. his face and personality have potential… until i see the rest of his body. Guys who are shorter than me are just a turn off. Whether by a few inches or 10 feet. I like em tall and bigger than me in every way possible.

  22. jamminatorr says:

I totally would. Others have mentioned this – but I am also highly attracted to intelligent guys.

  23. ol cranky says:

My “G-spot” is definitely my brain and he seems like one helluva charmer so I’d probably have hit it too

  24. Agnes says:

He’s sexy. And I love their dog!

  25. Sasha says:

Attractive man but I’m not sure I’d hit it. Maybe. Apparently women can be laughed into bed. If he made me pee my pants laughing I would permit him to escort me to bed 😉

  26. Ginger says:

Yep! I would!! I’ve loved him since I saw him in the Station Agent…definitely very sexy. That’s awesome that he’s such a family man…makes him even more attractive! His wife is really pretty too.

  27. Jess says:

I have been a fan since Living in Oblivion and downright obsessed since The Station Agent. To all you saying you’re not into him…less competition for me.

  28. kimberly says:

I think he’s hot! Maybe it’s his voice, I’m such a voice and smiles person, but he’s hot!

    • Emily says:

Oh, I’m with you, a sexy voice can comepletely make or break someone for me. Although he’s hot in other ways, too.

  29. Lindy says:

I would, oh yes, indeed. Not only is he attractive, his interviews show off his intelligence. I love him!

  30. spinner says:

There is another sexy, intelligent small guy…Warwick Davis. He played Willow. Love him.

  31. Jb says:

Yes, yes I would. A thousand times over.

  32. Lynnie says:

He’s a good looking guy! I first noticed him in ” Death at a Funeral ” and have been happy to see him getting press lately.

  33. DreamyK says:

No. I couldn’t. He’s too close to child size for my comfort zone.

  34. Meadowlark says:

Totally! He’s a good-looking man with personality to boot.

  35. “has been married to his first wife…”

are we anticipating more than one?

  36. Medusa says:

I went to Bennington around the time he attended. Never heard of him until he did that train movie. And Bennington was a tiny school where everyone knew everybody else. (He is correct about the female/male ratio and the debauchery, although he didn’t mention that a good 75% of the males were gay as well) I think he’s exaggerating his woman skills, but I don’t doubt he was charming.

  37. Zoe says:

Yes & yes. His voice &confidence does it for me. Most of the men I have been with have been tall, above average. A lot of them were/are insecure, and its a turn off. Confidence is sexy, insecurity is my kryptonite. Own it and be proud of it.

  38. TexasTexasTexas says:

    I’d hit it. He’s hot.

  39. Sloane Wyatt says:

Yep, He does it for me, a very handsome man who moves the way he does + experience = a satisfied 5’9 Amazon.
