Simply take this as evidence of how slow it is this morning. In a few minutes, I’m going to be writing about Peaches Geldof too, so there’s that to look forward to. These are new photos of Nicole Kidman, out to lunch. She’s not in costume. Her big, teased up hairstyle is not part of some stereotypical “Southern” character. I’m not even sure if she’s currently working on any film, is she? Her IMDB says no – she’s got three films in post and nothing coming up.
I say all of that because these days, THIS is how Nicole dresses casually, when she’s out to lunch. This is her style. Do you hate it? My immediate reaction was going to be to hate on it, but as I really looked at the pieces of this look, I think it’s appropriate for her. It’s lady-like, somewhat dainty and fussy, but well-put-together. I like the idea of the trousers, but the tailoring seems off in the hips. The blouse is too frilly for my tastes, but I understand that Nicole loves these lacy, frilly things, and the stuff on the bust makes her chest look bigger.
As for the hair – how much would you love it if this was Nicole’s new hair style from here on out? I would love it. She lives in Nashville now (sort of), and it’s good to see some of “the bigger the hair, the closer to God” philosophy rubbing off on her.
I can’t see much of Nicole’s usually jacked face, so I’m declaring this outing a style “win.” I’m not even being assaulted by her lips (except for in that one profile photo). YAY for Nicole!

That’s not casual. She looks like she went to a business meeting- which was probably the case. I think Angelina Jolie would also totally love this outfit, only hers would have been tighter.

Nicole has naturally curly hair, this is probably what it looks like when she tries to blow dry it herself. But really not too bad at all.

The hair is not teased. Her hair is very kinky – looks like she straightened it earlier in the week and the kinky roots are starting to kink.

It’s like throwing a rock and hitting 15 blondes. There are some things you don’t do.
You don’t dye your hair blonde, it’s boring, change your brows instead. The second is if you have curls never use a comb or brush, finger comb with condition in the shower and air dry.

I’ve always thought that Nic was beautiful…until the lips, botox stuff.

She never looks her best in whites or pastels. Wish she’s never wear “nudes”. Washes her out. The skinny arms aren’t pretty.
OMG,the hair. It’s been bad for ages but this is nasty, straightened & dyed/bleached/dyed until it looks ready to break. Her natural curly hair is better. She’ll continue to color as she’s now very gray but if she cut off a few inches of the straggly ends she could have a more flattering shape to her ‘do.

I live in Nashville and we see Nicole and Keith out quite a bit, but I must say this is the first time I’ve seen her with a blowout this big. She isn’t gonna stick out a whole lot here with hair like that, but it looks a bit dated. Personally, I like her natural hair better. If she wants to straighten it, she needs to get a keratin treatment or something.

Have you guys seen her natural hair? What’s happening here is she did the blow out herself. Other than the pouf that is what mine looks like sans flat iron and mine is a bit less curly.
